My 7th Hero Summoning Brought Me Home To Fight The System?!

A hero summoning. To anyone aware of the term, it is a fairly straightforward deal. Get summoned, learn that now you are a hero of some sort, defeat the Big Bad Evil Guy, and save the day. All of that for the sake of returning home and living a peaceful life. If you are lucky, you might keep some of your abilities after going back, if not, you are at least left with an appreciation for the kind and peaceful world of today. But what if, once everything is said and done, rather than going back home... You are sent to save yet another world? And then another? And then again, and again and again... What if, after six entire lifetimes, when you grew accustomed to your new, bleak reality of ever-increasing hardship and challenges... You were to return home? And could you really say you've returned... or was it your home world that summoned you back? And what's with the system making its appearance now, six lifetimes after it should appear? *** 1 chapter per day (will try to upload them sometime around daily reset, either before or after it :3 25 Power stones - 1 bonus chapter a the next week 50 Power stones - 2 bonus chapters a next week 75 Power stones - 3 bonus chapters in the next week Up to 20 reviews, every 2 reviews - a bonus chapter (in other words, up to 10 chapters that I will try to do within a week, but might take up to two.) The silent slaughter

The humans worked hard and they worked fast.

The pile of rubble that blocked the breach was truly massive. It was big enough for the defenders to consider it a sufficient defense for the broken part of the wall, especially with the illusion spell hiding its existence on the outside.

And yet…

And yet, in what was maybe ten, maybe fifteen minutes, human engineers managed to remove the great majority of it, leaving only about a meter-high layer of it. Then, rather than forcing themselves to remove the biggest stones and boulders as well, they simply covered it with enough gravel to, more or less, even the path out and then covered it with wooden planks.

All in a bit to make the pass somewhat smooth, expanding the hole from fitting four men at most to an opening capable of letting eight of them pass at once and in relative comfort.
