Chapter 42 Keith\'s Shock
Keith shouts to the Bus operator to stop. As I was a bit in a daze, I didn’t notice what was happening to my surroundings until an ambulance came out of nowhere and escorted me inside the back of their vehicle. My heart paced as I worried about the life inside of me, which could be in danger because of the state I was in.
I breathed in out.
Keith nervously say, “Is it food poisoning? Did you eat something bad earlier?”
This is bad, if Keith comes with me, he’ll discover my secret. But how can I drive him away in my state?
In the end, I couldn’t convince him to leave me alone, even when I tried to scare him or beg him to stay out of my business while we rode our way to the hospital, he still accompanied me. When we arrived, I couldn’t help but fear for the worst as I lay down on the hospital bed.
“Keith… promise me another thing.” I mumble, holding the pain inside my belly.
“What’s with you? You’re talking like you’re dying. Don’t be like that.”
