The next day, the news of what happened had already gone all around the school and most teachers didn’t give any classes, feeling outraged by the way their colleague was treated. They all went to the grandmaster’s office in the early afternoon but he wasn’t there. His secretary, Blanche Cosac, received them all with cold eyes, hidden behind perfectly shaped glasses.
