All Or Nothing

Jonathan's POV

I didn't think that Elena would agree to the agreement I have with her but she did and so I want to make sure that she doesn't back down on her word. I called my father because I needed his counsel.

For the first time in a long time my father my father said something to me that I have never heard him say to me before. He told me that he was proud of me for the decisions that I was taking and he said that taking a wife it's something that he would have done if you was in my position.

He told me that it's the right thing to do and he also told me that I had to make sure that I teach Elena a a lesson that she can't forget, that means that he wants me to make sure that she doesn't stand a chance against me in the fight.

He said that I should punish her into submission but that is not what I want to do. I honestly didn't picture myself being here and preparing myself to be getting married. I hope that Elena sees that I am not without mercy.

I gave her a necklace with a crescent pendant on it, in this pack they don't buy their significant others rings but they buy a piece of jewellery that has a crescent moon on it and ask their loved ones to marry them.

I don't have feelings for Elena and I know that she doesn't have feelings for me too but if I want this thing to work we going to have to put everything in this marriage together. Elena needs to understand that I am not trying to break this pack but I'm only doing what I am supposed to do.

When I came here her sister's couldn't even take a punch and now they are skilled fighters and I see potential in them. I think that they should have learnt to defend themselves a long time ago because that is the only way they are going to survive in this place under my reign.

Elena told me that she can't take the necklace because we haven't had the fight just yet but I think that she is only delaying the inevitable because we both know how that is going to end.

"So you still think that you have a shot?" I asked.

"Yes I do, just because I agreed to your absurd terms doesn't mean that we are now friends. I mean I wonder what kind of marriage do you think that we are going to have seeing that we don't even like each other.

If I lose this fight and I have to marry you then you have to know that there won't be any love between us and you might as well forget us mating because it is never going to happen." She said.

Hearing her tell me those words can only mean one thing and for her sake I hope I am wrong, this could mean that she has already imprinted with someone and I hope I am wrong because if that is the case I am going to have to eliminate my competition.

I have a plan and I have to make sure that my plan works. it's unfortunate that my plan cannot work without Elena in it as she is a big part of this whole entire plan coming together.

She said that if I marry her then we will never mate, that means that I will never have an heir of my own. I don't think that my father could ever allow that even more I don't think that I can live with it.

I am not planning on having children of my own anytime soon but I know it for a fact that I want them in the future. I hope that someday Elena and I might actually work together instead of working against each other.

"I take it you have imprinted on another wolf?" I asked her. " I mean this would explain why you won't mate with me." I said.

"No Jonathan I haven't imprinted on anyone just yet, I just don't think that I can be able to share a bed with the man who killed my father. if I lose this fight and we get married then you should know that this will only be a marriage of convenience.

this means that you would be allowed to have another woman in your life and believe me when I say that I won't fight you on that one as long as you keep your promise and let me lead the Pack." she said.

I suppose I should appreciate her honesty but I don't because I have a hard time believing that she wouldn't want to have my children when she is so obsessed about preserving her heritage.

our families have been at war for centuries and this Union could actually be the start of something new and beautiful. I can only imagine the strength and power our children will have because of both our strong bloodlines.

The both of us could create something more stronger than anything we have ever seen in our lifetime. The Crescent pack have a strong bloodline which is mixed with witch blood, some werewolves in this pack have supernatural powers.

Well that was about a century ago and now it's only the elders who still have access to their magic. The rest of the pack hasn't had magic in a long time.

together we can form a bloodline that will be envied by many for centuries to come. I wasn't really expecting her to fall in love with me but as my wife she has to perform her wifely duties and one of them would be giving me children.

I can see how strong willed she is but she also has to admit that she has to make sure that she keeps up her end of the deal as much as she expect me to keep mine, the both of us should be focusing on making this place better than what it used to be.

Her father was a strong man and I have heard that he was a good leader so this means that I have very big shoes to fill. I have to do my absolute best and because I am not of the Crescent bloodline I have to work twice as hard to make an impression.

this pack is one with pride and one that values a lot of things. I admire the fact that they do things very differently from what I am used to back home. but I also think that they could do with some improvements as well.

They said that if something is not broke then you shouldn't fix it but in this case I think I should. Elena is angry at me right now and I understand because I decapitated her father but we have a deal and she has to honour her word.

"Fine you can have the necklace later, right now you can go to your room it is ready for you. I have asked someone to run you a bath so you better go before your water gets cold." I said and turned my back, this conversation was over and she had to have her bath after all.

"Jonathan you do know that we are never going to be lovers right? Think of this as a business transaction." She said.

"You're dismissed firecracker. " I said.

"Fine." she said.

"Oh by the way, you will be with me tonight during the turning. " I said.

I have given her her freedom but I still needed to keep her close to me when the full moon comes, the rest of the Pack will be in the woods and she probably thought that she would be with her sisters during that time.

"What? Why?" She asked.

"I want my soon to be finance by my side when we turn." I said.

"Fine..." she said and left the office. Elena needs to accept that she doesn't have a choice when it comes to me. it's my way or no way at all.

This is not a negotiation and it's pretty much how things are going to be between us. she needs to understand that even though I might be giving her the reins, I am still her alpha and she still answers to me.

The sooner she learns her place with me here the better things will be for her. I didn't come here to ruin the pack but I came here to rule these people and these lands.

I never asked for this but that is something I cannot put on her. I wouldn't have killed her father if my father didn't order me to do it. I was happy with just beating him and knowing that I defeated him.

I know that Elena wouldn't understand my reasons and I know that she probably will never forgive me for this but she's going to have to live with me so she has to find a way to work around her anger towards me.

Elena hasn't seen me in my werewolf state and tonight I want her to see it because I want her to know that she doesn't stand a chance against me. when we turn I want to take her hunting. I need to see how she does in the field.

people have been telling me that she has great combat skills but I want to see her hunting skills because for me that's where it matters the most, every time I am in a fight I have always approached my competitors as my prey.

I know that I gave her a week but I think that by the end of this night Elena would have made up my mind about my request to marry her. I honestly would prefer it if we didn't even fight but if it's a fight she wants then it's a fight she's going to get.
