The Burglar Part 1

Neo pov

Waking up I find a strange situation, because next to me there is no Kurumi or cat with whom I slept together. Reaching to the side for a scroll I check the time.

' 10:00'

I think for a moment as I stare dully at the scroll when it finally occurs to me what time it is, I quickly get out of bed.

However, when you have a period such a quick movement is a mistake. Sighing at the pain, this time I slowly make my way to the exit of the room .

' Kurumi probably already went, as she didn't want to wake me up.'

'so she is probably there alone now .'

I think when I get to the door and open it wide and there I am stopped by an unusual situation. Kurumi with a cat, the cat is lying its back on the crat when Kurumi holds its front paws with her hands and she hides her face in the cat's belly from where I can clearly hear that she is blowing air on the cat's belly .

The cat itself is satisfied and doesn't fight back making Kurumi bury her face even harder into the cat's belly .

' Kurumi "I don't want the cat" , Kurumi and the cat a few hours later'.

I think while standing there looking at this rare sight. I don't even know how long I've been standing like this. Finally Kurumi stops and raises her head kissing the tip of the cat's nose.

And that's when she realizes I'm standing there looking at her, as if in a comedy, her face slowly turns towards me in horror.

' What is your excuse?'

I ask in my mind at the same time making fun of her Tsundere side. Knowing her she will normally find an excuse for it something like" it's my clone ", or she will say " she was checking how the cat smells" and then say that it stinks and needs to be bathed.

" This cat smells it needs to be bathed.... Besides, I checked if it was a boy or a girl "

Says Kurumi "explaining" after which she drop the cat on the ground. Fortunately, the cat like a cat lands on four paws after which it hisses at Kurumi and runs away.

' Even the cat has a personality after you'

I think as I walk past Kurumi after which I look at the cat which is also a little Tsu - Tsu. Then I look at Kurumi who, seeing the look on my face, she takes her own serious expression and looks as if nothing ever happened.

' Well then, what is the plan for today ? '

I think ending that topic already because time is running out. Besides, it was Kurumi who had to wait for me which is sweet of her.

" Under your illusion we enter the warehouse owner's house search everything he has for information and roll up."

Says Kurumi as usual her plan must be elaborate but just in case I have to ask.

' What if he keeps all the important stuff on data disks just like everyone else these days? '

I ask knowing that Kurumi is not a professional at stealing data.

" While you were sleeping I managed to ask Ash to borrow something I could rip the data onto. Ash before he went to' work' he stopped here and I picked it up from him."

Said Kurumi showing me a small thin disc.

' But how do you unlock the device to rip the data ?'

' After all, it must have some kind of password ?

I think, this time specifically.

' We will look for the password in his house ".

Kurumi says simply. Hearing her I could say it's silli but it's possible, how many people keep some password written down on some piece of paper ? Almost everyone, so it is the logical way out.

" Now Mouse why don't you will prepare to leave? "

Says Kurumi with a gentle smile hearing her I move to the restroom to continue my quick routine. Ready I walk out of the bathroom and instinctively I grab the bottle of water that was flying towards me.

Says Kurumi throwing me a sandwich. However, unlike ready-made sandwiches this one is fresh but I also know that this sandwich is different from the sandwiches that Big Mama makes. This sandwich is incompetently made and wrapped in foil like a ball .

However, you can see that whoever made it, made an effort trying it to look good . And knowing who made it, I look at Kurumi, who was putting two plastic bowls on the ground, one with water in it and the other with a big piece of ham.

" Remember Neo that we need to buy a litter box and cat food."

Says Kurumi turning to me, only to get kiss on the cheek for me .

" What was that?"

Asks a surprised Kurumi but I just smile at her.

" If you run out of sanitary pads we will buy them too ".

Says Kurumi changing the topic of conversation, however I can see that she has a little blush on her cheeks.

' Kurumi and her sweet side.

Before we left Kurumi closed the bedroom door so that the cat wouldn't get inside and accidentally shit on the bedding. And when everything was ready we went out to do our, today's task.

