edit, 　　Caught red-handed, I have never felt more embarrassed in my entire life. And to make matters worse, it was an Alpha that I haven't really interacted with before. My mind quickly raced through various escape plans and the potential consequences if I failed to escape.

　　"Hahaha," I awkwardly laughed, and without thinking, I blurted out, "You look absolutely captivating." I wanted to smack myself for sounding like a flirtatious person from ancient times, teasing a married woman. Unfortunately, I wasn't teasing a married woman but rather an Alpha whom I couldn't quite figure out. Was I out of my mind?

　　"I was just joking, please don't take it to heart," I said, blushing and desperately trying to make him believe me.
