Eren appeared very confused when he saw the person who could only be called down with the help of the Question Voucher. At least that's how he believed it worked.

"What are you doing here?" he asked the mysterious man who refused to accept the title of the author, no matter how many times he was called that.

It was less about rejection and more as if he was scared of taking the title for some reason.

Eren didn't know if it was his misconception, but every time he called this person the author, he saw a strange sense of fear and rejection appear in the man's eyes.