Pov 3 person

Kurumi and Neo in contrast to their once cautious way of moving, the two decided to take a normal walk through the streets of Vale. After all, with their strength, they no longer need to be afraid.

Moving through the streets they reached the north side of the Vale, where the Upper class people lived. Of course, here every building was well-maintained with police roaming the streets and people living without worrying about tomorrow.

Of course, the number of police has increased and the sheer number of them patrolling the area is a change that would not allow Kurumi to continue stealing jewelry here .

But with their appearance Neo and Kurumi had no problem navigating this wealthier neighborhood, as they both look like two young ladies from a wealthy home despite their real status.

Kurumi with her gothic black dress and Neo with her colorful elegant attire were gathering stares from people however not negative but positive and pleased.

The police themselves were paying attention to them and this was not because of suspicion but to make sure nothing happened to them

The two girls continued on their way until they stopped at an expensive-looking building

From one of the shadows near the building, it was possible to see a pair of bicolored eyes that dissolved upon seeing Kurumi.

" This is this building"

Kurumi says after which she and Neo continue walking until they cross the street to a place where they are not visible to others.

" They probably have a silent Alarm we also don't know if anyone is home either"

Says Kurumi looking across the street.

" I can't see the car but I know he has a family, the question is if they are home? "

Says Kurumi looking at Neo who knows what the Kurumi is planning. And after a quick nod of confirmation an illusion appears around Neo changing her appearance to a black-haired girl with green eyes .

With her changed appearance, Neo returns to the door of the building and knocks on them. However, despite waiting and repeating the knocking action, no one opens.

Then Kurumi walks up to the door of the Building and looks at Neo. The two girls, after confirming, walk directly to the door and then disappear unnoticed by anyone else.

Kurumi Pov

Watching Neo when she cast an illusion to hide that we are standing at the door of a house that is not ours, I take action myself. First I use an old trick when I try to sense the shadow behind the door after which I create a clone in it. The clone task is to see if there is a silent alarm if there is no such alarm, the clone's task is to find the key to open the door or open it if it has a lock on the other side.

While waiting for a while I look at Neo and think about what happened today which makes me feel embarrassed.

'Stupid cat'

I think remembering how this cat seduces me with its cute, silly appearance and soft fur. Then a memory comes to my mind of Neo giving me a kiss on the cheek, I suspect it was as a way of thanking me for the sandwich I made her.

Honestly in my opinion it wasn't that much to deserve it after all we always eat already prepared stuff and that's not exactly healthy.

'Just making a sandwich isn't hard either, but it's nice to know that my pink mouse likes it.'

With these thoughts, I hear the door opening and upon opening it, inside stands my clone who immediately melts away after completing the task. I myself feel the aura unused by the clone return to me. Before going inside, however, me and Neo put on a pair of medical gloves and then with the door open, Neo casts an illusion to camouflage us and then we go inside closing the door behind us.

Of course, this way of creating an illusion is much more tiring because the illusion has to change with every step we take, and this illusion has to camouflage us all 360° around.

' That's why we are going to do our work quickly.'

With this thought we move discreetly from room to room looking to see if anyone is home but is asleep. Finally, there is no one in the house and then the pink mouse destroys the illusion around us and changes our appearance, this is just in case there are hiden cameras here.

Then we both look around the house and except a few thousand lien that we "borrowed" not to take too much because then someone will realize. Then we enter the office where there is a desk on which is a small disk .

" wait a minute"

I say to Neo after which I touch the small disk firing up the cholographic screen which is the latest computer straight from Atlas .

'Luckily the guy didn't even have a password .'

Then I look around the files on the disk I see family photo. On the photo there is the guy from the warehouse, a woman probably his wife and a girl with a black cat in her hands.

Leaving that aside I look through other docs, chart data, text and voice messages. Wanting to check the messages I notice that these are blocked with a password. Sighing, I walk away from the device to see if there are any passwords in the house.
