Yanni

"It is an emergency transport gate we created. It can transfer one hundred thousand people at once, covering a distance of forty light-years in three seconds," Yanni said. His words hinted at something that would happen in the distant future, but he did not elaborate.

"What do you need from me? Surely you didn't bring me here just to listen and see all this magic?" Niard asked in an aggressive manner, putting his hand in his pocket. He knew he didn't have the strength to fend off any sudden attack from these people, but he was confident they didn't want to get rid of him since he was supposedly the savior.

"You are very observant. I have the ability to see the future, Niard, and I see a promising future in you. Therefore, I entrust these wizards to you. If anything happens to me, you will be the leader," Yanni said, his words making Niard's heart race. He had just met him and certainly did not realize that Niard's magic system had been out of order for a while, nor was his progress with it moving quickly.

"Isn't saving the universe and taking responsibility for other people an unwise idea, placing all this burden on someone who may or may not be competent?" Niard said in a worried voice, his eyes moving left and right. He felt overwhelmed and that this was too much for him.

Yanni patted his head gently and said, "If you weren't fit for this task, the old fool would never have chosen you."

Yanni turned his back to Nayred, then added as he showed some clips of the villain Vee.

"This is the greatest evil currently threatening the existence of wizards, and these witch hunters are collaborating with him. He wants to eliminate the human race and any form of life he deems primitive. So far, our attempts to defeat him have failed." Of course, Nayred knew who Vee was. He was dissatisfied with the ideas Vee was promoting and with this human empire and its system.

He wasn't pleased with this future at all. Yanni interrupted his thoughts to say, "There are also kingdoms planning to invade the universe. You must deal with them, and never fight a system user like you. Remember my words well."

This part of Yani's speech confirmed to Niard the possibility of another system user in this future.

"Let's suppose I agree to help you. What will you do about the magic users who might be searching for me and you right now?" Niard said, and Yanni clapped his hands, interrupting Niard with an attractive smile.

"Do you mean yourself, who is reading in the library?" Yanni replied, pointing to a dimensional gate showing an image of Niard reading books,he focused on what was displayed on the screen.

"Impossible, h-how did you manage this?" Niard muttered. "It is advanced long-range embodiment magic. No one will suspect the copies because they possess emotions and life energy," Yanni replied. Niard was amazed every time Yani spoke, and the magical capabilities they used exceeded his expectations.

He felt angry with himself for still being weak and not developing as he should to become stronger and more capable of bearing responsibility. "You always have a choice, Niard. Everyone in the Wizards' Guild will be at your disposal, I'm not good man as you think Niard you're our hope, the hope of every race ," Yanni said, opening a black hole beneath Niard's feet. He did not expect their conversation to end like this, and many questions had just crossed his mind.

"Damn, he didn't tell me how he would deal with the witch hunters," Niard whispered. He found himself in the library, replacing the copy that had been there. He clenched his fist and stood up, looking for Jerry. He wanted to stop them from tracking down these wizards; at least they deserved a peaceful life.

"Did you hear? A magic user has been captured! Rumor has it that Tala found him first," said one of the soldiers gathered around the supervisors' building. Niard opened his eyes in astonishment; he couldn't believe what he was hearing.

"Where is that magic user?" Niard asked angrily. The first person who came to mind was Deox, as he had been careless in showing his magical powers.

"H-he's in the General's office," the man replied. Niard let go of his shirt and quickly made his way to the General's office, his heart pounding. He didn't want anyone to be captured and subjected to brutal experiments.

"Niard Lux, who gave you the right to enter?" Tala shouted as she got up from her chair as soon as Niad entered and saw the man tied to the chair, with Jerry standing next to him.

"Isn't that the man I saw having his powers awakened with Deox? Was he sacrificed?" Niard thought, ignoring Tala's yelling.

"I offer my sincerest apologies for the sudden intrusion, but I desperately want to train in the hall and lift my ban. I will do anything in return," Niard lied. Realizing he had let his emotions drive him without thinking, this was the only thing that came to mind.

Jerry raised an eyebrow in disbelief. Just fifteen minutes ago, Niard had told him he wanted to go to the library to read because he was feeling unwell, and now his sudden, violent entrance made Jerry doubt his words.

"Are you sure you're willing to do anything to enter the training hall?" asked the General, who had let go of the collar of the magic user sitting on the chair.

Niard swallowed, a drop of sweat falling on Niard shoulder. "Yes, sir," Niard replied firmly.

"Then go ahead, kill this magic user, hr poses a threat to the empire" the General said calmly. The amount of darkness surrounding his eyes made Niard's heart tremble with fear.

"Sorry, sir, I don't intend to disobey your orders, but this is beyond my authority. According to Article 1029 of the Reserve Army Law, Chapter One..." Before Niard could finish, the General raised his hand to silence him. "I am aware of the laws, but don't say what you cannot execute. Next time, I won't consider the law."
