Not Angry

Early in the morning, Lu Xueru had also found Lu Qingqiao. She had breakfast with her and Qin Xun in the suite. Her haggard face was full of self-blame as she looked at Lu Qingqiao's sad expression like she wanted to say something.

After breakfast, Lu Xueru opened her mouth carefully and said in a sobbing tone, "Sister, if you're angry, you can hit me or scold me. Please don't ignore me. We're family and friends. You won't abandon me, right? I know I was wrong. After this, I'll break up with Brother Sen and leave you. I won't disturb you."

"I told you yesterday. I don't want to say it a second time," Lu Qingqiao said as she watched her acting.

Lu Xueru wiped the tears squeezed out of her face and sniffled. "Thank you, Sister."

'It seemed like Lu Qingqiao honestly didn't like Brother Sen.'

'Or was she just pretending?'

Lu Xueru could not figure it out, so she could only probe further.

"Sister, can I go back with you in the same car later?"

"We're not going the same way," Lu Qingqiao replied.

Lu Xueru put on a pitiful look again. "Alright, I'll go back by myself. Goodbye, Sister. I won't disturb you anymore."

In the past, Lu Qingqiao would never have said such things.

So, she still cared about it, but she pretended not to care.

After Lu Xueru left her suite, she sent a message to Si Jingsen. 

[Brother Sen, my sister, seems to be very angry. I'm afraid she'll ignore me forever. What should I do?] 

[What should I do to make my sister love me again? I feel like I'm indeed an evil person.]

Si Jingsen quickly sent a message to comfort her.

Lu Qingqiao saw Qin Xun frowning at her and asked, "What do you want to say?"

Qin Xun grabbed his hair and said, "Aren't you angry?"

"There's no need to be angry." Lu Qingqiao chuckled.

Everything was under her control. Of course, she wasn't angry.

Looking at Lu Qingqiao, Qin Xun felt that it was good...that she was not angry.

On the way back, Qin Xun was playing games on his phone.

Lu Qingqiao, watching the global economic news, would occasionally turn her head to see him grinning happily, pouting unhappily, or grabbing his hair...

There were a lot of small movements, but he didn't make loud noises. He was very obedient.

Lu Qingqiao had something to do in the afternoon, so she first sent Qin Xun back to school.

When Qin Xun got out of the car with his bag, she said, "There's an auction next Friday night. Come with me."

"Alright." After she got out of the car, Qin Xun watched her car leave before turning around and entering the school.

As soon as he entered the school, he heard someone calling his name.

He turned around and saw that it was a male classmate called He Yu. He Yu went to him and said, "Qin Xun, I just saw you get out of that Rolls-Royce. Where are you working now? Introduce me to him. I also want to know rich people like him."

"It's from the Lu Corporation. If you want to know them, go ahead," Qin Xun put his hands in his pockets and said obediently.

Seeing Qin Xun walk in, He Yu chased him and continued. "Lu Corporation? How was that possible? We all know that you used to work part-time in a coffee shop and a convenience store. Did you recently visit the famous Bo Zun Club that only rich people can visit? You must have met rich people there."

"Tell me how you met her. Did you go out with someone these two days? I won't tell anyone."

The male student was persistent in trying to get something out of Qin Xun's mouth but was finally driven away when Qin Xun said, "Get lost."

Qin Xun lived in a three-person dormitory, and only one of his roommates was there. When the roommate saw him return, he quickly said, "Oh my god, what have you been doing these past two days? Look at He Yu, that bastard, spreading rumors on the school forum again. He said that you went to accompany rich people."

Qin Xun was speechless.
