Advance Realm Being

At a certain distance, Von can see the 50-meter tall clock tower in the center of the city, and on its side, which is only meters away from the tower, is the City Hall of Penia City. It's where the city's leaders and officials hold office. And 500 meters left of it is where the Penia Dark Organization Branch is situated.

Von can see this view inside the carriage, which is pulled by two brown-colored Norse, an animal that failed in its evolution. He rides this Norse-drawn carriage starting from his home and continuing to the dark organization building. 

He can also see in the distance the 100-meter tall metal wall that surrounds the whole city. The people here call it the Penia Cage.

Penia means poverty in the ancient language of humans, and Cage means prison, so it literally means "poverty prison."

Von knows this much information because Elder Liam told him to. He wouldn't even know this important knowledge if not for the old man. 

As a resident of Penia City, Von always wondered why the people called it Penia Cage. He only thinks it is because of the wall surrounding it, and he also didn't know about the origin or meaning of the word "Penia," from which the city's name is derived.

But now Von can only sigh for his ignorance. Knowing it really made him want to inquire more, but the old man said that was all his knowledge about this city, which Von did not believe.

The carriage slowly stops at the unsophisticated building of the organization.

Because of the fast speed of the Norse, it can cover a distance of 30 kilometers in a short period of time. If Von's calculation serves him right, it's only been twelve minutes since he rode the carriage.

Von took out a silver-colored pocket watch. The long hand of the watch was almost at the three digits on the dial.

Von breathed a sigh of relief. He almost couldn't make it to the designated time for the quest.

"How much are the ride fees?" He asked the coachman when he stepped outside of the metal carriage. 

"It's 30 inferior energy stones, sir." The coachman said

Von took out a handful of small pebbles of rock from his sock bag, which was tied at his waist. These small pebbles were the energy stones. 

The energy stones were the currency they used in the city. These energy stones have a bean-like size and they radiate weak energy. 

After Von paid for his fare, he gazed at the front of the building, which gathered more or less a hundred people.

'They must be the people who accepted the quest.' Von inwardly thought.

There is a large free space in front of the building which they use to gather the people who are participating in the quest. According to the dark organization's management, the request for a subject for experimentation comes from the main family of the Satan Family, which is the ruling family on the Eastern Pluton Continent.So a lot of people trust that this experiment will be a success.

Von walks through the crowd, unconcerned about the glare in the eyes of those around him. Their eyes seemed to be filled with contempt, but he didn't mind.

But before Von can get away from these people, he is stopped by an associate.

"Look who's arrived! The freak! "

Von creases his brow, annoyed by the group's sudden appearance. He recognized them because they were always stuck together.

Three people are standing in front of Von. The person who said the words was a big and fat man who was in the middle, appearing to be a superior, and beside him were two bulky men who seemed to be his bodyguards. They appear to be the typical school bullies Von has read about in some of the old man's books.

William called him a freak because of his unusual red eyes. He is the only person who finds his eyes ominous. 'I always wondered why this fatty called me a freak every time. It seemed like he had some knowledge about my circumstances, ' Von thought, but dismissed it afterward, because if this fatty really knew about the Eye of Misfortune, he would not waste his time on some unnecessary action. He can just tell everyone about it and make Von the worst man in everyone's eyes.

"Is that William, the City Lord's only son?"

"What exactly is he doing here?" He isn't a member of the organization. "

"Of course, he's here for the artificial energy core; his father, the City Lord, has a lot of connections within the city, so he can get a special privilege."

"However, from what I understand, they aren't close because he grew up without developing an energy core."

The people began to murmur, which sounded like bees to Von's ears. He took a look around him. Von fixed his cold gaze on them. Then he adjusted his gaze to the chubby man, who appeared to be caring for a plastic bag container containing various types of biscuits.

"What do you want from me, William?" Von grinned. "Do you want to taste my precious kick again?" He appears to be making fun of the fat man.

"Y-you?! Are you really not afraid of me? My father is the City Lord! " The fat on the chubby man's face and body shakes in anger, and crumbs from the biscuits he ate pour out of his mouth profusely. It is certainly a sight to behold.

William had always been antagonistic towards Von in any way he could, whether physically, mentally, or emotionally, since he was a child. He will only do it to satisfy himself. Von had no idea what to make of this because he had not offended him in any way.

But, because Von is not the type to stand in while being as someone's punching bag, he fights William fearlessly, despite knowing he is the City Lord's son.

Despite the fact that this scenario kept repeating itself, it appeared that the City Lord was unconcerned about a child's fight.

So it must be true that his father dislikes him. Then it would also imply that he is just spewing empty words.

So Von didn't care about this extra...

"Why should I be afraid of you, a spoiled brat?"

"You!—

"Yes, please don't bother me; I still have things to do!" Von interrupted, attempting to avoid the fat man. He didn't want to get into a fight with these people.

"Wait, what's that?"

People begin to shout and gasp in amazement as Von begins to walk away. They appeared to be gazing up at the cloudy blue sky.

So did Von.

Three unidentified objects are approaching.

They can see a medium-sized ship floating 200 meters above the ground. Its massive shadows seemed to envelop the entire area in which they stood.

Each ship was descending slowly, but the people were alarmed because they had no idea what they were seeing.

While descending, the ship makes a whirring sound. Von can now see the unknown objects clearly.

'It must be the ship artifact mentioned by Elder Liam. ' Von reflected as he examined the magnificent ship

The three ships looked exactly like the ships that transport goods and other products delivered by sea. The only distinguishing features of the ship were the two visible wings on either side and the fact that it was made of unknown metal.

The wind flows in the area became chaotic as the ships began to descend, and after a few seconds, they came to a stop 50 meters above ground.

Following that, it appeared that someone jumped from the deck of the three grand ship. When they get close to the ground, their body begins to float.

They come to a halt in the air, maintaining an elegant posture. These three high-ranking officials are dressed in white long lab gowns.

"Woah!"

"They're are flying!"

"Is that an Advance Realm Being skill?"

The people in the area begin to scream in surprise at the appearance of the three Advance Realm Beings.

There is only one advanced realm being within Penia City, and it is the branch leader of the Dark Organization. However, the people present did not witness the greatness of a person who attained that power.

Now, seeing these three powerful individuals made the people believe that they made the correct decision to participate.

People's faces show joy and anticipation, as well as fear of these Advance Realm Beings, who appear to have an amazing background that they can't fathom.

Von looks at them with bated breath. He put his right hand on his heart, attempting to feel the power within him. But it appeared that the power was dormant, preventing Von from making a wish.

'If I could only wish to be born into a good and powerful family and to be born with high-level talents. How nice that would be...' Von thought, wondering what would happen if he didn't have the curse of God and was born as an evolved human.

"SILENCE"

A powerful and loud old voice echoed throughout the entire area.
