3rd POV

“Sir, this is the girl that the Alpha is seeing right now” the guy gives the picture of a girl leaving the company to the man who is sitting.

The man is in his late fifties and has this huge body. He also has tattoos on his body, especially on his nape. His eyes are unusually dominated by black

They are talking in a secluded place. There are a huge number of men walking around the premises.

The man earlier was treated as their leader, he has so many men in his disposal to do his commands and biddings, he was so envious to the Alpha that he will do everything, to get everything he has.

Maia’s POV

I woke up in a familiar room. This was the room I occupy when I lost my consciousness in the forest. Where I first met the Alpha.

I look around just to see the room empty, I was the only person here. Where is the Alpha? Where is everyone?

I walk out of the room and see a quiet hallway. The silence gives me chills. It always reminds me of something horrible.

I was about to open the door when my stomach growls, so I decided to just look for the kitchen to get something to eat. Walking through the hallway, Luckily, I found the way to the kitchen. I’m so hungry.

It’s already ten in the morning, I cook some foods that can satisfy my hunger. I was eating when a bunch of wolves enter the kitchen. They are a mixture of men and women.

The men are half naked and soaking in sweat while the women are wearing something like a bra and a shorts or leggings. I look away, embarrassed on what I saw.

They look at me like I did something wrong. They sniff in the air and it looks like they are ready to attack me. They begin to walk towards me, I was about to stand when someone speak beside me.

“What do you think you’re doing?” I was about to thank the Alpha when all the wolves on the kitchen kneel their right knee. I was nervous for a moment, I thought they’re going to attack me.

There’s a silence between us, the wolves keep their head low. It looks like the way of respect for the Alpha. I wonder if I should also do that.

“Sorry, we didn’t recognize her” someone on the group said. I look at him and saw a very handsome guy. He was kneeling while his head hang low while talking.

He was handsome, but the Alpha is more handsome.

Someone cover my eyes. Someone, I mean the Alpha cover my eyes. I was busy removing his huge hand on me when I heard someone talk

“We thought that someone enters the pack house without consent” he said again. I assume it was the same guy who talks earlier. Are they talking about me?

After a long silence he finally removes his on hand on my eyes. I rub my eyes a little then look at the whole kitchen.

They are gone. I mean, they are nowhere to be found here in the kitchen. I was alone with the Alpha. I resume eating even though I notice the way he looks at me. It’s bothering me.

“What?” I ask him when he didn’t stop looking at me. He should at least tell me if needs something. I don’t have that metal telepathy that they have. I can’t talk to them using my mind.

“What?” he ask me back. I don’t know if he was just teasing me or he just don’t know what I want to say.

“Eat, after that we’ll talk about the incident on your house” he said before leaving the kitchen.

Look at that, he just walk out on me.

I finish my food as soon as I can. I want to know who did that to my house. I can’t remember arguing with someone, I don’t have any idea why he did that, but definitely, there are reasons behind it.

After eating I walk out of the kitchen just to get lost again. I forgot to ask him, where is he meeting me by the way?

“Follow me” someone from the back said. I almost jump, I didn’t notice him.

I was about to nag at hi, when he started walking. I sighed. Maybe it’s really important and urgent that we should talk right now. We stopped in a colored gray door. It was a huge door so I assume that it has a huge space.

The door open. There are at least five people in the room including the Alpha and the Beta. I wave at the Beta which he returned quickly. I was about to walk and sit next to him when someone grab my hand.

The Alpha let me sit next to him. I was awkward at first but it subsided when the girl talk. There are three unfamiliar people, a girl and two boys.

“Let’s start” she said

“Did you notice something unusual?” she ask me. She looks at me intently.

“No, I mean the doors are closed and the outside looks normal except when you enter” I said truthfully.

I was really worried, someone manages to enter my house without me knowing, without the Alpha knowing.

“It will be hard for us, Alpha. We don’t have any trace, I can’t even smell other people in there” the guy in front of me said.

He is so cool. He has a silver hair and blue eyes that looks cold. The girl beside him, the girl who talk first, has the same color except that it has blue on some of the strand of her shoulder length hair.

“Try to get something that can lead us to someone, you may go” The Alpha said and the three person leave the room.

“How are you?” the Beta ask me. I look at him and smile genuinely.

“I’m fine, at least” I said while shrugging my shoulder.

“Yeah” is all he can say.

“Can I talk to you?” I asked the Alpha when we were already alone.
