WALK

Grace had been waiting for this day for what felt like an eternity. It was not her wedding day, but something even more important than that. As her friend Ji-ah had suggested, she wore a stunning pink dress that made her feel like a strong, confident woman, embracing all the best aspects of her femininity. The dress seemed to hug her skin like soft petals, its hue a beautiful array of pinks that mimicked a flourishing rose garden. Her nail polish was a delicate pastel shade, as if new petals had settled on her hands, and decided to stay there forever.

The warmth of her brown hair complimented her features, framing her face in a simple but elegant way, highlighting the broad smile and eyes that held more love than she would ever admit. The hue of her hair seemed to change with each curl and movement like autumn leaves dancing in the sunlight. Beneath her skin, there was a gentle soul, waiting patiently for a kindred spirit to share its tender ways, like gazing out at the ocean waves, hoping for a ship to arrive.

Grace stood at the door, her heart racing with anticipation, waiting for Park-Young to arrive. In her mind's eye, she pictured him in a sleek black or white suit, holding a bouquet of red roses, his eyes sparkling with excitement and love. After several minutes of nervous waiting, Park-Young finally made his grand entrance, dressed in a stylish outfit and exuding a spicy aroma that made Grace's heart skip a beat. Although he looked like a seductive god, Grace couldn't help but imagine him wearing a tailored black corduroy suit jacket paired with a crisp white shirt, black bow tie, and black dress pants.

As they walked to the concert together, Grace felt her nerves getting the best of her. To calm herself down, she started playing with her hands. Park-Young noticed and complimented her, saying "You are looking good," in a reserved tone. Grace's heart fluttered at the sound of his voice and she tried to control her smile, looking at him with her dazzling eyes. It felt like they were on a romantic date.

When they arrived at the main gate, they were greeted by a sea of excited concert-goers. Grace and Park-Young took their seats in the front row and she couldn't help but giggle softly, thanking Seok-Joon and Ji-ah for giving her this special moment. As the concert began, the crowd erupted into a joyful frenzy, their cheers and screams merging into a happy hum. For Grace, the sounds of the crowd became a part of the happy center of her brain, reaching in and pulling out the joy. She was swept up in the excitement of the show and wished that she could stay there forever, free from the pressures of homework and studying.

It was her first time going to a concert so it's not her fault to act so overly dramatic and passionate for this event...Back then when she was small, she did not have many friends to invite her to their home or any other event but being here ( In Korea ). This was the first memory of her to be so jubilant today.

After the concert ended, they made their way to the vibrant game and food section. Grace's eyes lit up with excitement as she eagerly took part in every game on the stalls, from ring toss to balloon darts. She savored the mouth-watering street food and indulged in an array of desserts and drinks, including refreshing juices that quenched her thirst in the warm night air.

As midnight approached, he walked beside her, escorting her home to ensure she didn't lose her way. As they arrived near her door, he stopped and asked with a smile, "So, did you have a good time?" Grace's face lit up with a pure smile as she replied, "Yes, I had a wonderful time. Thank you for making it so special." He returned her smile, gazing into her bright eyes, leaving her feeling surprised yet warm and fuzzy inside.

Suddenly, heavy rain began to pour down as he dropped her off. He asked, "Do you have an umbrella?" which prompted Grace to insist he wait for the rain to subside. But he declined, explaining that his brother was waiting for him, and bid her farewell with a smile.

Later that night, Grace changed into her pajamas and crawled into bed, feeling sleepy yet content with the pleasant memories she had made throughout the day. Suddenly, her phone rang, and Ji-ah's mournful voice echoed on the other end, "So, how was your day? Did you enjoy it?" Awkwardly, Grace responded, "It was great, thanks to you and Seok-Joon. I just wish you could have come with me." Ji-ah requested an ice cream treat for her and Seok-Joon the following day, to which Grace readily agreed, "Okay, anytime." With that, Grace drifted off to sleep, dreaming of the fond memories she had made and the possibility of more to come. The concert ended and they made their way to the game and food section. There Grace eagerly participated in every game on the stalls and indulged in various types of street food, desserts, and drinks (just juice, not to be misunderstood). As the night progressed, he walked her home to ensure she did not lose her way. Upon arriving near her door, he paused and asked, "So, did you enjoy yourself?"

Grace's face lit up with a pure smile as she replied, "Yes, I had a wonderful time. Thank you." He returned her smile and gazed into her bright eyes, leaving her feeling surprised yet astonished at the same time. Suddenly, rain began to pour down heavily as he dropped her off, prompting him to ask, "Do you have an umbrella?" Grace insisted he wait for the rain to subside, but he declined, explaining that his brother was waiting for him. "Goodbye," he said, as he hurried away into the rain.

Later on, Grace was getting ready for bed, feeling sleepily content with the pleasant memories she had made throughout the day. Suddenly, Ji-ah called her with a mournful voice, "So, how was your day? Did you enjoy it?" Awkwardly, Grace responded, "It was great, thanks to you and Seok-Joon. I just wish you could have come with me." Ji-ah requested an ice cream treat for her and Seok-Joon the following day, to which Grace readily agreed, "Okay, anytime." With that, Grace drifted off to sleep, dreaming of the fond memories she had made.
