Chapter Thirteen
Harrison's POV
"Oh really?", Julie said looking on the floor and not meeting my eyes.
"My bad, uh..sorry I don't want to interrupt you guys. Like, do you want something to drink?."I can offer you myself..oh shit! sorry.. I can offer you anything". "I know you're a workaholic so sit down and chill, I'll give you something-",she trailed off,an involuntary grin threatening to leave my lips as Julie shifted from one foot to the other uncomfortably sensing her uneasiness.
"Juan!", she exclaimed shutting her sister up. By now, she had turned fifty shades red.
Julie and Juan I see...
"I'm trying to entertain our guest",Juan said innocently
"Ain't I, Mr Kerry Harrison?". "I'm I not entertaining you?",she continued to say batting her lashes at me. I gave off a short hearty laugh finding her funny. Indeed she's quite an entertainer. As compared to Julie, Juan is much plumber and a big bone ,much of a talker too judging for her actions. Julie on the other hand is lean but is thicker on the backside and has all the curves at the right places.
Stupid! Why am I checking her out and comparing her to her sister! Damnit!
"Juan,could you please leave us for a minute?", Julia said to her sister seeming embarrassed.
"Sad thing my sister here finds me as an irritating figure here and badly wants to suck me out of here but I'll be right back Mr Harrison",Juan said giving me a wink then jolted upstairs leaving us. I watched Julia sighed in relief after her sister left upstairs.
"My sister..", she said gesturing to the direction where her sister left minutes ago, seeming embarrassed.
"It's okay. "She seems very interesting",I told her.
"Yeah",she said looking anywhere else but me.
"I want to know if the workload at the office is too much so I can reduce it", I told her feeling that, that could be one of the reasons for her mood lately.
"Oh no, no, it's not sir", Julie said
"You're an interpreter, also the head of Rey and been my PA because you wanted to cover up for Mrs Dora UNT she gets back from maternity leave".
"Sir I'm .. I'm.. I'm.. it's fine. I'm not stressed. "It's ok",she said sincerely.
"Ok so what's the problem then?",I said as she met my gaze as she felt my gaze on her.
We were left staring into each other's eyes for long with me searching into her beautiful brown orbs trying to see what she has been hiding but she quickly averted her gaze elsewhere to the direction of the couch not meeting my eyes again.
"Sir I told you already.., my relationship...", she began to say but I raised my right hand signalling her to stop right there.
"You're not in one",I told her much her surprise as she gaped at me.
"Yes, I'm saying this because Persus told me. "Why would you lie?",I said asking her.
"Sir, I think maybe you shouldn't ask so I wouldn't lie to you please",she said meeting my eyes.
"Oh um.. I'm so sorry I won't ask personal questions again but just let me know if the workload is too much so I can do something about it",I said ready to leave.
"Ohh..Mr Harrison you're leaving already?",she said hugging me.
"I have to rush to the office". "I only decided to stop by to check up on Julie ",I said staring at Julie's nervous figure.
Julie isn't willing to tell me what exactly her problem is, that alone makes me feel bad. I feel like I've done something wrong to her and that, she had no other choice not to complain. Ever since I made her my PA, she had never showed me this attitude and that alone makes me feel unease.
"I wish you won't leave this soon,but we can vibe together next time". "I have some chicken wings and potato chips to pack out for you, wait lemme go grab that from the kitchen",Juan said about move an inch towards the kitchen.
"Oh please don't, I'm okay,I can pass. "Thank you", I said giving her a content smile.
"Aw, promise me there'll be a next time?",Juan said with a pout.
"Juan!!?", Julie exclaimed irritatedly shutting her sister up.
"What?",Juan asked innocently.
"Uh,Mr Harrison thanks so much for stopping by, it's means so much. "I just want to let you know that there's no problem", Julie said with a tight smile of which I noticed was not a genuine one.
"I'll let this pass but please don't hesitate to tell me if there's a problem",I said giving them a retreating wave whiles Julie responded with a firm nod and turned on my back on my way out
"Byyee...",I heard Juan's voice shout out to me causing me to let out a chuckle.

Julie's POV
"What was that Juan?",I asked her immediately my boss stepped out. She smirked at me and crossed her arms on her chest.
"It's not funny Juan and let me tell you, that wasn't nice of you",I said to her.
"What did I do?", Juan asked innocently whiles control her urge to laugh,ending her a glare from me.
"Okay, I was entertaining our guest who happens to be your boss, nothing else". "Awwn he's so handsome I can daydream about all day". "Oh my gosh Julie!, you never described him of being this handsome", She continued fanning her hand over her looking all starstruck.
"I don't want you repeating that behavior you pulled towards him the next time, it's cringey",I told her as I heard towards the kitchen to prepare supper.
"Well, you found it cringey but he didn't! Didn't you see the way his gave me his million dollar smile and that hearty laugh ". "So embarrassed to say but my panties dampened at the sight of it ohh",She said.
"Ughh Juan ,you're been cringey now",I said rolling my eyes ,then chopped some vegetables for coleslaw".
"Whatever, thanks to you I never had the chance to meet your boss in person because you were too embarrassed to introduce me to him. "Thank the universe helping me see him in person at our doorstep,ohh did you sense his cologne mmmhm so manly and sweet",Juan fantasized with her hand on her chest.
"Will you stop talking and get me the chicken breast out from the fridge?".
"I have a feeling you're jealous Julie",she said after handing me two medium large size of canned chicken breast.
"Why would I be jealous?".
"You are jealous I got to embrace Harrison in his arms while you couldn't",she said teasingly.
"You know what?". "You're annoying",I said using the ladle to stir the curry sauce on the burner, lowered the temperature and allowed it to simmer for a few seconds. We were going to have basmati rice with curry sauce and a chicken coleslaw for supper.
"Annoying but lovable sis, gosh I'm hungry."Can I take just a little of the chicken breast from the can? ",She said fluttering her eyelashes at me.
"No".
"What?
"I said 'no'".
"Please just a little",she said but I shook my head "no" again ending a groan from her.
"Food is almost ready , you can't taste till it's done",I said to her as she fussed.
One thing for sure, Juan never goes hungry during the day. "She is the type who wants to get their tummies full every minute every second non stop. That explains her bloating figure.
