"Mr. James is your real biological father, Miss. Haven't you ever been suspicious of those Langford, huh?"

The man spoke emphatically. Nana did know that James had died. But, she did not know if father and her brothers were also involved in the murder. Then, about Nana, who is Mr. James's biological daughter, Nana doesn't know all of that at all.

Nana was silent for a moment, she thought about the secret room that her father had hidden for so long. Could that be the place where the Langfords channeled all their killing intent? Or will Nana discover many more secrets in her father's secret room? Nana thought.

"But . . . why are you telling me about your master's abnormality? Aren't you Dad's person?" Nana asked while putting on an innocent face. Lately a lot of people are constantly provoking him. Until Nana is confused which one is good and which one is bad.

"Oh come on! Do you know the true meaning of rounin? No master's samurai, miss. I've had enough of being told by that Langford. So, this is the last time I do anything for him. Yes, I will eliminate you on his orders, Master Kenzio Langford."

The man's gaze turned sharp.

The man drew closer to Nana. There was already a traditional Japanese weapon 'SAI' in his hand.

"With this I will punch a hole in your throat, Miss. Your father told me not to kill you quickly. So, I will do it slowly.

"First, I'll stab your throat with this 'Sai'. Then, I'll let your blood seep out. I'd be so happy to see you begging to get rid of you immediately. Hahahaha ... I can't wait to do it." The man spoke again. Once he was about to raise his 'sai' into the air, making Nana's body tremble violently.

The man's eyes turned red with anger. He was getting ready to stab the sai into Nana's neck.

Nana swiftly got up and avoided the attack of the man who claimed to be her father's messenger.

The man did not give up. He pushed Nana's back, causing the little girl to fall to the floor.

Nana backed away slowly, the man getting closer to her. Until ....

Thwack!

Nana kicked the uncle's penis hard, making the uncle wince in pain.

When the man was off guard, Nana immediately ran out of the door that was not locked.

"That's enough! Let her go!"

A voice came from the earphone plugged into the figure's ear.

"Yes, Master."

Nana walked unsteadily down the rows of stalls in the area, in the middle of the night. When Nana stood in front of a building with a glass front, Nana paused for a moment.

Nana turned to the mirror showing the reflection of her swollen face from crying earlier. Nana was crying because of fear and crying because of the words of the grown man earlier.

Nana didn't want to believe all the bullshit of the uncle who had held her captive earlier. However, when Nana recollects all her memories of the irregularities in the Langford family, Nana becomes suspicious of her father.

Nana looked at the mirror and what appeared was another form of herself, which seemed to have an existence of its own.

Another figure of herself in the mirror, seemed to say, "Nana, you're not really part of Langford. If so, how could even the man you've been calling 'Big Brother' have the heart to erase some of your memories. And he told a cruel lie, by making you his fiancée, right?"

"But ... even though Brother Keith is evil, your daddy isn't bad, Nana!" Another figure seemed to appear, oh my, it looked like Nana's other self, who lived behind the mirror. "Daddy Kenzio sincerely cares for you. Despite his cruel attitude towards others," she continued.

Nana is getting confused hearing her own inner war. Nana was so depressed that she created her own imaginary garden. However, the two figures of imagination did not provide a solution. In fact, it makes Nana confused and in a dilemma right now.

Nana shook her head quickly, getting rid of the figure seen in the mirror, the black figure and the white figure.

Nana ran again. Having no direction, the important thing is that no one around her will notice that she is crying right now. The day is getting late, Nana is even confused about where she is now. Her mind was in turmoil at what the man said earlier, and the painful facts about her cruel brother, Keith.

It didn't matter how she was born, or whose blood ran through her veins. However, Nana still wants to believe that she is part of Langford, and will not change forever. However, why did her little heart doubt about that.

Otherwise, how could Keith be cruel to her. Not to mention the secrets that are now tightly closed as if popping up in Nana's head. Nana remembers the terrible incident that she witnessed with her own eyes. The incident when her father cruelly killed a human.

Taking someone's life was like pulling the clay out of Langford's hand. Dimly, Nana remembers her childhood who witnessed the heinous incident.

Although, Nana always protests about her life, which has been moving from place to place since long ago. Honestly, they were all happy times.

Nana even misses when she plays with her friends at the new school. And Nana who is worried about assignments and quarrels with her friends. Nana misses all that.

The more Nana wants to know about her past, the more she seems to be sucked into such a complicated situation. What should Nana live like this? Living without knowing anything. And let her family erase some of Nana's memories, when Nana finds out their secret?

'Will I live like this forever?' Nana thought.
