GRACE

NINETEEN YEARS LATER ;

" I have to encounter new people. Am I going to become a social outcast again?" She gasped while nervously touching her Claddagh ring on the way.

Upon entering the classroom, Grace's eyes scanned the room, sizing up her classmates with a piercing gaze. An uneasy smile crept onto her face, and she found herself at a loss for words. "I'll be left out again, but I can endure it," she thought to herself. Growing up in Italy, it was no surprise that all eyes were drawn to her.

Grace possessed a unique ability to see things that others could not. This set her apart from the rest, making her an exception to the norm. Whether this was a curse or a blessing bestowed upon her by the Lord was unknown. At the age of 6, Grace slowly was able to identify people based on their aura. She could see the different colors of auras. Grace saw most of the people's aura overflowing with grey and white which gave her a hopeless face.

.

Grace had cascading waves of leaf-brown hair and delicately arched eyebrows. Her lips were as sweet as syrup, perfectly complementing her charming personality. Her figure was hourglass-shaped, with a slim waist that resembled a decanter. Her skin tone was impeccable, with a warm ochrous hue that added to her allure. Grace had a rebellious sense of style, which enhanced her natural beauty.

Grace embarks on a new journey with a new identity. . Despite lacking knowledge of the external world, she held onto a glimmer of hope for a better life in Penvessia .

Soon after that she immediately sat on her desk with clumsiness as she turned her face sideways, only to meet the dazzling eyes of her desk mate. His whole body was overflowing with an enormous blue-black aura. It was seductive at first light. His luminous, heavenly-white teeth made her go freeze suddenly, and his hair was a glorious tumble of star beam-black and his virility- eyes set her heart a-thump. But it didn't last long, she shook her eyes away from him. Grace pretended to play with her nails. She wondered why he appeared so familiar to her.

" I can't wait to see her eyes filled with tears after some days," he smirked.

While Grace was lost in thought, a girl named Min-Won interrupted her with a sarcastic remark. " So you're an immigrant here? Can you even say a single Korean word?" Grace ignored her petty question, not wanting to waste time. "Are you deaf or something? ". Min-Won and her friends laughed along with her, but Grace chose to stay silent and not engage in their childish behavior.

.

Bolt from the blue the boy replied 'Are you done Min-Won, we have a test tomorrow, right? Instead of your nonsense why don't you just try to get passing marks on the test "...

Grace's heart was beating faster like a drum and the atmosphere suddenly turned cold, it felt like she was standing in the middle of a snowstorm without clothes, but it was still summer season.

Her mind started to recall uncanny events. She just got goosebumps all over her body from those types of thoughts. She can't shake the feeling off her mind.

Min-Won glanced at him, then furiously left the room angrily like a bear with a sore head.

"Thank you for--" the words died in her throat as Park-Young abruptly cut her off with an icy glare. "Just don't cry," he commanded, his tone leaving no room for argument. Fuming with anger, she couldn't resist throwing her pencil at him and challenged him, "What are you going to do, make me an outcast? Fine, you can do it." Feeling a twinge of guilt, he relented slightly, "I didn't mean that," before abruptly exiting the classroom.

.

The initial class periods transpired without any disruption. Grace finally returned to her abode and during the break, she ambled towards her bench. Sitting by herself, she gazed at her peers with an uneasy grin on her visage. Grace lacked the confidence to initiate a dialogue with anyone. As she observed other students engaged in group conversations and laughter, she began to feel a sense of isolation and melancholy.

Suddenly, a peculiar-looking girl with a raspy voice darted towards her and introduced herself as Ji-ah. Her hair was midnight - black and it flowed over her shoulders. She had honey sweet lips. They were lilac soft.
