Dong-Han's letter brings some misunderstanding

"Leader, do you have my pen? I couldn't find it on my table," asked Hyein, lifting her heel, pressing her toe against the floor, and peeking at her neat table.

"Ah, pen?"

Sun-Hwa browsed around her table and even checked the drawer. She then looked at her, spread an empty hand in front of her, and said, "Sorry, Hyein. I don't."

"Hyein, here is your pen!" Intern joi took a pen from under her table.

"Ah, my pen!" With a pleased expression on her face, she grabbed it so gently, like holding a flower.

And the very next second, an email slid into her view. She browsed and opened it. That was an informative file that Joi sent yesterday to the team without asking Sun-Hwa.

It says, "Need some edits and add some of the pictures to make it interesting."

He straightened her posture to look at Intern Joi, only to find she was swamped with writing an essay for the college weekend submission.

Letting out a haggard sigh, she opened the file in a Word document and began to edit it on her behalf, forgetting to take back the fallen paper, which she dropped accidentally.

A few hours later...

Sun-Hwa glanced at the right bottom of the computer screen and read that the time was 12:45 p.m.

"Lunch time!" She announced this while saving the file before closing it.

Then three interns left the department office, leaving Sun-Hwa and the boss alone in the office.

Immediately, a tingling sound rang inside his mind. He came out of his room and called Sun-Hwa before she left her table.

She stopped right there and raised an eyebrow at him. "What?" informally, she threw a rage through her words.

He came to her and pressed her shoulder down to make her sit on her chair back. As her butt thundered seat, the chair's wheel veered towards his feet, causing seated Sun-Hwa to face him.

She looked up at his face, leaning closer to her. Unannouncedly, blushes formed around her cheek, and she lowered her eyes when she glimpsed his scrutinising look scanning her face.

"It seems like it's getting better; how about I apply ointment now?" He asked, bracing her gloomy red dots. It sparked off her inner warmth more.

She lifted her hand and tenderly clutched his wrists before looking straight at his concerned face. "No thanks; I will do it at home." She stood up to leave.

"Okay," he said, disappointedly smiling as she walked out of the office.

The sky was filled with stars and the moon. It's time for dinner in Sun-Hwa's room.

She came out in shorts and a shirt. It was enough to spoil focused Dae-Hyeon in the blink of an eye.

As expected, he fixed his gaze on her fair-skinned thigh until she was seated in the dining chair. Even blind to notice her staring.

"Are you going to keep staring at my thigh, not going to serve food?" Asked Sun-Hwa.

He exhaled, pursed his lips, and switched his eyes to the prepared food. He then offered a bowl of rice and side dishes on her side of the table before he sat down and had his dinner.

After finishing dinner, she made her way to her room without even sparing a glance back at Dae-Hyeon, who was washing dishes.

'Since I'm the one who chases after you, you can be a rude woman,' he thought to himself. Keep washing dishes.

Sun-Hwa jumped sprawled on the bed, facing the ceiling. Just when she blinked at the ceiling-clinged shining lamp, Dong-Han's whisper voice echoed inside her mind, bringing back the memory of the piece of paper he granted her.

"Oh, sh*t!" she said, agitatedly sitting up, getting a hold of the phone before leaving her room.

"Where are you going with this outfit?" Asked Dae-Hyeon, rushed to her as she stopped, and glanced at her shorts and waist-exposing short shirt.

"What's wrong with this dress?" She outstared at him.

"Everything is wrong. Wait a minute!" He said this, hurrying inside the room. Sun-Hwa released breath from her air-balled mouth as if she didn't have the patience to wait.

He came back, carrying a long black leather coat. He stood in front of her, put it on her, and zipped it all the way up to her neck from the bottom.

"Now you're off to go!" he said, patting her head with a lovely smile.

She dodged his hand and hurried to leave the hotel room.

"One sec!" He shouted, coming running behind her.

She stopped speeding up her steps and turned to look at him.

"Let me join you," he said, showing the car key. "I know you are going to the office."

Quickly, her brows flew above in astonishment. "Ho-how," she stammered.

He dragged her along with him before she spilled the rest of the words, "You know about it?"

"It has a lot of reasons. Maybe you forgot something. Where else do you have to go far except the office?" His explanation reverberated inside the corridor while he was dragging her.

They arrived in front of the company in a car. She unfastened her seatbelt, and in a trice, she glimpsed him unfastening his seatbelt too. She clenched his hand and stopped.

"You stay here; I'll be back soon," she said as his uncertainty-spewing gaze looked at her.

"No, it will be dark inside. Let me accompany you," he continued to unfasten his

Without delay, she kissed his lips and kept them in position for a moment with closed eyes until shocked Dae-Hyeon's hand held her waist.

She wants the piece of paper from Dong-Han not to be known to Dae-Hyeon because she thinks Dong-Han must have a reason to reveal it to her in the first place instead of his boss and so-called friend, Dae-Hyeon.

To build faith, she obeyed his one slight suck on her lips and then leaned back in her seat. "I can stay here!" She asserted, getting out of the car once after judging his slow pace of blinks.

Sun-Hwa was firm in protecting the secret between Dong-Han and her.

She rushed to her table, splashing the phone flashlight under her chair, and located the piece of paper she dropped in the morning.

After getting a hold of it, she stood up, unfolded it hurriedly, and read inside her mind instead of spelling words, 'Your husband will soon experience puberty of the angel, which means he will own angel wings. That will bring some mood swings. He will even behave aggressively or more gently, and he will even behave in a childlike manner. Take care of him well. Don't take this as matterless. I have already experienced something on my side. I'll explain it when I meet you again. Take care of yourself too. Bye!'

She glimpsed the bottom right corner, which had a cartoon boy's smiley face drawn with Dong-Han's sign.

Dae-Hyeon sneaked to her side and voiced deep, "What's in that paper to grab your whole attention?"

She jerked crushed paper into her palm.

Assessing her stumbling pupils and slightly trembling lips and also sneaking at her laid-back hand, which had the paper, he instantly dragged her by the waist, pressed on his body, and clasped her backhand, which was tightly crushing the paper inside the palm.

"Let me see it!" He growled.

"I won't!" She tightened it further and embedded her forehead on his chest without being able to face his scowl.

"Don't awaken my devil side, Sun-Hwa. Open your palm!" He growled again. His voice went deeper than earlier.

He then pinched her backhand skin, causing it to open itself.

"Ah!" She looked up at him.

He snatched it from her slightly opened palm, arrested her whole body into his hug, and brought his hand together beneath her back shoulder to read it without her bother.

She turned her face only, gazing at his stretched left hand holding the paper while his right hand cuffed her wrists from it, reaching for the paper.

He crumbled it and threw it away as a frown took a place on his forehead in no time. Even though his whole body was firing inside, his free left hand cradled her backneck.

"What the heck is this? What's the secret you and Dong-Han keep from me? Hah? Why is he so protective of you recently?" He outraged.

"Watch your mouth, Dae-Hyeon! It holds some other unnecessary meaning too." She roared back.
