Her Party

Jonathan's POV

Elena and I have managed to make it to the woods and I wasn't expecting her to be shy around me especially since just not a young girl anymore. she couldn't look at me when I undressed which made me wonder about a lot of things.

I had no problem with her looking at me because this is what we do in our pack. We do not hide from each other especially when we have to change into our werewolves during the full moon.

I guess I can say that Elena might just be full of surprises given the way she acted when she saw me undress. I think it's better to assume that I am probably the first guy she has seen without his clothes on.

She wanted some privacy so I just let her go and hide behind a tree to change and when she came out she took my breath away. I knew that I couldn't just stand there and look at her without anything happening between us so I just ran into the woods and she followed me.

I personally think that Elena is a wonderful girl but my wolf seems to think that her wolf is wonderful too. We ran deep into the woods and a few minutes later they came across a deer running around the woods.

This was my chance to see how good Elena was at hunting since she said that she has been doing it with her father for a long time. I also had to see if they did things differently from what I am used to.

Usually I would have ran faster and attacked the deer but I could see Elena relaxing and looking at the deer, and like me I think that she is a hunter that likes to play with her food first.

I watch her as she stalks a deer and confuses it, a few seconds later I see her pound on the poor animal and grabs hold of its neck, in one move the deer was dead. I was impressed by how she handled things.

We are predatorial animals but I never like or think that that our food should suffer first so, I always try to make sure that I make it a quick death so that the animal won't suffer much. I am glad to see that Karina is also doing the same thing.

"Great work..." I said to Karina.

"Thank you..." She said.

"Okay then I'll leave you to your meal, I'm going to find myself a deer as well. " I said.

"Jonathan you don't have to go you know? this deer is more than enough for the two of us, we can share." Elena said. It was sweet of her to offer but I didn't eat what I didn't kill and I didn't kill that.

"Thanks for the offer but I'll be fine, you can enjoy some venison and I'll be back soon." I said and left her.

I could have easily stayed and enjoyed the meal with her but I couldn't. I had a ravenous appetite and once I start I can't stop, not only that but I am used to doing this with NIA so every time after a hunt and a meal would make love under the moonlight.

watching a woman doing what she's doing right now was a complete turn on for me and now is not the time to be thinking about such especially since Elena has made it perfectly clear that she has no feelings for me none whatsoever.

It's not like I have feelings for her or anything but I just thought that she was very brave and that she is very strong, now that we have changed into wolves I can see her beautiful white mane and I love it.

Elena has told me that she is a fighter but I can see that she doesn't have any wounds or scratches on her mane, it only makes me wonder if she has extra powers that we are not aware off or something.

we werewolves are very special as we have a super fast healing ability but as much as we heal quick we are often left with the scars and I couldn't see even a single scratch on her mane.

I ran deeper into the woods and I found myself a prey of my own and I hunted it down and killed it, a few minutes later I had been done with my meal and I went back where I left Elena.

I was glad to find out she was done eating and she was somehow waiting for me. I couldn't get over how beautiful her wolf is and I know that my wolf is impressed with her as well.

"I don't know about you but we want to run." Karina said.

"Okay... we can do that." I said.

she didn't wait for me to say twice as she started to run into the woods and I followed her. I didn't think that things will turn out this way but I was actually having fun for once, our wolves run together and they played and got along so well.

"Come, I want to show you something..." Elena said.

I followed her and soon we came up on a huge willow tree which was almost identical to their sacred willow tree. except that this one had leaves that glowed, it was gorgeous I couldn't take my eyes off it.

The crescents are really a beautiful and magical pack. I have never seen anything like this before and I was in ewe. I only wish that my father could see what I was saying right now.

"What's this?" I asked her.

" this is another one of our sacred trees. when wolves passed away in my pack we bury them and after that we come here and we bury something that belongs to them here and they will forever be connected with this tree and the Pack.

and this tree is magical and mystical for it hold all the power of the previous alphas who have walked and ruled this very lands. when new mothers gives birth to they bring them here and they put them under the Willow Tree.

When the ancestors accept the child into their own realm the leaves will fall on a child's forehead and give them the strength that they need.

I was brought here as a baby and the gods and my ancestors gave me a special gift. as you can see my eyes are not like everyone else's because I am not like everyone else." She said.

"This is beautiful, thanks for sharing this with me." I said.

when this day began I had no idea this would be how it ends for me and Elena, I thought that she would be receiving her punishment and probably be locked in silver chains right now. I am glad that it didn't happen that way because I wouldn't have gotten a chance to see this beautiful tree.

"Yeah, we have to go back now." she said.

"Yeah we could but why are you in a hurry? we still have a few more hours, we can just run around the woods or you can show me more places like this." I said.

" Jonathan you are the new Alpha, I'm sure someone else would be more than happy to give you a tour but right now I would really love to be at the bonfire, it's tradition." She said.

"What are you talking about?" I asked her.

" everytime my pack changes, at the end of the night we have a huge bonfire where we all go and dance around the fire it is kind of like an afterparty of a sort." She said.

"Is there going to be booze at the party?" I asked her.

"There's always moonshine..." she said.

"Alright then, let's go..." I said and Elena led the way. Soon we were back in the woods and we had changed back into our human form. We went to where we left our clothes and I changed back into my jeans.

Once again Elena hid behind the tree and changed. She came out a few minutes later with a smile on her face. It's the first smile I've seen from her ever.

"So tell me more about this born fire thing, what's the purpose of it?" I asked her.

I was very serious when I said that I wanted to learn everything about the Crescent pack. I was grateful to the elders who have told me everything I knew about them but I must admit that they didn't tell me everything.

they told me what they thought I needed to know but I want to know everything and I can see that Elena knows a great deal about her heritage, she will be the one to teach me how they do things around here.

He said that during the bonfire everyone was seen as an equal. For one night we were all one people. " She said with a smile.
