After the interruption from Empress Lana, the parade was on its way to getting back on track. The Centaurs were next, and theirs was probably the most modest of the various royal processions. Though they laid claim to the large stretch of land known as the Forest of Giants, they weren't technically a kingdom, nor did they follow the concept of royalty. Because of this, their party consisted of the Centaur chief, his wife, and their young son. They trotted down the road, not paying any mind to the crowds around them. Their only wish was to get back to the forest to resume their quiet lives of hunting and gathering.
After they had passed, Rune suggested they relocate to the arena for the next set of ceremonies.
"It looks like that's it. Shall we get going?"
Carin looked over at him and shook her head in denial.
"Not quite. There is still one left."
"Who?" Rune asked, cocking his head slightly.
