Chapter Thirteen

When I met Samantha in person yesterday, we caught up. We talked all day and night, which helped calm eachother down. We were still paranoid though. We wasn't sure when the next time the guy would come back, and if he did. We didn't know what will happen to either of us. Even though I been here for a month and ever since I have. My kidnapper treated me with kindness and fed me. I still don't trust him to not hurt me.

No matter what happeneds I have to protect my babies. Samantha was resting her head on my lap while she slept. I was sitting up thinking about how we would get out of here. Ever since I was kidnapped, I haven't been able to get much sleep. I was too paranoid to go to sleep. I still haven't met the man behind all of this and I don't know when I will meet him. All I know is I'm not looking forward to meeting him since he wants me dead.

According to my kidnapper, the guy who murdered my parents has been looking for me for a long time. Said he knew I was very powerful before I even knew I was. Some times I wish I wasn't though, because then I wouldn't be in this mess. My babies wouldn't be in so much danger if I didn't have any of these powers; but then if I didn't have these powers then the pack would have never been reunited. The witch clan wouldn't be as strong as it is now that I took it over. If I didn't have my powers I would be letting Samantha and the other girls down.

I got tired of sitting down, I needed to get the blood flowing through my legs again. I gently lifted Samantha's head off of my lap and gently placed it on the hard floor. I then stood up and started walking. It was hard at first, considering I have been sitting for a month without much movement. Once my leggs got used to walking again, I started moving towards the freezer that holds dead bodies.

I went to the first door I saw in my vision and opened it. I pulled the tray out to find that it was empties. I quickly closed it and moved on to the next one, but that one was empties as well. I kept opening doors to find each tray bodyless. This made no sense. I know he killed some of the girls he had kidnapped, but they werent here anymore.

As I stood there looking confused, I heard foot steps approaching the door I quickly shut the freezer door and ran to my spot and sat back down. I fixed my face so I could look miserable before my kidnapper came in with a tray of food and water. He closed the door and walk towards me before placing the tray and water down. He was about to get up and walk away before I said something.

"How come you have been so nice to me?"

"I have to keep you happy and healthy. Make sure those babies of yours stay alive." I stopped breathing. I swear I couldn't hear anything but a ringing in my ears. My heart sped up and my hands started to shake.

"You didn't think I knew?" The kidnapper said while smiling at me.

"I knew since the day I grabbed you. When my hand was wrapped around your stomach, I knew."

"Does he know?" I asked him, hoping, no praying that the guy behind all of this doesn't know.

"Yes he knows. That's why he hasn't made an apparance here yet. Doesn't want you to become too stressed out."

"Why are you doing this? What do you get out of all of this?"

"My life."

"I don't get it."

"He would kill me if I didn't do all of this."

"What if he kills you after he kills me?"

"He won't."

"How do you know though?"

"HE WON'T!"

I jumped when he raised his voice. I stopped talking then and pushed my food away. This man who is behind all of this, wants me and my babies. For our powers no doubt. So if I don't eat then he can't get anything from me and my babies.

"Eat."

"No."

"I said eat."

"And I said no."

We both stared eachother down, not wanting to back down to the other. He started to get impatient. He came over to me, grabbed me by my kneck and lifted me off of the ground. Samantha had woken up then. When she saw what was happeneing she started hitting him and yelling at him to put me down. He just got more aggravated and pushed her down before he turned those cold eyes back to me.

"If you want to die, I can arrange something."

"You can't kill me or do anything to harm my babies, because if you do, then your dead as well. Then you would have done all of this for nothing."

I said while smiling. I knew I had him there. He couldn't hurt me or my babies without dying himself. The big boss wants my powers, he can't get it if I'm dead and this guy knew it. His hand tightened around my kneck, before he loosened it and gently placed me back on the ground. As he was beginning to turn back around, he came and bank handed me so hard I fell to the ground.

"Next time I tell you to eat, you better shut up and eat."

He said while walking away. I held my cheek as I looked at him as he walked away. When he reached the door, he opened it and stepped out of the room. He turned around to face me and he smiled before he closed and locked the door. As soon as we couldn't hear his foot steps anymore, Samantha came over to me.

"Are you okay? What happened?"

"I provoked him."

"Why? He is crazy, he will kill you like he killed the others and he won't care."

"No he won't. He can't kill me or else he dies."

"What are you talking about?"

"The guy behind all of this, wants mine and my babies powers."

"I thought they didn't know about the babies."

"I thought so too, but they know. What happened to the girls bodies? I thought they were being held over there." I asked while I pointed towards the freezer.

"There are more than one room down here."

"I thought you guys were being held in one room together."

"No, each of us has our own room, and he has a room he uses to kill his victims."

"These walls must be thick then, because we never hear any screaming."

"Yea you can't hear anything through these walls, which is good. I wouldn't want to hear any screams. You should probably eat though."

I looked at my food before bringing it back towards me. On the plate there were mashed potatoes, greens, a roll and a drum stick. I handed Samantha a roll. I tried to share the rest with her, but she told me know. That I need to feed my babies and to get stronger.

I'm sorry I took so long to update this book. I had writers block and I have been working on the second book to this book "Royalty Or Love." I have also been going through a lot in my life and because of that, I no longer have a laptop. So it's been a little harder for me to update.

As for this book series. This book along with Royalty or Love will only go up to chapter 17. Then I will start with the sequel to this series. So far I have decided to make three books for this series, but it may change.
