Chapter Four Hundred and Nineteen

Anna POV

I noticed that Melvin always space out since the day he came back from his get-together with his friends, it's obvious that his friend's discussion got to him and now it is eating him up. I know how much he loves kids but it's unfortunate that I don't want to give birth to those little things if that is what will make him happy and stop feeling down, then I will give him kids as much as he wants. First I need to meet with Steve and discuss some of my plans with him cause there is no way I am going to tell him everything I plan to do. After all, I don't know how far he is willing to go to achieve what he wants. He might not want to go to extreme lengths to achieve what he wants, he is greedy and ambitious but I know under that tough exterior is a coward.

I told Melvin that I am going to order a new set of drinks seeing that we are out of stock, he did not question me luckily I convinced him that I am a changed person, and if not he will be throwing a series of questions at me. I left the casino and drove straight to the bungalow Steve bought where his underlings are staying, this is one of the reasons why I want to partner with him cause his money will make things to be easy for me. I will have everything I need and it will make this whole thing go smoothly, I arrived at the bungalow and Steve's men are already stationed there, and I noticed that their number is higher than they were the last time they were here. They all seem alerted the moment they saw my car approaching but it seem like someone said something to them and they relaxed and open the gate for me to enter. I stepped out of the car and looked around and I must say that it look more beautiful than looking at it from the outside.

Welcome Mrs Black, please this way, the boss is waiting for you, one of Steve's men approached me and gestured for me to walk in. I started walking with him to see his boss AKA Steve, I entered inside and saw Steve seated on a couch and for a place that is harbouring criminals it looks quite homely. Nice place you got here Mr Vincent, I said to him while smiling at him cause I am impressed with the whole setting. Oh please Anna, I thought we have pass the stage of being formal around each other, he said smiling back at me. Sorry, it has become a habit of mine, so how was your journey? I asked him, it's not like I am interested in his journey but I don't want to be on his bad side I still need him. Nothing special about it, so tell me how do you see my security teams and my hideout? He asked me, I can see the pride swirling around in his eyes, he must desperately need a compliment and that is what he is going to get from, I am here to flatter the shit out of him. 

Pretending is one of my specialities. I must say that they are fit for what I have in mind and I can't wait to work with them, I hope they have the needed quality cause to me looks is not all that matters and as for the hideout It is quite impressive, am sure that it will be the last place the force will suspect that is harbouring criminals, I answered him. He smiled at me and started talking. I like your sincerity and I can assure you that they are capable of any duty you assign to them, He assured me, I nodded my head in acceptance of what he is saying. Okay, I have heard you and to our plan, Is there any vacancy in Vincent Corporation? I mean you know the company more than me and for someone that wants to have control over the company, I am certain that you have people inside there and they are giving you feedback, I asked him. I must confess you are underestimated, you are one hell of a smart lady and yes, I have my people inside there, as for vacancy am not sure but I can arrange something, he answered.

That will be great cause I need them inside that company and when I said them I mean some of your men, I told him. That could be arranged but what are they going to do inside the company? He asked. They are going to start as workers there so that we can get how tight security is around the whole area and Sarah and in case you don't know, Mrs Vincent wants to hand the company over to her son so that she can retire, I told him. And your point exactly? He asked looking a little bit confused. If you want George to sign over the right of that company to you, then you have to get hold of Sarah, that way he will dance to your tune, I explained to him. Okay, now I understand where you are coming from and I think that they have suspected that already that is why they tightened the security around her, he pointed out. My thoughts exactly but we are going to take them by surprise, they will not know what hit them, I told him in confidence.

So when are we starting? He asked looking so excited. We need to penetrate their defence first, we are not going to take any action now cause I am sure that your son has told them that you are back and they are waiting for us to attack but we are not going to give them that, they will relax then we will strike, I explained to him. Okay, I understand, so when are we going to strike? He asked. When Sarah is in her ninth month, when your nephew will be desperate to save his wife, I answered him smiling already imagining how desperate and pitiful George Will look then. That makes a lot of sense, He said looking at me proudly, he know that he will not be able to achieve anything without me in the picture. I know I always make sense Steve, so do we have a deal? I stood up and stretched out my hand for a handshake to seal our deal and begin to create havoc. Deal! He shook my hand while smiling.
