Multiversal Adventure?

A life of mediocrity. Dying normally and fading after the passing of a long time. It always bothered me whenever I thought about it. I want to be remembered, to leave a mark in history and not fade due to the passage of time. I died once and in this life it will be different. PS: The cover is not mine, don't sue me.

C11 Absurd! I like it!

{ A/N: There was some minor mistake in the last chapter. Selena's hair is ash grey, not white. I wrote that chapter with breaks in between so I made a mistake there. Also, I was busy due to the exams last week so it was a late update.

Now, I would like to thank you for reading until this chapter. I will continue writing this fic knowing that my work is recognized at least by some people. Thank you again and... WE'LL GO BACK TO THE STORY! }

–·– Cat Raye Manor –·–

Nikola Tesla, one of the greatest scientists in the world, looked around this room— no, this lab, slacked jawed with shock and glee.

He is now inside the lab where Alexia mainly did her work. Although not many, he saw a magnificent lab and an invention capable of changing the world!

"Do you like what you see, Sir Tesla?" Alexia chuckled at his expression and looked at the the fruit of her hardship for the past two years.

Tesla closely inspected them with glee, "I don't just like it! It's fantastic!"

Tesla took the sleek black tablet and held it in his hands. Inspecting it closely, he saw that this new telephone is at least a few decades ahead.

If what Alexia said was true, that this telephone can call any other telephones like it wherever they are in the world, then this is really brilliant!

He himself tried to establish a united wireless telephone network but lacked the funds to make it a reality. He also switched his focus so it did not bother him much and Alexia's invention is much better than what he envisioned.

Tesla looked at Alexia, "How does the phone send it's signals?"

Alexia smiled and said, "It produces radio waves at certain frequencies that can be interpreted by the built in chip of the phone. Then the radio wave emitted by the phone will be redirected and amplified by the satellite."

{ A/N: I just said scientific bullshit don't take it seriously, I don't know if that's how phones work }

"What an ingenious idea! How many has been made so far?" Tesla exclaimed.

Alexia held her chin and said contemplatively, "Hmm... So far, only about ten phones has been made and finished as I just finished the prototype two months ago. All of them are connected to my private network now."

He looked at the phone with a glint in his eyes. Unlike telephones that can only be used as contact or to call someone; this new phone had a camera, a calculator, a clock, etc. In addition, the camera is colored and clear. Just thinking of how to combine a telephone and a camera is already hard.

Tesla sighed and shook his head, "What a shame. As they say, today's wonders are tomorrow's norm. If only I can find the right material, then I also..."

Alexia looked deeply at Tesla's face before hesitantly asking, "Do you have anything troubling you?"

Tesla shook his head, "Nothing. I would not like to trouble you over my matters. Your major field of study can't help me much."

After saying this, he looked at the huge apparatus behind them covered in tarp and said, "You also have your own matters to do so I won't trouble you. Though you invited me in hopes of asking my opinion, I think I can't help you much little lady."

"Don't say that. I haven't said what I need your opinion with is, can't you at least hear me out," Alexia smiled wryly.

She thought to hear about his opinion. He was a genius of his generation after all, he had many inventions and he contributed things that are going to be taken for granted in the future modern era. She trusts that as an inventor he would have deep knowledge of physics.

Tesla exhaled and smiled, "Okay, little lady. I'll hear you out. What do you want help with?"

"Well, um... it's hard to say. I have been trying to build something that would probably cause a world war so..." Alexia fiddled and looked at the back.

That thing is finished and she basically completely synchronized with her template to a 100% just a week ago after over two years. But the problem is that although she finished making it able to transfer memories, she can't figure out how to physically transfer without any damages to the body.

"If you don't tell me I won't be able to help you," Tesla said as he stared at the apparatus in contemplation. He saw this thing as he entered the room and it occupied at least ⅕ of the lab so it's definitely important. Maybe this is what she wants help with.

Alexia exhaled and said, "You're right. I need you to help me with this. Although I would figure it out myself later regardless, I would like to speed up my work and you were the only one trust worthy."

Alexia walked towards the huge structure and as soon as she arrived in front of it, she tugged and took off the tarp covering it. Inside the tarp is a large mechanical structure with cylindrical ends. At the leftmost side is what seems to be a computer along with custom made headset.

"What is this?" Tesla looked at the structure with a gleam in his eyes. He can't comprehend what this thing does.

"Well, this is a project that I worked on since I was eight," Alexia looked at Tesla and said, "a Time Leap Machine."

Shock can't be enough to describe Tesla's feelings as soon as he heard that. Her worry that this may cause a war is reasonable. Although he invented an anti-gravity machine before, he really can't hold a candle to her.

Tesla laughed, "I really am getting old. For you to make a time machine, you would be written in history."

He thought that if he had enough money, then he would be capable of building 'that'. Unfortunately, he really can't find anyone and if he do got money for research he has no material to make it. All things in Earth is incompatible. Thinking of this, Tesla let out a sigh.

"This is not my greatest and most prided work because it's incomplete," Alexia said.

Tesla looked at her curiously, "What do you mean?"

"This is a time leap machine, not a time travel machine. This baby, Future Lab Christina Version 1.1.12 (FLCV1.1.12), can compress human memory into a signal or some type of radio wave that I call D-Mail and sending it back to the past. Meaning that the past 'you' will get the memory of future 'you', hence technically traveling to the past."

"But what I want is a machine that can physically transport a person back and forth in time. The problem with my time leap machine is that you can only go back in time and not forward. It can also only travel back to up to two months."

Tesla looked at the machine and asked, "Did you test it already?"

Alexia sighed in response, "That's the case... I don't dare test it. Although in theory it would work I don't know what would happen if there are some unforseen circumstances."

Alexia was not honest in there. Although it is true that she haven't tested it, she's sure that it will work cause her knowledge was given and approved by the system.

"Well, I can't help you with your problem. I also struggle to find the right material to my masterpiece that can't be realized. Materials would be a major problem for you, little lady."

Tesla looked at the machine again before saying, "It seems that I wouldn't be able to help you. I would like to take my leave."

Alexia just sighed and signaled for Bianca to escort him out, "Thank you for coming, Sir Tesla. Bianca, accompany him out."

Bianca shyly bowed and said, "P-Please follow me."

A few minutes after the two left, with no one else inside the lab except Alexia staring at the time leap machine, a familiar voice sounded out.

"My creator really is amazing. For you to be able to build this, although it was almost impossible to make them."

{ A/N: What a fucking cliff hanger! If the author take a week to make just one chapter, I would send him to Jesus. The lack of feedback made the author become lazy, it's your fault for not giving any stones. }
