Chapter Three

She finished cleaning herself when there was a knock on the door of her room. Maybe it was Pia. She's the one waking her up, even in the mansion the woman wakes her up, Pia is used to it.

She goes to the mansion early just to wake her up. Pia is very dedicated to working, maybe because she is still single. Shamia doesn't even know if she has a boyfriend.

"Come in," Shamia said. She didn't even bother to stand up to open the door.

"Good morning." Shamia was stunned by the voice she heard. "You are being summoned to the dining table, Ms. Sandler."

She looked at Kaiser leaning against the door of the bedroom door. His hair was still wet, probably he had just finished taking a bath. The man was wearing a white t-shirt and denim pants.

"G-good m-morning. Ahm-- all right, I'll be right next. " She stammered and then quickly turned her back on it. She could not bear to stare at him. Kaiser seemed to be reading her feelings and thoughts. He may notice the nervousness she feels because of the way he looks. It seems to penetrate the depths of her being.

"I'll wait for you then."

Her chest throbbed even harder because of what the Kaiser said. Why not just go first downstairs? She could no longer put the things in the bag properly.

Trembling. Shamia continued to fix and arrange her things even though it was not well. She didn't know how she would deal with the man again especially since what happened at the dinner table last night entered her mind.

"Are you finish, Ms. Shamia?" Her bodyguard asked again.

She looked at it and she almost fell because Kaiser was behind her.

"Okay. L-let's go. " She quickly walked away from Kaiser then hurried to the door of the room. He might hear her fast heartbeat.

Shamia is scared of how she feels. She couldn't name what it was.

She hurried to the dining area. She found her family is completely sitting in the dining area.

"Good morning guys." Shamia greeted them. She approached her mommy and daddy then waved and kissed. She did the same to her older brother and his wife.

"Good morning to you too, Mia." Mr. Sandler replied.

Shamia sat down next to her mom. Kaiser quickly pulled her a chair and then he said goodbye and left the dining room table.

"You, Shamia huh! You are waiting for Kaiser to come after you to your room. " Mrs. Sandler pointed out that make her older brother laugh.

"Your time's too long on your room, ah!"

Shamia stared at her brother then spooned rice and a dish. "Wait - where's Pia?" Shamia asked when she doesn't notice her secretary.

"She left first. She said she still has paperwork in the office that you need to read and sign. She will review first! " Her mommy answered.

Shamia did not answer and just continued eating. They were talking but she did not answer so that her family couldn't get her in a hot seat again.

When she finished eating, she just waited for them to finish and then said goodbye and left.

"Say Hi to Kaiser for me!" Her mommy asks which makes her eyebrows raise. They did not seem to have talked to the man before because he was staying outside with the other staff. Perhaps he's also avoiding being teased.

It was as if Shamia's heart was being squeezed at the thought of him avoiding being tease on her by her family. It pained her to think about it. But it hurts, even more, to think that he is avoiding because he has a girlfriend.

During the show, it was the one that repeatedly squeezed Shamia's brain. So she did not see that she met the man she was thinking of so she could not avoid it and she collided with his wide and hard chest.

She backed away due to the impact of their collision. "A-ah so-sorry!"

She was disgusted with herself for stuttering. She never used to be like that. She is not lightly affected by things.

But Kaiser is not just a thing! Her mind against what she said. Annoying.

Kaiser grabbed her by the elbow and then guided her to the car that she did not realize was parked in front of the mansion.

"Thank you." She manages to say even though her chest is pounding too hard.

Kaiser opened the backseat door for her and then turned towards the driver's seat. Kaiser is her Driver-bodyguard. They no longer use the Lexus van to go to the office because he volunteered to drive her, so the vehicle they are using is the BMW X5.

"Where are we going, Ms. Sandler?"

"Hmm... at home first." He nodded. "And Kaiser?"

"Yes, Mam?"

"Just call me Shamia," Shamia said that she could not look at the man who is driving while examining her as if she said something strange.

"Are you sure, Ms. Shamia?"

"Could you drop the Miss?" she said trying not to be sound she was forcing herself to him.

The man's critical gaze lingered on her. So he criticized her. "Eyes on the road, please. We might collide!"

Kaiser chuckled which cause her heart to summersault. "Don't worry Sham, It's not going to happen as long as I am your companion and driver."

Shamia's heart sank even more because of what Kaiser called her. Sham? Only her friends call her Sham and only her family calls her Mia.

"So, should I say thank you huh?"

Kaiser grinned then resumed driving.

His grin was further refined. The muscles in his arm are visible as it grips tightly to the steering wheel.

She immediately averted her eyes as she was caught checking him. Until they arrived at the mansion, she did not make the mistake of glancing at Kaiser because it might catch him again. Embarrassing!

Shamia got off immediately when the car stopped at the front door, she did not wait for him to open the door for her. She immediately went upstairs, took a shower, and got dressed to go to the office. Her secretary may have done all her work in the office.

"Please tell Kaiser to get the car ready," Shamia said as she went down the stairs without looking at the person below.

She knew it was Manang. She always waits for her to go downstairs and give her daily tasks. Just like not going hungry and eat at the right time.

Manang Leny was her nanny so until she moved and separated from her family, she went with her.

"Sham is ready. You are the only one waiting."

She almost fell down the stairs when she could not hear Manang's voice below but Kaiser's voice.

