MATCH

Early in the morning, Grace woke up from her alarm and went to school as fast as she could with a smile on her face. In the class, someone called and told her to go outside because of an important matter.

" Are you Grace Harley ?" a boy who seemed to be a senior said to Grace. " Yeah, Is there something wrong " Grace replied anxiously. Grace was thinking In her mind. ( I didn't get into a fight or trouble with anyone, for what reason is he calling me? is he going to take me to the Principle's Office? I don't want to get scolded here). " Our captain Eul-Yoel has invited you to see the basketball match tournament today. I hope you can come, right " said the boy. She replied yes, and then he left.

If you are wondering why Grace only watches football and basketball or other sports rather than gossiping or girls talk, it's because the ground is nearer to her. Grace is shy and doesn't dare to go with full of crowds, she quietly goes to watch football.

Grace returned to her desk, and Park-Young saw her enter the class. As Grace came to her desk, he said " Have you gone somewhere I heard someone was calling you". " Yeah, I got invited to see the basketball match." Park-Young was thinking in his mind ( I don't want to face that jerk, I can't let her go alone, so I will have to go ) " So will you go there he also invited me. We will go together. ' he said in an annoyed voice. She nodded her head.

Let me tell you that she can speak Korean well. She is not a native speaker. Grace learned Korean for almost three years.

Afterwards, the first period began. The class got started, and the teacher was calling out their attendance, Ji-ah seemed to be absent today. So as Min-Won. The whole class seemed to be happy about Min-Win's absence from the call. The class ended Seok-Joon came over to them " Will you go with me to the basketball tournament ".

" No, I will go with Grace ". he said and came to Grace and looked at her with his big round eyes, in what looked like a why-is-everybody-always-picking-on-me kind of stare, and inside she got that feeling and become a total pushover and said " Grace can I also go with you ". " Stop giving her those puppy dog eyes," Park-Young said, giving Seok-Joon an icy death glare. Though Grace didn't want Seok-Joon to interrupt them she couldn't be denied him. She said' Okay " . " Grace is so kind you have to learn for her.' he said to Park-Young . " okay since Grace said' Park-Young condescendingly replied to him.

Then he joined them like glue and went to the hall. Because of Eul-Yoel, they were able to sit in the first row. The match was on the edge of her seat. It was becoming more and more interesting as the next round goes by. First round it seemed that they almost lost it. After the first match got over, they lost it. After a while, Eul-Yoel came to Grace and said " Did you like it?". " Yeah, but you were so close ". " Don't worry the second match is ours ". He said with a smirk on his face. To cut his conversation with Grace, Park-Young said" I can do even way better than you." "Try someday pal". Eul-Yeol said with a smile to mock him.

Later the second match started. After a couple of hours, they won the match. As the match got ended, he left as all the people were surrounding and chasing after him. Grace went to her home. She opened the phone, it was her mom calling her. Grace turned on the call immediately "How are you? Do you miss me? "Mrs Harley said. She instantly changed the topic and replied.

"He has not arrived yet he said he is busy " Are you studying?" said Mrs Harley

" I have to study " Grace answered and quickly hung up the phone.

Mrs.Harley said"Okay study hard, I love you bye. Grace took a bath. Afterwards, she opened her book and started to memorize everything. Soon as she completed it, she watched a psychological horror movie ( It was Gone Girl ). When she completed the movie, It was nearly midnight, she was having eye bags and puffiness in her face. Just as she closed her eyes, Grace went off immediately and start to sleep
