“Yoo-Mi?”
I woke up feeling disappointed that the other side of the bed was empty. Where did she go?
She left the room without waiting for me to wake up. This is the first time she’s not here beside me. I would always love us to wake up together in the morning, cuddle while talking about plans, then make love in the shower.
I exhaled heavily and sat up, leaning my back against the headboard. I looked for her phone on the bedside table but it’s not there, only the gun was left.
She mentioned to me last night that her phone had been drained from battery. She might have gone to ask for a charger in the receptionist, but it’s too dangerous for her to leave the room. She should have called them and asked for a charger.
I stood up from the bed and put on my clothes immediately. I grabbed the gun and slid it in my waist, I could use it in case of emergency.
