Felix said in a calm tone that didn't sound too intimidating but still quite strict. Anne paused and placed the tea cup back on the table, looking at Felix with a frown, then suddenly relaxing and giving a soft chuckle.
"Did br-...you find it out? Right…We are not siblings. So you now know?"
Anne asked to which Felix nodded, observing Anne.
So...she did know it.
Neither one talked again.
Anne kept her head down and pondered to say something but then held back. On the other side, Felix silently watched her, his mind completely blank and dumbfounded what to say.
He thought he was prepared enough but now he wished he should have taken more time before having this conversation. He suddenly felt upset.
The silence was so long. Through the silence, Anne took another gulp from her tea, then finally broke the silence again, realising she had things to explain.
"I am sorry."
Anne said, her voice slightly shaking.
"...For what?"
