My Caster Academia

They finally arrived at the Academy and Arina knew it was grand as they said.

They first thing that greeted them was a large field of perfectly kept grass that stretched for miles which made the area of the school feel very large even though it was meant to only house few students, not even up to a hundred of them and several teachers. Along the field where a few small white statues of several people, numbering five which gave off an air of authority and respect even though they were not alive.

"Oh, I know them." Arina whispered to herself as she touched the glass window of the bus in front of her.

Aside from the main building where teaching took place which was the most perfected, there were three seperate buildings apart from it and they were mostly constructed the same.

They used only the best of building materials to form the wide mostly white with green tinted window buildings. There wasn't much apart from the beautiful designs around the entrance of said buildings which had pristine railings and paved stairs for the students to walk upon before they got to the double doors.

The farthest one on the left was known as Horiku's dormitory while the closest one next to it was named Monji's dormitory, Arina heard the people who had siblings in the prestigious school whisper among themselves. Those were the dorms the First Years would be split up into.

The last one was a bit bigger than the others and being the last dorm, she expected that it would be bigger in order to house all the Second Years but the school expected some students to be unable to meet their expectations at the end of their First Year and would therefore be let go.

The last one was known as Yamada's dormitory. There was also a small field in front of it that looked kind of like a football pitch because there was seating surrounding it.

Then finally, the main building. The building was similar to a victorian style castle with a much more modern twist and glow to it that gave it an aura of magic and scientific advancement in someway. The walls were royal purple on the exterior with small designs of gold here and there. There were also towers extending from the top that were about eight in number.

According to the subtle snooping she was doing, Arina was informed that those were the classes for each set of students.

"I can't wait to get inside." The previous fear of this exciting adventure to discover herself had settled within just a bit. And just like clockwork, the doors opened and the students came rushing out. Arina wasn't going to run with them like a barbarian so decided to wait until it was sane to move.

"Wait, how? I never lose my luggage." Arina searched around the bus while Serena just looked at her confused, her bag had also vanished.

"Uh, what are you looking for, Arina?" She asked and she quickly got her reply. "Oh, it's fine. The-"

"All luggage have been transported to a safe locating within the Academy." The bus driver that was waiting outside spoke. "You may now come down."

"Yeah, what he said?" The two girls got off the bus and caught up to the rest of the candidates as they stepped into the main building for the first time. They had no idea how difficult the journey ahead was going to be.

As they stepped in, they could immediately feel how large the main hall was as other students had other arrived in other buses and theirs seemed to have been the last one to have gotten there.

"Whoa!" The hall was golden on the inside with white lighting on the inside and a stage at the very front which behind said stage was a grand staircase that probably led to the many classes in the towers above. There were also closed doors to the left and to the right which led to many different areas but to find out what was within them was not their main concern for the day.

Their main concern was getting successfully enrolled into this titan of a school.

Everyone gathered before the stage, about 150 or so teenagers.

'So much teenagers in one room. It almost feels illegal with this much hormones.' Arina thought to herself, giggling on the outside and Serena turned to her with a perplexed look, causing her to be embarrassed yet again. She had a knack for doing this.

Anyway, the stage lit up and all the students paid keen attention instead of murmuring among each other because they assumed they would be some kind of penalty for doing so and none of them were thick enough to try it. So nobody talked to remain on the safe side.

Out from nowhere else but the stage, a carnivorous plant seemingly spawned in its centre and began to grow larger until it opened its large mouth part and out from it came a woman.

But she wasn't just any woman. She had green hair folded very professionally into a bun and wore a purple pant suit and thin framed glasses that didn't look like she needed them to aid her vision. Her eyes screamed authority as any sliver of noise from the crowd immediately halted. She was also very easy on the eyes because she was in her mid to late twenties and due to the fact that she was just made to be beautiful.

"Hello, new students although you're not students yet." Her voice projected through the entire hall with no problem at all even without a microphone. "I'm your headmistress. Most of you may know me as Ririka Yuzuro. Please look to the left corner where you will see a booth to fill in some necessary paperwork."

"And arrange yourselves in a line starting from the closest to the stage to the farthest." She added and just as she came, disappeared from the stage which left everyone murmuring as they filed themselves into a queue.

"I know her. She's one of the Great Five, right? Ririka Yuzuro, Leader of the Yuzuro Family, right?" She asked her newly found friend who nodded.

"I can't believe she's going to be our headmistress. We should be on our best behaviour. She isn't known for her leniency."

