Spirit resides

Mae looked up at Invi, her daughter, reaching out to touch her daughter's face. She noticed, the hand was no longer a mushroom hand, but this was a human hand.

Both of her hands were human hands. Mae touched her face and there was no longer the mushroom cap or the soft, spongy skin of the mushroom.

"You have"- Mae turned to Invi

"Mirror? Right here"- Invi

Invi controlled the flow of water, causing it to flatten and freeze, forming a mirror and giving it to Mae.

When she looked in the mirror, it reflected the image of a 13-year-old girl, with smooth white skin and purple eyes that sparkled like gems. Shiny purple hair reaching waist length. Is this really Mae, her human self?

"What? Are you satisfied?"- Invi
