-' For the time being, the quantity branch would be the most valuable as it would speed my cultivation, I don't know how long I will be stuck in this realm, so choosing the control or quality branch would only prolong my time spent in the second level, but, if I'm thinking of maximizing for the future, the quality branch would be best.' Luckas tried to weigh all of the pros and cons of choosing each branch. ' The less risky one should be the control branch, it could help me cultivate and even improve my battle prowess.'

Luckas gaze stopped at the third aspect, the wide variety of bonuses it gave him was too tempting, he exhaled a deep breath and decided to choose the riskier plan, he looked at the four talents in the display, he would bet that they weren't locked to their path.

Luckas choose the control route, as he felt that it was the optimal branch now, he instantly confirmed the allocation of the point, Luckas stared intensely at his system interface as the first aspect shone with a bright light, as the light faded away Luckas selected the second aspect and confirmed it.

Luckas anxiety was through the roof as he prepared himself to use his third point, when he saw the light shining on the third aspect he instantly grinned, his intuition was right, the points weren't divided by paths.

-" Hahahahaha, this is actually incredible, thank god I decided to test it;" Luckas tried to select the fourth aspect but it was still locked. " So the second part of the tree is still locked, will the augments get better in the second part? I already gained so much from the first three so I shouldn't hurry too much."

Luckas now had a clear vision of how to use the system, he closed his eyes and laid down with a big smile.

-' I can cultivate my body to the eighth level, this means that I will have six extra points, if I save this one when I'm at the peak of the Qi Gathering realm this will be thirteen free points, should I save the extra ones to use deeper in the tree?' Luckas's mind raced as he began to strategize, with this information he was pretty confident of optimizing his talent allocation.

He decided to meditate to feel the effects of the augments, since selecting the third aspect he already sensed the changes inside him, he could feel the Qi around him much easier now.

He sat down in the lotus position and began practicing his breathing method, he was instantly surprised, the Qi followed through his meridians channels and quickly reached his dantian.

-" The augment bonus is 15%, so if I had a better body root the increase would be better? If I keep stacking those bonuses soon enough I will cultivate at a speed close to those with high grade one, I should really pick some aspects of the quantity branch."

At first, Luckas felt that his system wasn't that good, but after feeling its effect he knew that if he could build his talent tree perfectly his advantage would be enormous. He silently thanked the system in his heart, with such a cheat he had a better chance of succeeding in the cultivation world.

Luckas continued to cultivate, he track of time as he completed the twentieth circulation, the progress he in those few hours was comparable to three days cultivating. As he opened his eyes, he felt a foul odor coming from him.

-' So this is the impurities of my Qi? This never happened to me before." He observed his dantian and felt a stark difference, the Qi stored there shone with a bright light, it was clear as a clean lake.

-" The only thing that cant test right now is the Elemental Qi Control, in my current state it shouldn't take too long for me to reach the third level and open my elemental sea." Luckas stood up and clenched his fist, the Qi inside him gathered on it.

In the previous spars with Byrth, Luckas could barely coat his punch with QI as it required too much focus, but, now Luckas could gather the Qi wherever he wanted with just a simple thought.

Luckas finished testing his augments and decided to take a bath to clean himself, he was too smelly and he knew that he couldn't sleep like this, he noticed that his injuries were a lot better now, most of the bruises around his body had disappeared, and his shoulder wasn't hurting like before.

Luckas took his bath and headed to sleep, but, the excitation he felt was too much, only after hours staring at the ceiling did he fall asleep. He woke up feeling refreshed, with each breath he took power filled his body, this was the first time he felt like a true cultivator.

His vision was clearer, his movements faster and he felt like he could control every part of his body, Luckas was on cloud nine as he headed to the meeting tent.

-" Hey, is your shoulder better? You took quite the hit yesterday." Byrth was already there as he carried a stack of papers.

-" Hahaha, I'm fine." Luckas raised his right arm in circular motions trying to show Byrth that he wasn't injured.

-" That's nice to hear, looks like you're creating resistance to being beaten up, three weeks ago you would stay in bed the whole day after getting so beat up." Byrth was surprised, maybe Luckas was really becoming stronger after getting beat up almost every day.

-" Yea, I told you, getting used to pain is a good thing, you should ask Cyl to beat the hell out of you some time, it will help you build endurance too." Luckas joked as he sat down inside the tent.

-" I need to give a pass to your suggestion, not everyone is a masochist like you." Byrth smiled as he heard Luckas suggestion.

-" Oh, if you wait for a few more months I can do it for you. Maybe it's better if I'm the one beating you?"

-' Pretty confident for some that couldn't even walk yesterday."

Luckas and Byrth kept talking till Alan entered the room, the mood suddenly dropped, Byrth and Luckas could feel that Alan wasn't too fond of them, while he wasn't so confrontational compared to the first meeting, the duo could still feel displeasure from his gaze.