"You're right. We should." Arina replied as they both attempted to get positions in the queue that had speedily been formed.

After about an hour, all of them had gotten their paperwork and were quick with filling them. It had basic questions such as; name, age, gender, casting trait, et cetera. They returned them back to the booth and were then taken through the castle umm... academy for a tour and Arina was excited.

They passed through one of the doors that they didn't even know existed under the grand staircase. There, they laid sight on frames of great figures that had led to the creation of the school as well as a special section for impactful students who actually made a big difference in the school and there was an entire wall dedicated to them.

"Whoa! This could be us someday, right, dude?" A boy with fiery red hair asked a boy with opposing snow white hair who just nodded as the group continued moving along. They arrived at an inside garden which a girl in the group in particular was interested.

As they moved through corridors, Arina noticed something the others didn't seem to take note of.

'There's a lot of empty walls with faint imprint that there were doors on them a long time ago. Is it possible that there are hidden rooms in the Academy that they don't wish to show us? Or are there some even they aren't aware of?' As she thought about the possibility while closely inspecting each wall, she didn't even know that she had slightly strayed from the group being led by an academy official.

Serena had walked for a while and then noticed her friend was not by her side and looked around for her until finally seeing her behind, "Come on, Arina."

"Oh, sorry. Got a bit distracted." She dashed off to meet up with the group. 'Probably not. Too much social media.' She thought.

They arrived at the library which looked by far the larges. The walls looked like they were made of crystal but it was actually a shiny kind of marble and not a single one of the bookshelves were out of shape and the books were in top condition.

"Wow! This must be heaven for you." Arina nudged Serena in the shoulder but she was too distracted by the sheer size of the books, having to wipe her glasses for a second as she almost thought she was hallucinating.

"This library is just a place for students to replace their books in case they have lost one or have gotten it damaged. The real, extensive libraries are in each of your dorms." The guide revealed which made the bespectacled girl moan in disappointment.

"Of course."

They had showed them other rooms but not as interesting as the first few and after being given a historical lecture that bored most of them to death- including Serena who already had extensive knowledge-, they were taken to a waiting room in one of the towers, one which was not occupied by a class.

The room was pretty simple. Serena and Arina picked the same room where there were two big chairs and yellow walls. That was it.

Arina and Serena plopped on the somewhat relaxing chair as they massaged their temples, having received so much information from the guide that they were mentally exhausted.

"The tour was pretty good at the beginning..."

"Then it got replaced with high-class boredom." Arina finished her sentence and that's when they heard a sound that instinctively made them both stand.

The door opened and a girl rushed in to sit down followed by another, a boy who sat on his own and paid no heed to them. He looked pretty emo, he had jet black straight hair with powerful red eyes, sporting a black jacket with a purple shirt within and black trousers to match. He had fairly darker skin but no make up around his eyes like the typical goth neither did he have piercings. He just minded his own business and pretty pretentiously too.

The girl who had rushed in on the other hand had light blue hair in twin braids and green eyes. She wore a small purple shirt with another blue shirt below it with dark red trousers and white shoes. She had chocolate colored skin and she just screamed imaginative with her cross bag that was shaped like a blue kitty.

The room was silent for a second and it proved too much for the colorful girl who stood up, walked to the duo and brought her hand out, "Hi! I'm Luz, Luz Umibe. I'm a Picture Caster, or Color Caster, it's interchangeable." She smiled with cute dimples.

The girls were a bit stunned by this but smiled at how enthusiastic and friendly she was and introduced themselves as well.

"Well, I'm Serena Akanabe. I'm a Mech Caster."

"I'm Arina Uzukire. I'm a Light Caster i guess and it's very cool to meet you." Arina went on with her introduction and the less than social black themed boy scoffed like they were being childish which she was annoyed by.

"And who are you?" Arina asked with a bit of anger in her tone.

He stood up from the chair, his arms in his pocket without a hint of nervousness and no expression on his face. He walked up to Arina, a bit too close which made her blush as she noticed how handsome he was up close, "The name's Yuri Gakuyami." He took a quick glance at her as if measuring her worth.

"You look weak."

He spoke calmly and walked back to his seat, feeling nothing whatsoever. Arina on the other hand had gotten slightly angry with what he had said and walked up to him with the intention of hitting him but then they heard something.

It came from a speaker.

"All new students. Please stand by for teleportation."

"Tele-what?!" They exclaimed and even Yuri's expression changed to one of concern. A bright light came from above and illuminated the entire room until they had all been teleported.
