My Daughter In Law

Lola and Leah were walking hand in hand inside the big shopping mall looking glamorous, a shop assistant approached them "Good afternoon madams" she bowed.

Lola opened her purse, she brought out the black card which is only for the VIP members of the mall, she hand it over to the lady.

"Follow me Ma'ams" the lady leads the way, and they followed her walking hand in hand. The VIP area is only for influential with black cards, Leah was extremely happy when she received a call from Lola Smith, she was more than excited to hang out with her future mother-in-law.

The shop assistant opens the door that leads to the VIP area for them, and they both entered before she close the door behind them.

"I will be your assistant for the shopping, please have a seat" she bows.

Leah knows the etiquette as a lady of an aristocrat, she sat down like a princess, and she looked calm and preserved. Lola smiled at her, she sat beside her.

"Bring the limited-edition bags from Louis Vuitton" Lola ordered. The shop assistant bowed, and she carried out the order.

Lola pat Leah's hair "What did you think about Liam?" she asked with a smile on her face. Leah's face turned red "He is a gentle guy" she blushed.

Lola smiled "Oh look at you blushing, he is such a gentleman, I raised him well," she said with a satisfied look.

"I am sure my son also likes you because he didn't complain about the date, you have bewitched him with your beauty nice one" Lola praised her, Leah giggled.

The shop assistant interrupted their conversation, "Here are the bags ma'am" she handover over two bags to Lola.

"Which one did you like?* She asked Leah.

Leah felt on top of the world, and she happily picks the black bag "I will go for this" she said.

"She likes this, pack it" she instructs the lady. The shop attendant bowed, and she left with the bags.

"Leah, my son's office isn't far from here, let's say hi to him after shopping" she informed her. Leah jumps out in excitement, her actions startled Lola "I'm sorry ma, I am just happy to see him" she apologized and compose herself.

"It's fine my dear, I will discuss engagement with your mother, I can see you can't wait to be with my son" she smiled, and Leah blushed.

Lola was the happiest if the engagement happens, Madam Smith's 20%shares belong to Liam, which will give her power over Miranda, she is prepared to do anything for the engagement to take place, but she hasn't asked for Liam's opinion yet she is planning everything.

The bag was packed and paid for, and Leah and Lola left the mall for Smith&Co.

Liam stood up from his chair, he was alone in his office, and he began walking up and down he looked troubled, what could be troubling the CEO?

"Should I message her or not?" he asked himself. His mind is a mind that decides whether to sign a contract or not, making such decisions doesn't give him any trouble, within a twinkle of an eye, he would make the decision. Such a minor thing was messing up with his mind, he couldn't decide whether to message her or not.

"I don't think I should message her, she might feel too big of herself, she is nothing to me" he confused himself.

Liam felt the reason why he couldn't take her off his mind, was because it had been a while since he hooked up with any of his ladies. Alfred interrupted his thoughts by knocking on the door.

Alfred bowed "I have handover the documents to the Secretary," he said.

"Good," Liam said, he sat down. "Hook me up with one of my ladies tonight" he instructs.

"Hook up? aren't you following that lady around, what is he up to?" Alfred thought he looked at Liam who was working on his Laptop "You are full of mystery, I can never predict your next plan" he thought.

Lola and Leah arrived at the skyscraper building, she walks with pride, and Leah walked beside her future mother-in-law, the workers acknowledged their presence, they recognized Lola, and they all bowed and continue their work.

Lola ignored their greetings, she walks with Leah towards the elevator that leads to Liam's office, she knows no one dared to stop her from entering her son's office. Leah was more than excited, to see Liam's office.

Lola barged inside Liam's office without knocking, Liam raised his eyes to see who dare barge in his office without knocking, Alfred who was beside his boss, looked up.

"My dear, how works?" Lola asked with a proud smile, she enters the big office, and Leah followed her.

Liam looked displeased to see his mother. she also brought a stranger to his office "What are you doing here?" he asked coldly.

"I am here to check on my son," she said sweetly as she walked toward him.

"To check on me? when did that begin?" he asked coldly.f

Lola looked at her son "At least offer us to sit down, instead of bombarding me with questions" she scolded him. Leah was hiding behind Lola, she doesn't want to embarrass herself.

"Offer you a sit? does this look like a place of comfort, work is done here" he said coldly.

Alfred knew his boss won't offer them a sit because he doesn't care, he stepped forward "Please have your sit Madam Lola and Lady Frederick" He acted in place of his boss.

"Thank you, Alfred," Lola said, the two women sat on the white couch.

"What would you like to drink?" Alfred asked.

"Glass of juice is fine for me and my daughter-in-law," Lola said loud and clear for Liam to hear. Alfred didn't react to what she said, he bowed and take steps toward the office fridge to get the juice.

Liam heard his mother loud and clear, he didn't react, his focus was on the document he was reading.