The man smiled as he waited for her downstairs. Shamia's chest immediately throbbed at the sight. She doesn't feel normal with the man anymore.

"Hmm --- good morning. Let's go! " She then proceeded to leave the house.

Her bodyguard immediately followed and quickly opened the backseat.

"Ahm .. uhh I'm just here in the front seat." She said.

Kaiser nodded at what she said then quickly opened the front seat and supported her to enter. He was still holding her elbow.

When her skin touches him, her chest loses. "Thanks!"

He grinned and then turned towards the driver's seat.

TIME seems to be teasing. Exactly when they arrived in front of the company a heavy rain fell. She still doesn't have an umbrella in her bag.

Kaiser used to take her to the company before parking the car.

"Oh my!"

She was surprised when the Kaiser came out even though it was raining heavily then he went straight to the reception area and talked to the woman there. The receptionist of the company is unknown as a young woman. Because she does not focus on the employees as long as they are doing their job in the company there is no problem with that.

Kaiser talked to the woman for a moment, that woman was so cute that she was indignant inside the girl.

When Kaiser got back in the car, he was already carrying an umbrella. He's wet. Dramatic rainwater falls from its hair towards its face and jaw.

Seriously!

Alas, I will buy you a lot of umbrellas and what you can use when I expel you from my empire!!

Shamia looked down at the receptionist. She did not even realize that the man had already opened the door on her side because of the extreme anger she felt.

"Oh, you look like you're going to kill?" The man joked when he sees how she looked.

"Remind me to fire that bitch later!"

"Huh?"

She looked at the man who was confused by what she said. What she said was strengthened. "Huh? Uh, nothing."

Shamia was so annoyed with the woman that she did not realize that her bodyguard was watching her while she was very annoyed with the receptionist.

She got out of the car. The man next to her quickly supported her. She hurriedly walked towards the lobby of the company, but before passing the reception, Shamia could not escape the sight of the receptionist looking at her bodyguard behind her.

When Kaiser made sure that she couldn't get wet in the rain, he returned to the receptionist for a moment and returned the umbrella he had borrowed from the woman.

"Thank you!" She heard Kaiser speak to the woman.

She could not stand it so she looked around where they were. And she really couldn't stop herself from approaching them when she saw that the woman was already holding Kaiser's arm as if preventing the man from leaving.

What the heck?

The woman immediately released the bodyguard noticing her approach.

"Good Morning, mam."

"What's good in the morning Miss ---?"

"Rey, mam."

"Oh! Who-ever-you-are! You're fired! "

It took a long time to hear. Kaiser remained silent, just watching.

It should be just what! She is annoying.

"Mam? Why? I am not doing anything wrong. I am doing my job."

"Did I give you the right to talk back?" She looked at the woman from head to toe. "Oh! I don't see you doing your job. Is it your job to flirt and be cute? "

She bowed because of what she said and then did not answer but looked at the man next to her so Shamia's head became even hotter. "You're fired so I don't want to see your face when I get down later."

She said then quickly turned around and took the elevator. Shamia did not even look to see if Kaiser complied.

Annoying! Annoying! How does she feel? Was she jealous of that woman for what she did to the man? But they have no relationship and she has no rights.

Because of Shamia's thoughts, she became even more irritated. The pain she felt in his chest was accompanied by guilt. Of course, she has no right to be angry and jealous of the women who approach him. Because we don't have it relationship!

She rushed into the office. Pia ignored the look on her curiosity.

"What happened to Ms. Samia, Kai?"

She even heard her question when Kaiser was still next to her but she did not hear him answer.

Shamia was in the middle of working when... "Mam, Ms. Garcera is here." she heard Pia's promise on the intercom.

"Let her ---"

Even before she finished speaking to let them in, the door opened and her friend entered.

"What movement is going on in the chin and making a fuss there?"

"Hi to you too, Ms.Garcera."

It has not sat down yet but that is the immediate question.

"Did you come here just to find gossip? Alas, I'm leaving busy. Ysabell and Lourine are your pests."

"What did you do this time, Sham? Oh, you will run out of employees then!"

"That girl is a bitch! Leech!" Shamia is still irritated when she remembers the company's female receptionist.

"What did you do?"

"That was annoying, with everyone flirting with Kaiser and right in front of me. It's good that I didn't drag him out."

"You look like you're going to kill!" She then observed her reaction. "Oh my God --- You're in love."

She frowned at what her talkative friend had said. "What are you saying?"

"Are you mad at women approaching your bodyguard?"

She nodded.

"Are you nervous when he looks at you?"

"Yes, especially when our skin accidentally touches each other."

Her eyes widened. "Do you always want to see him?"

She nodded again in agreement.

"OMO !! Let's party-party, wait I will call them, I will report this incident."

"Huh?"

"After so many years, you are in love again! Hallelujah. " Krysta said as she quickly took the cell phone out of the bag and dialed.

She thought carefully about Krysta's questions earlier and her unanswered answers. And when she realized what was said she was quickly taken aback.

Oh my god! I'm in love with m-my bodyguard? Shit!

She had not been with her for almost two months but she immediately fell in love with him.

Now, she knows why she acted differently when they're girls flocking around him.

She's jealous. Because even though he was with her every day, she could not do the things that the women who approached him could do.

I'm jealous because I'm in love!
