After a long time of waiting, a man came out of the warehouse watched by Kurumi.

Seeing her target, Kurumi stops stroking the contented cat and, moving through the rooftops, she follows the man. However, her original plan doesn't work when the man got into the car.

Flicking her tongue in displeasure, Kurumi speeds up as she descends from the roof. Before the man starts the car and drives away Kurumi approaches the car and walking past it she looks at the shadow cast by the car. In the shadows under the car appears a red and gold eye which after a moment disappears when the silhouette to which the eyes belong when it grabs undercarriage of the car .

After a moment the car drives away with the clone hanging under the car. Looking at it Kurumi smiles.

" The clone should leave me the location of the car, but it would be better if I personally followed him ".

Kurumi says while watching the car drive away. With that done Kurumi turns to walk away but the black cat stands in her way again.

" I won't take you home so get lost ".

Says Kurumi leaving the cat when she walks away . The little cat looks at her and follows Kurumi.

Neo pov

The moment Kurumi left I got up and after taking one of the chairs from the clock store I went to the roof where I put the chair. Then I rushed back downstairs and grabbed some snacks and blanket.As . While on the roof, I started browsing the web for useful information.

In the course of spending a couple of hours on the roof, I feel better I accustomed to the pain and only the pad itself is uncomfortable now . However, this does not prevent me from looking for information.

' There is nothing interesting'

I sigh resignedly seeing that I haven't found anything all day. Looking up at the sky I see that it's already getting dark so Kurumi should be home in a while if, of course, if nothing stops her in her tracks.

Shifting the blanket over my shoulders I wrap it around myself and get up from the chair to go back inside. However, just as my fingers are about to touch the entrance I hear someone climbing up the rope.

Knowing who it is I walk up to the edge of the roof and see Kurumi. So when she was all the way up, I give her a hand to help her up to the roof.

" Thank you Pink Mouse"

Kurumi says looking at me and then she notices a blanket over me and a chair behind me.

" Were you waiting for me?"

Asks Kurumi while covering her smile with her hand . I wasn't exactly waiting for her but let her be. With this determination I hugged her.

' I was here alone '

I think remembering those moments of solitude. Feeling Kurumi massaging my back I feel better already. Ending this touching reunion me and Kurumi enter through the door on the roof but before we can close it something small runs between our legs.

" It's that mangy cat, how does he even... ? "

Kurumi says then runs after the little cat.

' Ok? '

I think as I close the door then go downstairs to find Kurumi watching the hands from the cat's shadow holding the cat as it cries apparently because of the strength of the hands that are holding it.

Hearing the cat cry Kurumi's face is uncomfortable. I know she has a good heart and she doesn't want to hurt him but she is too ashamed to apologize or be gentle with him.

I've known Kurumi long enough to know that she sometimes says things that are inconsistent with her thoughts or she does things to support her strong character even if she doesn't want to do it .

However, at the end of the day, Kurumi has a soft heart and she likes cute little things but she won't admit it, same with her double ponytails she likes that cute hairstyle but at first she tried to find an excuse to change it.

Knowing that Kurumi doesn't really want to hurt the cat I walk over to the crying cat and lift it from those hands holding it in place.

" Okay now let's get him out of here."

Says Kurumi however to me it sounds more like " Can we keep him? ". Thinking about it I hug the little cat who clearly likes to be hugged then I look at Kurumi.

' Can we keep him? '

I think while tilting my head to the side looking at Kurumi. The cat seeing my tilted head did the same and so we both looked at Kurumi.

" This is no ordinary cat he already has an owner for who he is mean ."

" Besides you have to feed him, he needs litter boxes and other things and for that you need money. "

Kurumi says. However, I don't give up.

'Well look at him he is like a cute little baby, cat food is not that expensive either we can even give him leftovers'.

I think while looking at Kurumi who sighs.

" If you want it you can have it"

Kurumi says but despite her tone I can tell she is happy after all, even though the cat once stole Kurumi's food it doesn't change the fact that this kitty is adorable which makes me see by Kurumi's face that she has turned into her inner Tsundere

Besides, even if Kurumi says that she doesn't want the cat, I'm sure that in the next two weeks I'll be jealous of this cat when all of Kurumi's attention will fall on this cat and I'll have to somehow draw that attention to myself. I can bet. So with that cat officially staying with us we went down to the bunker.

'So something new? '

I think looking at Kurumi, as I put the cat down on one of the crates.

" Yes I have something probably the one who sells the dust got it from the theft in Vale."

Kurumi says.

' Then there was no smuggling?

I think while looking at Kurumi.

''I don't know this is just a clue however I have the location of the house where the owner of the warehouse lives so I'll go and check it out tomorrow "

Says Kurumi as she pulls the instant noodles out of the crate and walks towards the generator room where the boiling water needed to prepare the food is located . In the meantime while I am waiting for the food the cat comes back to me and looks at me.

Seeing this I hold out my hands towards him and he jumps into them. Playing with the cat I wait for Kurumi to return.

" And how are you feeling?"

Asks Kurumi when she returns and sits down on the crate next to me .

' It is fine I can go with you tomorrow .'

I think while seeing Kurumi serve me food. I letts go of the cat and picking up the food .

" Are you sure? "

Asks Kurumi.

' We don't have to do much since you have clones '.

I think remembering the clones that are getting better however, they need illusion all the time if we want them to look human nonetheless it is worth the effort. Theoretically when we want we don't have to do anything because the clones can even be remotely controlled by Kurumi. You could say that we can do things without exposing ourselves to danger.

"Well let's still see how you feel tomorrow if all is well no problem"

Kurumi says when she strips naked and hands me her clothes.

" will you take them to the bedroom? I want to take a bath "

Asks Kurumi when I nod my head yes. And so getting up with Kurumi's clothes and the cat walking beside me I go to the bedroom.
