Twenty Four
*Bella's POV*
A few days later, I am lying on my bed, feeling like the most useless person on earth, thinking about nothing in particular. My thoughts are running in crazy different directions, but they keep circling back to one person. Jameson.
A knock comes on my door at some point, and one of the maids came to announce that I had a visitor.
I frown back at her like she had just spoken a foreign language since nobody has ever visited me ever since I moved here, "I have a visitor?"
"Yes, miss. You have a visitor. She is waiting for you in the living room."
A wave of disappointment flashes through me on learning that it is a she. A tiny part of me has already started hoping it would be Jameson. Even though he is still recovering at the hospital, my hopelessly romantic self is wishing he had sneaked out of the hospital just to come see me.
