Nation Wide Battles

Not long after the Krueger Family had their battles in Havine, the Yuzuro Family were going up against a large group of Seraphs with the help of the Spair and the fifth Family, the Hotodari Family.

Like the Krueger Family, they had also sent the students into battle with the Seraphs. The Seraphs numbered more than five hundred but these ones barely seemed to carry weapons except for a few high ranking officials. And only about seventy of them actually had wings or were the only ones using them to fly.

"Rock Pummel!" A tall, brown haired girl said as she released a barrage of large rocks from her fists, towards a Seraph.

"Water Slash!" A shorter aqua blue haired girl next to her blasted concentrated water towards another Seraph.

But Kasami and Raine's attacks (respectively) weren't strong enough to knock them down.

[Kasami: Stage▪︎4]

[Raine: Stage▪︎4]

While the Seraph Soldiers in front of them were both at Stage 8.

The two Seraphs however didn't just wait around to be hit but instead tried to move but they couldn't.

"Hey! Why can't I move."

The both of them looked at their feet to see a strong mud like substance over them but what was even more frightening was that the mud seemed to have a pair of eyes.

"What is this thing?!!" They both said, clearly frightened. It was actually Zuro performing a transformation spell.

When Kasami and Raine tried to attack, one of the Seraphs created a forcefield which easily stopped the attack based on their differences in power.

"Hiyaa!!" Staria punched one of them from behind in the head, knocking them unconscious as they weren't wearing helmets.

The other Seraph finally managed to break out of the mud using a Spell that increased their strength, making Zuro to deactivate his Spell and cause him to return to human er Caster form.

"Light and Heavy Casting: Weightlessness." A blue ball of magic left a female's hand and hit a nearby large tree, causing it to float.

Akina picked up the floating tree and slammed it against his head. Just as she used it to hit his head, it regained it's weight and thus gave the Seraph a large bump on his head.

This of course knocked him completely unconscious.

"Yeah!" Akina and Staria high fived each other and after realizing what they did, they turned away from each other.

"Well, you didn't hold me back this time."

"And you weren't completely useless." Akina replied.

"More are coming." The others wondered where this calm voice came from and they saw it had originated from Kuro. Even when they were training together and in the same room back at one of the Spair Family's bases, he didn't talk once.

"I suggest we don't just stay here and wait to come. It leaves us at a disadvantage. Raine, Staria, you two come with me. I need your help, if some slip past us, Kasami and Akina, I need you guys to take care of them."

The five of them were currently protecting a group of injured students numbering about ten. Although some team leaders might have been annoyed when a member of their team was giving them orders, Kasami was more considerate so she listened to Zuro.

Zuro suddenly casted a Spell.

"Transformation Casting: Body Manipulation, Two Fold."

Suddenly, wings began to form from his back and at the same time, two longer pair of hands also appeared from his ribs and grabbed on to Staria and Raine.

Zuro began flying towards the horde of soldiers coming in their direction.

"Fake Slice!"

"Water Slash!"

Staria and Raine shot their attacks down towards the soldiers but they didn't seem to be slowing them down in the slightest, only leaving three or four soldiers on the ground for a while before they quickly recovered and got back up.

"This isn't working. Mime Casting: Fake Wall!!"

An invisible barrier of magic appeared behind them to block them off if they managed to go past them.

As they thought they finally stopped their advance, a group of Seraphs shot off a blast of magic from their wands and

*Boom

After the thunderous sound, the Fake Wall created by Staria had collapsed.

"Oh, no!" The three Casters exclaimed.

Soon after, Seraphs began to head towards their direction.

Akina just exercised her fingers while Kasami's hands began to glow.

Kasami placed her hand on the ground and her Charm began to glow and a gem opened.

"This spell is even better than what I wanted to use. Akina! Get Ready!"

Kasami adjusted her body and kneeled on the ground then she placed both her hands and said.

"Earth Casting: Seismic Uprise!"

Large mounds of earth in various shapes began to appear and float in the air.

"Light and Heavy Casting: Weightlessnes!"

Akina released blue balls of magic from her hands and hit all the rocks that were floating in the air.

The rocks then became much easier for Kasami to lift. Kasami got up and began to aim the rocks towards the Seraphs.

Akina tried to cast another spell but then her breathing suddenly became unbalanced and she was inhaling and exhaling.

'It must be the work of a Seraph or maybe I'm just tired from using too many Spells consecutively. Well, whatever it is. I still have to cast the Spell."

Akina found her footing and got up.

"Increased Power."

The mounds of rocks began to glow red and blue and they suddenly became bigger but weren't straining Kasami's body.

"Ha!!" Kasami let go and the rocks began to fall down on the Seraphs, hurting some and keeping them on the ground.

But, the bulk of them were still heading towards them, that was until...

"Plant Casting: Vine Trap."

Large vines began to spring out of the ground and tied around the Seraphs, stopping their advance.

When they looked up, they saw a captain from the Yuzuro Family judging by their armor and weapon.

As the captain appeared, Raine, Staria and Zuro also landed on the ground and regrouped with them.

"Ahh. That was rather straining." Zuro deactivated his Spell and his body reverted back to normal.

"You guys can go now. The soldiers can take care of it." A feminine voice came from the Captain and they all nodded and followed suit.
