The Holy Guardian

Seeing him speaking like that before the King, Grant shouted at him and said "How dare you to speak in front of the king without his permission".

He was going to say something more but Hugo stopped him and said "Let him talk".

Hearing his words Grant looked at him with shock and said "You shouldn't let this man's misbehavior go unpunished; you must punish him right now".

Hearing his words Hugo raised his hand and said "It's enough Grant, he belongs to the Church and we can't afford to lose their support at all so just shut up".

Hearing his words Grant shuts his mouth and says "You are allowed to talk, please continue".

Hearing his words Aboulas said "I am just here to tell you that we are going to do everything in our power to stop the disaster and the Church will always support the King to protect the Rose Kingdom" saying that he left from there without showing any respect.

Grant was holding back, he would have unleashed his special skill to finish him off for his misbehave but Hugo's words are holding him back.

Just after Aboulas left the room he looked at the Rose knight and nodded his head.

Getting the signal the Knight stepped up and said in a loud voice "The Goddess hasn't abandoned us and the person who will now enter the room is the proof of it, directly descanted from the heaven our new hero our new protector, the Holy Guardian Dai Itami will now grace us with his presence" saying that he lowered his head and said "Please welcome him by lowering your head".

Hearing his words everyone looked at the entrance, a man in a royal outfit stepped into the room and as soon as their eyes met with his they bowed down and there was a pin-drop silence everywhere. 

Entering the room he stopped for a second and looked around carefully, seeing everyone bowing down he smiled and started walking again with more confidence.

Walking to the throne he takes his seat beside the King and sitting down he raises his hand and says "It's okay everyone please raise your head".

Hearing his words everyone raised their head and looking at his brightening face they shouted "Welcome".

Listening to their words he smiled sweetly and said "Thank you so much, everyone". 

Just when a man was going to say something Hugo stopped him by saying "Let's continue the conference".

Looking at him Draies sipped into his drink and said to himself "Who the fuck is this man, how can they declare him the Holy guardian without any proof".

He wasn't satisfied with his presence so he was going to leave the place but that's when he looked at Yang Azu and sat back on his seat.

He can't let his father be ashamed cause of his personal feelings. Even though he doesn't accept Itami as a Holy Guardian but the people do and the people of this room see him as their only hope so going against him wouldn't be beneficial for the church.

If it were just about him and his opinion he would have left the room a long ago but now that he is aiming to get the seat of the Head Priest he has to be careful about the Church's interest, He should always priories Church's need and maintain a good relation with the Royal Family.

Thinking about all that he calms down and pays his attention to the conference. 

After the arrival of Itami, the conference started again. Looking at everyone again Hugo said "We have prepared an exclusive map for the groups that will participate in the special quest and besides that, you guys will get a magical weapon from the Royal Vault and we will also allow you guys to use the mana concrete.

Hearing the name of magical swords Jin gets excited and asks the king if he can take two from the vault.

Hearing his question Hugo replied "Yeah you are allowed to take two magical weapons but if u don't return it after the quest u will be punished.

"What if we break the swords in the battle," said Ciel with an idiot-looking smile. 

Hearing his question Hugo smiled and replied "We will overlook it but you have to give us an accurate report on it and there should be at least a witness" saying that he started explaining some rules that most of us understood when he first said it to us.

But it looks like he likes to repeat himself so we will just ignore him and will do whatever we want said Trivut with a devilish smile on her face.

After some time he finished his blabbering, meanwhile, Trivut and others were busy finishing their snacks.

They just finished a table full of snacks while Hugo was blabbering. 

Finishing his talk Hugo looked at them and made a disappointed face and looked at Itami, he was like half asleep in his chair.

Seeing it he understood that he had just talked for a long time so noticing that he was wasting time on explaining the already explained rules he stood up and said "So I hope that you guys understood everything even if you doubt anything just ask Grant he will explain you the details once again saying that he upholds his drink and cheers to the upcoming victory of the parties and gulping the drink he screamed good luck".

With that the conference ended and everyone left the room to roam around the castle. 

Meanwhile, Itami was taken to his room with the protection of the Rose Knights. Even though he doesn't need any protection, the Knights are here with him more like an ornament.

Returning to his room he jumped on his bed and started snoring he is tired as fuck, and he can barely keep his eyes open so he is going to sleep now.

He couldn't get any sleep yesterday maybe due to that he being that sleepy or maybe the mental pressure isn't letting him take any rest.

There are a lot of things going on right now even though he doesn't show it in front of everyone but the incidents have definitely taken a toll on his body.

Just when he was about to fall asleep he made an oath that he would get enough rest today and would be prepared for the special quest.

He wants to be in his best form in his first quest. There is no chance to get back, if he fails, the world will ridicule him and if he passes it will call him a hero and he knows it very well so he can't afford to get back.

Thinking that he finally sleeps.

On the other side returning from the conference Chris and the others are playing cards in Chris's room.

Chris is almost winning the match but that's when Trivut tries to cheat and gets caught by Lara.

When she caught her, Trivut made a lame excuse and said "I was just checking it so that means I am not cheating".

Hearing his words everyone just looked at him with an expressionless face and said "That was lame now focus on the game and this time please play fairly". 

Seeing everyone's faces she got annoyed and said "You guys are not fun at all I am leaving saying that she left the bed and jumped on the couch".

Seeing her pouting like that Gilbert left his cards on the bed and went near her.

Getting beside her he pulled her cheek and said "Don't act like a child".

Hearing his words she pouted again and said "No I will act like a child and now that I am acting like a child you guys are literally abusing me" saying that she picked a bottle of rum and started drinking directly from the bottle.

Gilbert pulls the bottle from her hand and says you are enough drunk so let's just call it a day and go to sleep.

Hearing his words she hugged him and said: "What are you saying idiot, I can still go".

Saying that she falls asleep right there and seeing it Gilbert says excuse us and leaves the room to throw her in the bed. 

Seeing it Lara looks at Chris with a sad look on her face and then sees Quinella smiling like that she mutters something and looks at her card and finds a joker in it. 

Seeing the Joker she laughs and says that Fate is also laughing at her but no worries I will definitely beat Fate saying that she looks at Chris with an edgy look (To be continued)
