Ella "Senior, we need to talk"

Maxwell " Uhm okay Ella, what's up"

(Ocean high)

(In the the school hallway)

Ella "What happened this morning?"

Maxwell "Uh I don't know what your talking about Ella, did something happen"

Ella " Come on don't play dumb with me senior I'm serious, I'm your girlfriend and you could do something like that in front of me, this morning on the assembly ground when you stood in your underwear with the senior from class 7"

(This morning on the assembly ground)

(Maxwell who arrived late after his encounter with Zoey on his way to school was shocked when he found out that Zoey hadn't arrived at school yet, which was strange because Zoey had left Maxwell behind saying she had something important she had to take care of and should have already made it to school but was nowhere to be found, thus Maxwell began to worry, then after the Headmaster delivered his morning speech something rather unusual happened, Zoey who had been missing since Maxwell had arrived at school appeared before the entire school in nothing but her underwear, though surprised by Zoey's stunt Maxwell still tried to take Zoey off the stage in an attempt to protect her but Zoey refused his help wanting to stay there saying she had to do so all because she didn't want to do anything to harm Maxwell's reputation which he cared so much about, after she refused his help Maxwell then left the assembly only to return seconds later also stripped down to his underwear telling Zoey that if she has to do so then he will stand beside her in support)

(The school hall)

Ella "She obviously did so of her own accord so you didn't have to interfere, she's a new student so it's obvious she chickened out of a dare her class gave her, you shouldn't be interfering in their class matters senior you don't owe her anything"

Maxwell "Stop Ella!, you shouldn't be so cold, I agree It have not been my place but remember that I am now also 8th grade student after the double promotion exams and even besides that Zoey has helped me so much and you might not know this but the only reason Zoey had to embarrass herself like that is because she was looking out for me and you should know Zoey...Zoey is my friend! and I wouldn't let anyone harm any of my friends"

Ella "Then where does that leave me" says Ella in a frail voice.

W....What am I thinking, I just spoke so thoughtlessly to Ella, but I was only trying to clear up the misunderstanding, I wasn't choosing between them, and why would I even chose between Zoey and Ella, I mean Zoey is just a friend I don't really have any feelings.....do I?

Ella "Hmm well I guess if she's just a friend then that's alright, anyway I don't want to get myself feeling down, I actually have something planned for today" Ella says cheerfully.

Maxwell "Really? what do you have planned?"

Ella "Well if I told you then that wouldn't be any fun now would it, don't worry though we will meet today after school"

Maxwell "Well alright then"

Man I can't believe I just made Ella feel bad like that, though I'm not saying I wrong by supporting Zoey, I really shouldn't hurt Ella in the process, I should make it up to her somehow.

Ella "Well I'll see you later senior I've got to get to class"

(Ella leaves Maxwell in the hall and then Maxwell gets confronted by his former classmates)

John " Well well, If it isn't our senior Maxwell, hey we all saw what you did on the assembly man that was pretty funny you know and speaking off it seems you've been getting close to that Zoey girl recently....anything we don't know about"

Random girl 1 "Yeah senior we Even saw you guys together at the get together on Saturday"

Drake "That's true Max, you really seem to like senior Zoey could it be that you guys are secretly together"

Maxwell " No you guys have got it all wrong there's nothing between us we just happened to meet a couple of times purely coincidental though"

John "Of course...knowing you Maxwell you probably only did that stunt on the assembly to make her fall for you even more than she already has and then you can have as much fun as you want with her, am I right? hahaha"

Maxwell "Well of...of course"

So many things have been happening all at once today I started to forget what's actually Important. Ella and Zoey.....this is why I decided to distance myself from people, the moment you get too close they make you feel too comfortable and that's when you start to let your guard down and you then start to lose your grip on reality, that's what happiness really is....just an illusion that makes lose you connection to reality. I don't want to go back to a life of despair where I constantly get picked on that's the whole reason I changed.

"Hey hero boy!! I hope you haven't forgotten we still have a punishment we need to finish, you don't plan on leaving it all to me do you"

Maxwell "!!!"

John "It looks like your little lady is waiting, anyway senior we're gonna have to leave to, enjoy yourself now" they all walk away.

Maxwell "Hhhh I'll be right there!!"

Drake "Max wait!!" drake calls out to Maxwell before he leaves. "Are you sure about Zoey..., you seemed to really enjoy being with her so if you really like her then maybe you should date her"

Maxwell "Don't be ridiculous Drake....I wouldn't date her and I don't like her so please let it be"

Drake "But " Maxwell walks away. " Hmmmm"

(After school)

(Zoey is about to leave the school)

"Wait senior Zoey!!" Drake shouted from afar.

Zoey "Huh??"

Drake "Can I have a word with you"

Zoey "Sure... What's this about"

Drake "It's about Maxwell"

Zoey "Hmmm"

(Outside the school)

(Maxwell is waiting by the school gate for Ella)

Hmmm It's getting so late what could she possibly be doing or has she already left? no that isn't possible.

(Random junior from Ella's class walks by)

Maxwell "Hey, sorry to bother you but aren't you in Ella's class?"

