( Yuto Pov )

" Finally!" I dusted my hands off as I smelled the clean air on the store that was recently cleaned and refurbished.

I don't know what it looked like, but if it got Zald's approval, the mother of Zeus Familia, then it should be fine.

The potions that weren't on display were stocked in the storage upstairs.

" Now... who should be able to watch over the shop? Maybe Teresa..." I still held a grudge from her carrying me.

" This is nice." I turned my head to the sound of Nimriel's voice.

" Though, it could use some plants, maybe some art..." Nimriel explored the store as I walked towards him.

" Hm? Yuto, this store is a great idea. Though I wished it was a tea establishment. Sigh." Nimriel sighed as he put a plant in front of the wide window along with the potions on display.

" Hmm, maybe we could." I replied as I remembered a café in my old world.

It was a cat cafe where Iris loved to go.

As relaxing as it was and great to be in the presence of cats, it was also the day I found out I was allergic to cats.

" Actually, I wanted to speak with you, Yuto."

" You do?" I asked.

" Yes, and it seems you haven't found someone to watch over the shop yet, correct?"

I nodded.

" Well... my sister has arrived with a friend and it's been since I have spoken with her and we came on contact not long ago. And now she needs a job..."

" If you're worried about using me for your sister, then you shouldn't. With everything you taught me and taking care of me, of course, I will let your sister work here.'I smiled as I heard the sounds of relief from Nimriel.

" Thank you, Yuto. I'll let her know that she has gotten the job." I heard Nimriels footsteps leave and exit the store.

" I should put a bell on that door." I muttered.

A few hours passed as I carried a few boxes to the other side of the store to put them on display.

Ding!

I heard the bell ring as the door opened.

I turned my head to the sound of Nimriels footsteps along with two others that I barely recognized.

" Eh? Yuto?" A familiar feminine voice entered my ears as I raised an eyebrow.

" Sylvia..." I turned my head to the smell of wet dog.

" And Cayden..."

They were alive.

" Yo!" Cayden greeted me as he patted my head.

I felt his left hand pat me as I realized he didn't use his right hand like he used to do.

" What happened to your right hand?" I asked.

Everyone went silent before Cayden replied.

" Lost it... when we made our escape as well." He replied solemnly.

I nodded in response.

" Still blunt as ever, Yuto." Sylvia spoke.

" You two met Yuto?" Nimriel asked.

" Ah, this kid here was quite the trouble maker, hahaha!" Cayden laughed.

" You still smell like wet dog." I spoke as I picked up the box of potions.

" I'll explain, come, brother, we have much to catch up on." Syliva took Nimriel to the back of the store as I threw the box to Cayden.

" Here, mutt. If you're gonna work here, start with this." I spoke as Cayden argued.

" You realize I only have one arm." He replied.

" Oh? I don't know what know what you're talking about? After all, I am blind." I smirked as I grabbed the other box.

" Tsk." Cayden clicked his tongue as he followed me with the box.

" So.... you joined a familia?" Cayden opened his mouth.

I nodded.

" mom, the Zeus Familia." I replied.

" Really?" Cayden asked as he put the potion on the shelf like I did but on the higher level.

" Yes. I became a level 2 a few days ago."

Cayden paused for a few seconds before continuing.

" I knew you were different but a level 2? Seriously?"

" I'm serious." I replied.

Cayden sighed.

" What!? Really!?" Me and Cayden paused before I heard rapid footsteps approaching us.

" Yuto! Do you really have a relationship with a girl!?" Sylvia grabbed my shoulders.

" Hoh? Now I'm interested in this." Cayden spoke as I groaned in annoyance.

" damnit, Nimriel." I cursed as Sylvia continued to interrogate me.

Minutes passed from Sylivia's brutal interrogation as I left the store in their hands as I wanted to escape quickly.

' Alright, with that settled, I should train more... nah fuck training, let's go the dungeon to level up. ' I thought as I immediately walked to the dungeons location.

I stopped in front of the dungeon as with my katana and dagger in hand.

I stepped into the dungeon once more.

" Two weeks... I'll become a level 3. " I muttered.

Hours passed as I entered the dungeon, killing anything that I could hear.

And a few hours I returned to the surface covered in cuts and wounds as I walked to the Zeus Familia.

To not garner any attention, I climbed to my window and entered my room to patch my wounds before going to Zeus room.

I stood in front of his room as I didn't hear anything on the other side.

" Must be in the dining room."

I turned towards the dingin room and walked downstairs.

" Zeus." I said his name to find him the crowd of chatters and shouts.

" Over here, kid!" Zeus shouted across the room as I walked towards his direction.

" I need an update." I spoke as I sat on the chair backward after taking my shirt off.

" Huh? Sure." Zeus replied as he noticed how quickly I wanted Mt status to be updated.

' I can't really level up without his blessing.'

" A level 3!" Zeus celebrated as he grabbed the mug from the table.

" Haha!"

" Level 3!?"

" Oh my!"

" Yuto! Which skills you want? Assassin, runesmith, or berserker?" Zeus spoke before continuing.

" There's also Castor, and.... and..." Zeus didn't finish as he stopped.

I tilted my head towards him.

" What's wrong?" I asked as I heard Zalds and Maxims footsteps coming closer.

" It appears to be a new skill... maybe a unque one."

" Sigh, just tell what is it." I spoke as waiting for them to say the name.

" Abyssal shroud. " Maxim replied as he grabbed my shoulder.

" It's best you don't pick this one."

I ignored him as I rest my chin on my arm.

" I'll pick abysmal shroud." I replied causing Maxim to sigh.

" Sigh, forget it. Pick it. Let's see its effects then." Maxim spoke before sitting down on a nearby chair.

" Yeesh, are you sure kid." Zeus asked.

" Yes." I nodded.

I felt Zeus patting my back as he was done.

The room was suddenly engulfed in a cold, silent force with me the center of it all.

" Wow!" But to the Zeus Familia, it was nothing to them as they easily shrugged it off.

' They really are different kind of adventures.' I thought inwardly happy for my new status.
