The Original System Makes an appearance

"Good luck." The Mysterious Being says before disappearing.

~Congratulations, You completed your quest once again. You'll be given a new one shortly.

All of this was really strange, I didn't really know how to react to it all yet.

"Is everything okay Sevy?" Rika asks while resting her hand on my shoulder.

"Yeah, I just don't know how to react to the information I was given yet." I answer while looking down at the ground.

I don't expect any of the gates to be easy but I do wonder what the damn thing meant. The information was only good for the location of the gate, the quests didn't really give me much.

"We can talk more about that later, we should get going." Kallista suggests while distant footsteps could be heard.

"Yeah let's go." I agree with her as we all begin to run in the opposite direction.

There was no point in wasting time fighting right now since we had a lot of ground to cover for the time being. Finding this second gate, doing these other quests, it's a lot.

But as we're running I get an indicator that pops up in front of me.

"A new quest is available, would you like to view it?"

Yes <---

No

~Quest, Find the Strange girl. Located Near the Old Menia Café. Reward: A potential friend.

I know where that is but is it really worth the cost right now? Shit, I need to complete these Quests to keep going forward though.

"We got a new location to go to, follow me." I say while leading the way.

So we avoided mobs and system users for the time being while making our way over to the Menia Café. I haven't been there since I was little so it'll definitely be nice to live through a childhood memory again.

"So you just do what you're told?" Kallista asks while walking besides me.

"This system has not done me wrong yet so yes." I answer honestly.

"Interesting." Kallista says while making a mental note.

I believe this system until it does something to make me think otherwise. I've got faith in it.

But after a good bit of walking we finally began to reach the area that the Menia Café was located in. The place was surrounded by buildings that had been abandoned, dead bodies were also on the streets, but luckily no mobs.

That was the only good sign that we were given so far but this place doesn't seem like it has any life to it at all. I'm expected to meet someone here though.

"You two wait outside the cafè, I won't be long." I say while standing at the door.

I'd rather have them on guard just in case something shows up. This place is way too quiet for no one to be around, not even in the shadows.

There's got to be some sort of ambush planned, or maybe I'm wrong and this is just me being stupid.

But as I entered the café I could see someone in the corner of the room sitting. They were wearing these bright white colored robes and had their face covered by a hood.

"Hello?" I say quietly while approaching slowly.

They don't seem like an enemy but what's odd is the fact that they haven't said anything yet. Nothing about me entering the building, nothing.

After a few more steps I had reached the table and then I noticed the person slowly looking up at me.

"Ah, Sevarian." Said a soft voice as her face was revealed.

Sitting before me was yet another beautiful girl, white hair that drifted right out of her hood, purple eyes, and a look of sadness on her face.

"Who are you?" I question while taking a seat in front of her.

"My name is Elizabeth, I was the one helping you through your system before." She answers while looking towards the window.

"How are you here then?" I ask with curiosity in my voice.

"I abandoned the system to come help you here. It was like a prison there Sevarian." Elizabeth responds with sadness in her voice.

I guess even the systems have downsides to them but wouldn't that mean that the person or thing helping now is a prisoner too? Shit, I really want to stop these guys now.

"I see. That sounds terrible." I say while trying to think.

"You have some strong friends out there waiting, but would it be alright for me to join you?" Elizabeth asks while staring at me.

"Yes you can join me." I respond without any hesitation.

I won't let her suffer as a prisoner any longer but now I need to speed this along even more. Lia is a prisoner too, unless the circumstances are different for each person behind the systems?

"Well, I'll follow behind you." Elizabeth says while standing up from the chair.

Her clothes were nothing like the clothes we had in this world, it seemed to have this radiance to it that made it brighter. I can only wonder if she's truly human or not.

There's a lot that I have yet to learn about, such as the different beings behind this whole apocalypse.

I'll have to do my best to work with what I got, but for now my team is only getting stronger.

"Alright yeah, let's get going." I reply while standing up and leading the way.

We went back towards the door and went outside. Both Kallista and Rika were there waiting patiently for us.

Nothing seems to have happened but I do have a strange feeling since coming out here. Is someone coming?

"It seems my quests just won't change. It's so damn annoying Sevarian." A familiar voice says as a figure starts walking towards us in the distance.

I swear I definitely know that voice but where the hell do I know it from? It's not Jion or that other watcher, so who is it?

"Show yourself!" I shout while equipping my sword.