Random junior from Ella's class "Uhh yes senior she is my classmate"

Maxwell " Do you happen to know if she has left the school or not"

Random junior from Ella's class "Well yes senior actually Ella left the school today quiet early I think she said she had something urgent to do"

Maxwell "Oh ? I see, thank you for your help"

Ella left already? she couldn't have forgotten about the meeting right? no she isn't the kind of person to forget so easily. he said she had to leave for something urgent, I hope it's nothing serious, I should give her a call.

(Maxwell then leaves the school and heads to his apartment while continuously trying to call Ella but she wouldn't pick up her phone)

(Maxwell's apartment)

<The number you have dialed is not answering...>

Maxwell "Hmmm why isn't she picking did something bad happen" Maxwell says in a worried tone. "I'll try again"

(Maxwell once again tries to call up Ella and then as he approaches his door he starts to hear the ringing tone of someone's phone coming from inside his apartment)

Maxwell "did I leave the door open? did someone get In?!"

(Maxwell opens the door quickly to see who is inside)

"Zoey!!!?"

(Ocean high)

(Drake and Zoey are outside the school having a conversation)

Drake "So senior thank you for meeting me here, I won't waste your time so let me get right to the point, Maxwell and I have known each other for a very long time and I know that he may look like the kind of guy that is very strong willed and refined but he is actually quiet sensitive and cares a lot what people think about him but since he has started hanging out with you I can see that he's been changing and he also looks so happy with you" Drake gets on his knees. "So please senior for his sake or even for mine, maybe you and Max stay good friends or even more please he's a really good guy and can use someone like you by his side"

Zoey "Waw only if he knew what a great friend he has, but you don't really need to worry about Maxwell being alone because I won't let him be... I will stay by his side, I already made up my mind about that a while ago, but it's nice to know that hero boy has people who care about him looking after him, your a good friend Drake "

Drake " No actually Max doesn't like to talk about it but we used to have a bad relationship in the past, I should tell you about what happened when we were in middle school, lets go somewhere to talk It's already late"

(Back at Maxwell's apartment)

Maxwell "Ella?! what are you doing here, and how did you get in"

Ella "Well all I did was look in the plant next to the door, did you know that 90 percent of people who live in a rented apartment tend to leave their key or a spare by their door"

Maxwell "Huh?? that still doesn't change the fact that you broke into my house, that's illegal you know"

Ella "Well technically not since almost every couple in high-school tend to live together so I'm just exercising my unspoken right, now stop fussing so we can face why I'm actually here"

Maxwell "Ugh Ella this is really risky so you really should leave, it's already pretty late people will get the wrong Idea"

Ella "Anyway the reason I'm here is because the the draft exams are coming up and I want you to coach me separately from the other class 5's even though you will be tutoring the entire class "

She just ignored me!!

Maxwell "Hhhh couldn't this have happened in school"

Ella "Nope then all the other class girls would just swarm you and then I wouldn't have you all to myself"

Maxwell "You mean to study right?"

Ella "Nope"

Maxwell "Okay fine!! let's do study then but you'll leave immediately after"

Ella "Fine, you meanie"

(Ella and Maxwell then start to study together as the time goes by Ella changes into some of Maxwell's clothes to get more comfortable but this doesn't bother Maxwell as they continue the tutoring)

Maxwell "Come on Ella you shouldn't be failing this it's pretty easy"

"Do you really not like me that much senior" Ella says interrupting Maxwell.

Maxwell "Huh?"

Ella "I came all the way to your apartment, we are all alone and I'm even wearing your clothes but you don't even seem a little phased, is that how much you don't like me?"

What is she talking about.....I am doing my best here to not give into any impulses and keep a safe distance from her, she's wearing my clothes and even wearing cute reading glasses that just look so beautiful on her but I just can't do it.

(Ella starts to move closer to Maxwell)

Ella "Senior.....I already told you, I'm your girlfriend and you are my boyfriend so I don't see why you create such a distance between us"

She's getting closer to me.....those glasses on her....I never knew that I would be so attracted to glasses on a girl, it's somehow feels nostalgic....she isn't moving back she just keeps coming closer to me and I don't know why I have this feeling in me It's swelling and keeps piling and I can't keep ignoring it, before I knew it she had already reached me from across the table, her body is already pressed against me and it feels like I had already been completely frozen, I couldn't move away, oh God she had already gotten so close I could feel her warm breath on my face. It's quiet and completely dark outside, without warning there came a sound of thunder it was very loud but we didn't even mind as we kept gazing into each others eyes, rain began to pour and the lights had gone out, there's an old saying that when it's completely dark and night falls there's this powerful intoxication in the air one that makes everything seem to be moving in slow motion and makes you feel a sort of calm throughout your entire body, at that moment I felt that intoxication and that calm as Ella stopped moving when she reached my face and then she closed her eyes, It didn't feel wrong....It didn't feel forced either as I moved in closer and finally our lips touched it felt as if my mind had gone blank and nothing else existed in that one moment, as if time had stopped, everywhere was completely quiet I could only hear her heart beat, yes in that moment only I and her were left in the world.....such a beautiful feeling. and it did not end there, when our lips separated I heard her say something underneath her breath, something that flood my mind with memories that made my heart feel worm.

Ella "Can we stay like this....for just a moment longer....Mahi"

Maxwell "Ellen?...."
