Friends Reunited in Battle

Somewhere on the battlefield, a spiky red haired boy was faced against a soldier.

The soldier shot out a blast of fire with both of his arms but the red haired boy ducked and with his knees on the floor, he casted a spell.

"Fire Casting: Flame Chain." Of course this person was Ayato. After saying those words, a solid chain made of fire was shot out from his arms. It grabbed onto the soldier's legs.

"I'm sorry about this but I need to help my country." Ayato gripped on the chain and dragged back, the force was too much for the soldier and he didn't have any armor on his legs. Once Ayato dragged back, his leg was detached from his body and was thrown off in the distance, leaving him with one leg.

The sheer pain from losing a leg caused him to be knocked unconscious.

After falling to the ground, a boy with snow white hair walked up to the soldier.

"Now to make sure you can't get up." Kuro said silently as he placed his hand above the man and slowly, ice started to leave his palms and covered around the man.

Ayato and Kuro had been seperated from the rest of the group and had been watching each other's backs, supporting the other when they needed help.

Meanwhile, Yuri was being chased by three soldiers constantly shooting blasts of magic from their weapons. All three of them wielded spears while the one in the middle had a black shield.

"Shadow Casting.." Yuri turned around abruptly, leaving skid marks on the ground, "Black Spear."

A long spear made of shadows appeared in his hand. He threw it towards them but the man in the middle raised up his shield and it easily blocked it.

They then drew their spears closer together and began to charge a large amount of blue magic, creating a blue ball of magic at the spears' tips.

"Ha!" They blasted out simultaneously.

Yuri seeing this, folded his arms together trying to stop it but he didn't have to. When he opened his eyes again, he saw a sword made of ice had slashed through the attack.

Yuri seeing this remembered only one person able to perform a spell like that.

"Kuro?!" Yuri looked behind him and his guess was right. Ayato and Kuro were standing right behind him.

"Yuri!!" Ayato forgot everything and ran to embrace his friend but Yuri used his hand to grab his face and stopped him from moving closer.

Two spears were thrusted towards them but Yuri activated Dark Cloak and it just passed through them.

"Did you forget that this is a battle, Flameball?" Yuri asked as he faced one of the spear users. Yuri looked at Kuro and Ayato fighting with him and slightly smiled and a few words escaped his mouth that none of them heard.

"I missed you two."

At the same time, Arina was facing against the flying Seraphs head on with the aid of her Light Board to help her hover in the air.

A Seraph threw a fist at her but Arina stepped over to the side, grabbed her arm and punched her away with her Halo Fists.

Two other Seraphs then with their wands, blasted rocks towards her but Arina faced them head on and used her fists to break them one after the other.

Arina quickly noticed the rocks just kept coming so when the next rock was blasted towards her, she grabbed it and threw it out, hitting the other two Seraphs.

At the very back, the woman who had been ordering the flying Seraphs had noticed Arina.

When seeing her defeat two more of her soldiers, the woman gritted her teeth.

She pulled out her wand and aimed carefully, making sure not to hit any of her soldiers.

"Bye bye." She smiled and a blast of concentrated magic was released from her wand.

Arina couldn't see it coming but luckily she didn't need to since two other people had saw the attack and were already acting.

"Arina!" She heard two voices shout.

Serena quickly got on Luz' staff and arrived by Arina's side.

"Mech Casting: Protective Chamber." Serena jumped in front of Arina and casted a spell. Soon after, blue magic encircled around them and stopped the attack but soon after, the spell collapsed.

"It's.. so strong." Serena said, shocked.

Luz looked over at the woman who had shot the attack and before the woman could react, it was already too late.

"Picture Casting: Past Encounter." Luz blasted except this time it was thinner and more concentrated. She even used the staff's magic aspect to make it move even faster.

It eventually closed the distance and hit the woman, piercing through her armor. With an angry face, she flew towards them but then a blast of fire had hit her and went right through her, killing her and causing her to fall on the ground.

When they looked down, they saw it was Sergeant Nikk who had used his special Stage 10 axe. It made his fire stronger and gave it a more purple color.

"You girls should fall back and help the others. We'll take care of this." Nikk said with a few soldiers behind them.

"Yes Sir!" They said and flew off on Luz' staff.

As they flew, Arina just had to say, "Thanks girls."

"No problem." Serena and Luz replied with smiles on their face.

Ayato casted his Burn Shield and a shield of flames appeared in his hand that protected them and blocked their opponents attacks while Kuro and Yuri shot their own attacks from it.

'Thanks guys.' Yuri said in his head.

He then looked over in another direction and noticed that someone was in trouble.

'Uhh. I have to help him." Yuri said a bit hesitantly and left Kuro and Ayato.
