Chapter 32:

Nero made his way back to the smithing town. The broken walls and toppled buildings were hastily fixed to accomodate refugees as per Nero's instructions. Dozens of children and elderly people moved about to play their part and greeted Nero with smiles and the children even had stars in their eyes as they greeted the Hero who saved them. His mask and armor made him easy to recognize.

There was respect in the eyes of the people towards their savior.

Nero greeted the people with a nod and made his way into the biggest mansion where he found Ichigo awaiting for him.

"How is the training going?" Nero got straight to the point.

"We have been makig progress for the past couple of weeks and those who lacked in combat potential were educated on other subjects as per your orders. Currently we have more than 227 agent trainies and more than 400 people who are training to become teachers, economists, blacksmiths, enginneers, sceintists and famers at our current pace they will be a capable.workforce in 5 to 8 years." Ichigo informed as she gave Nero various reports and forms.

"That's not fast enough, I'm going to build a machine that will increase rheir learning speeds and decrease that time to only 3 to four months." Nero stated, what he had in mind was VR traning chamber similar to the one from 'I have a mansion in an apocalyptic world'. It was a very valuable resource that would allow Nero to advance his orgnization ahead.

"Of course lord Ryu, just tell me what you need and I'll get it ready." Ichigo complied.

"Get me as much iron, aluminium, steel and copper as possible. I also want the biggest smithy available and nobody is to disgurb me during this process." Nero intructed Ichigo. Since he had machenical intuition, an ability that allowed him to creat a schematic of a machine by just reading or seeing it although he was still not perfectly knowledgeable about how to creat the VR training chamber he had theories to creat a lesser version that he could then augment to work even better than the one in the novel.

After his resources arrived Nero closed himself off inside his workshop. A huge warehouse that could accomodate more than 200 people and still leave room for movement without there being discomfort.Everything was available. A pile of resources sat before him neatly organized and labelled, he eyes the primitive equipment in the room and approached.

He closed his eyes and approached it, he placed his hand on the equipment and a series of screans appeared before him.

Nero weighed his options before choosing a high tier VR production line. He didn't want to have anyone else know the process to create VR chambers yet.

Choosing the third option Nero watched in amazement as Nanites rushed out of his body like a tsunami and started creating all manner of automated arms, conveyor belts, smelting rooms, hydralic presses and other heavy equipment. All the metals and other materials were gone and in their place was a well organized factory ready to pump out VR chambers.

After it's completion Nero updated his knowlege since he was basically a living library about anything that had to do with technology. Knowledge on how to use and even create such a structure entered his mind as he observed the entire place.

The warehouse was now divided into multiple rooms, some were for smelting and moulding, others were for welding, polishing and the last one was for assembling before the final product was produced.

He went the smelting room, it had different chutes each labelled with the required resource to produce what he wanted.

Nero picked up the required resources and placed them into their labelled areas in the specified quantities. He activated the machine that came to life. A series of machenic sounds resounded in the entire place.

The process would take 2 days to build one chamber, from there he'd upload knowlege on technology that he knew and felt was beneficial.Nero decided to draw blueprints of the different machines within the warehouse. He decided to give them to the blacksmiths who worked for him so they can build similar factories after their session in the VR chamber.He would add slight changes here and there and add other machines to change the purpose of the factory. Others would produce mining drills, cars, planes, concrete, plastic and much more different products.

After two days the first chambet was complete. It was a hybrid VR training chamber. It could be powered by mana, electricity and even had special slots were one could inject the subject with chemicals that could improve their overall physique of course right now he had no such chemicals but that would change soon. Nero had an idea to create an elit force that was powered by dark chakra. He wouldn't be idle either, his newfound abilities would help advance his power and augment his tools to newfound heights.

Nero spent 3 months within the workshop, and people curiously watched as strange sounds came from the place from time to time but nobody dared to disobey him. Not only was the place guarded tightly by Ichigo and the first generation of agents who managed to survive their journies for revenge and came back, they also knew that Nero could destroy this whole town with his strength. There was also the feeoing of respect they held for Nero, they didn't want to disrespect their saviour who had given them a safe home and food.

3 years later....

In those three years a lot of things happened, the war ended with an armistice treaty, many heroes rose to fame but those who stood out most were the sanin who had fought Hanzo of the salamanda, a kage level ninja and earned his respect, Konoha's white fang also rose to fame. His story was a controversial one with a lot of different opinions.

He had killed two powerful sand ninja and preventing many losses on their side.

His story was spoken all over the land of fire, he who fought of Chiyo the greatest puppet master. He held off the onslaught of ten of her puppets and helped his team survive while abandning the mission knowing full well the consequences. He earned some peopl's respect but the majority of the shinobi cursed and cast stones at his name for abandoning his mission.

With the favour of the war having fallen in Konoha's favour, Konoha had managed to drag on the war to a standstill while defending on two sides. Iwagakure led a relentless onslaught trying to secure a place within the land of fire but Konoha had intercepted them at every turn.

The battles were mostly concentrated in Amegakure after Konoha allied with the hidden Grass, they repelled and blocked any attempt to pass through the village forcing Iwagakure to divert their path and attack from Amegakure. Hanzo turned a blind eye to the conflicts as long as they weren't too big. Small skirmishes raged on in the village and eventually Konoha got the uppper hand due to Danzo's descrete efforts to bring down their strongholds and force a retreat further procing the effectiveness of his root organization.

The hidden sand also retreated after losing too many soldiers while only killing a few of Konaha's forces due to Tsunade's ninja team system that had increased mission survival rates by a large rate.

The hidden cloud and Kirigakure on the other hand weren't actively participating in the war, instead Kirigakure had initiated a secret program to recruit people with kekkei-genkai into the village to increase their overall power.

The hidden cloud was also focused on strengthning their forces, they cultured a new generation of jinchiriki and other powerful figures for the seat of successor in case the war dragged on and they were forced to join, which in their opinion was the worst case scenario.

Nero had spent most of his time studying his new powers, his runes were much faster in forming any shape he wanted. He could also had much better control over his mana. He could swiftly control small threads of his mana with his mind harden them or increae their desnity cutting power, augment his defenses and even power runes more effectively.

His B-rank energy absorption also made it much faster to absorb mana, and within a 30 meter radius he could slowly absorb mana off the surroundings.

He felt much stonger and faster. He could now also now add any knowlege on technology to his own. Even theories, his living database skill and machenical intuition made him a genius when it comes to technology.

His biggest gain though was his runes. A sequence of letters now created one rune that could control energy and convert it or even absorb energy and store it in any form he wants as long as he know how that form of energy works he also gained runes that could manipulate the force of gravity, light and space. Although he couldn't even comprehend them as of yet due to how complex they were and their inflexibility.

He could also apply atleast five runes onto a person without drawback like corroding them to ash. The runes would still decay the person but a special rune of recovery could reverse the effects of the runes and bring the object back to it's peak state after enough time the process was slow so he held off on scribbling runes on anyone just yet.

His control and understanding of other runes also increased to the point he was confident in creating a neclear plant that uses runes in place of machines.

Once he realized his he resolved hismelf to study mana and convert it to chakra and create a perfect body for himself. A body far beyond the Otsutsuki, or any other being in the Naruto universe.
