UNLOCKED SYSTEM:PART 1

Students roamed the school area with excitement.Glen truly didn't understand this,"Why are they so happy today and they surely know that they were kidnapped and brought here?". Even if he said this,he was also anxious of his results.

In one of the halls surrounding the area, two figures were seated opposite each other at a grand table in the dining hall.Other two stood behind the figure that wore a long cape with a golden sword inside its clear sheath that was made from glass on the side of his waist.

"Report Sir.Henry,"the person who had two soldiers that wore golden knight armour,ordered.

"Thank your boss,"Henry said as he bored down a little to show respect and continued,"A great number of them are now skilled as you asked for...Am sure they can fight the battle...a bit,"his voice sounded sad.

"I know they are young Henry,too young to handle these creatures, but they have to.They need to fight for the survival of man kind.Other kingdoms are doing this same act.We have join arms to destroy the cause of the doom of humans,",the person sounded more reasonable that the earl decided to not question the man infront of him again.

They all then heard a loud siren indicating the event was ready.

"Duke Richard will be coming too from the fighting grounds.It's time to tell them there are changes of plans Hen."

Everyone gathered on the seats around the arena.They were very chatty of what ranks they were sure they will be granted.

"Am sure that I'll be made one the king's trusted Earls."

"I'll always be around the king as they will make me a Martial Knight".

"Don't be a fool,that position is taken.They select new ones after every twenty years to protect the King".

"I'll be made the new Duke". Everyone around the boy that said this laughed mocking him.

"You?? You'll never replace Richard.You know how the king has a strong relationship with him.Am sure he will still be a Duke even at his death."

Words from here and there were giving Glen a headache.If he was to work for the King,it means he will never get to see his family and village ever again.All he wanted is to go home.

While deep in his thoughts,away from the arena,in a position that was out of anyone's eye reach,there stood a shirtless boy who seemed to be at least in his seven-teen.Opposite him was a person,or creature that looked human but had complete green skin with black stripes.

"Am not in a rush.Am incharge of myself and you don't have a chance in my life."The shirtless boy almost groaned with anger.

"I know.And am not going to explain myself why I left that day."The green hairless man spoke.

"Explain yourself??I don't have time for explanations,I need to focus on my plans alone."The teenager was already exploding with anger as he stood fearless infront of something that was two times his size.

"Make sure after you complete that plan of yours, you will bring to me the royal sword."

"Aren't you stronger than me?Am a teenager who is weak compared to something like you.Go get it yourself."The shirtless boy was arrogant enough.

"I don't want to alert the divine being that I've attacked his planet,so do the job boy."

"Fine!I will do it just because I don't want you to get him here, you would ruin all my plans!"

Back on the field, the excitement in the air had exploded to cheers as Henry walked to the center."Hello knights! Today is the day you get to do what real knights do! Fighting for the kingdom!"The cheers continued.

"Sadly,you won't get ranked according to your performance.There isn't time for that,"these words brought about frowns and boos as the cheers stopped,but the Earl ignored it all as he continued,"All of you will be made red ranks and taken out there to fight those monsters!"No one was happy at all,but they soon threw the frown to the back of their minds as two words made them erupt noises of enjoyment again,the words,"fighting monsters". They had this kind of attitude of fighting always.

"Without any time wasting,you will right away get escorted to the knights' store and pick anything of your taste as fast as possible.We are going to defend a certain town that is on attack at this moment as am speaking.If you make it back to the palace,you will be informed further,you are ready for this.Now get moving!"

No one wanted to believe it,but things were rushed as they all were being escorted by five guards in white armours to one of the big halls on the left.None of the young knights has ever been in this part of the building before.But at this time and date,they could see its inside,it was full of Knight armours of all styles and colours, every kind and type of weapon that they had never even seen.

Sam pulled Glen by the arm to one of the weapons that were hanged on the wall."Are you sure you want to replace your ropes?"Glen was beyond annoyed because he was the one who had ruined the ropes in the first place.But this weapon was like an idol."Of course I do.I mean...look at this..."He said this as he took the weapon and held them by his hands.The pair of weapons was at high fashion as it had small blades along it surface and two large ones at the tip of every weapon.It was a pair of red thick chains.

"Am so taking this!, What's in for you?"He looked at Glen who seemed to be not excited with all the weapons,but was gazing at one full set of armour that was placed at the centre of the hall."Oh...I see...go ahead then, I'll go find something that matches my chains."Sam walked away pulling his long heavy weapon across the ground.

With no hesitation, Glen ran to the armour before someone else saw it.Reaching his hand out,he touched the armour that lay there on the ground on top of a short raised platform.He soon noticed that it was not only just his hand that was on the set, another covered hand was on it.

"Oh—you want it too? Okay then, take it.Dark purple isn't my taste."The figure was completely covered in a pink robe.It was one of the recruits whom Glen shared the sleeping quarter with.He sincerely never knew if this person is a male or female.

Without anything else, the robbed human walked away leaving Glen with the armour by himself.

"That was a mysterious one.I can't even tell if the voice is of a boy or of a girl."Glen thought as he took the armour and headed to the men's room to put it on.On his way,he realised that he was the only one left that wasn't prepared.Sam himself had found a match to his weapon.He wore a full set of red armour with black stripes.The only thing he lacked was a helmet.

In the bathroom,He took a small chest box from his pocket and placed it aside as he wore the dark purple armour.The set was super stylish and comfortable.At the back of the chest piece blade-like spikes that elongated upward reaching the level of his neck.The colour matched his gauntlets,so he also wore them.The helmet covered all of his head leaving two super stylish slanting holes for the eyes that looked like those of a demon's eyes.Ready for battle,he took his box,but suddenly,it was vibrating like crazy.This had never happened before.His back hit the wall behind him as he let go of the box because it was now. elevating.
