"They want what?"

"The satan asked for a meeting in the hope of renting this place as the meeting place."

"We are not ready to host another meeting between factions. Don't they know about it?"

"I think they know about it, master. However, they want to exploit this situation to show their new relationship with the other faction and intimidate us, so we sign a pact with them."

"Urgh. I'm not too fond of power play in politics. Send them a letter that says we are accepting the meeting but also implying that we will most likely refuse their request. We cannot host another meeting between factions right now. Especially that it will likely also get attacked by the outside force."

"Get attacked?"

"Yes. The meeting is most likely between the Norse faction and the Biblical faction, but I know that someone is too fond of this situation and most likely will attack the meeting."

"Master, Do you know who will be the one attacking the peace treaty meeting this time?"

"Loki, the Evil God of Norse Pantheon."

"But why did he attack the meeting?"

"He wants Ragnarok."

"Ragnarok… Is he stupid?"

"Maybe, I don't know what is inside his head."

Sometimes I hate getting involved in politics. It is a really different type of fighting than your usual fight. I need to use all my brainpower to think about what the other party wants every time they come to Romania. I feel like a paranoid person. Every time someone arrives in Romania, I need to think about their intention, what they want, what is their end goal, and whether they will become a threat to Romania or something like that. It makes me feel dirty, thinking all that negative thought, but as the Vongola family leader, I need to do it.

Anyway, I don't know what Satan is thinking that I will accept the request after seeing my home get destroyed in front of my own eyes.

"When they say they will arrive in Faysummit?"

"Tonight, Master"

"How many people come here?"

"Sirzech Lucifer, Serafall Leviathan, Michael and Azazel."

"Michael and Azazel, also come here?"

"Yes. Michael says want to talk about Clarent, and Azazel wants to talk about something private with you, master."

Medea and the elves already rebuild the barrier that covers all of Romania, but they don't have enough time to improve it yet. The reason is that Medea and the elves go from city to city and rebuild their barrier and try to improve it as fast as they can. Not only that, but Medea also helps me with all the paperwork I have.

While the task of rebuilding the barrier can be passed to Kushina, she is busy searching for any spy that successfully stays inside Romania before the barrier is rebuilt.

I couldn't have been impressed by the efficiency of the Vongola Family. Not only have they already finished rebuilding all the destroyed buildings but they also already remake their barrier around the city. However, they remake the barrier, but they also increase the barrier's defensive capabilities by at least one hundred percent. I know about this by sensing the barrier's density and the mana that is released by the barrier.

However, there is something different in this city than the one in the past. Not only does the wall around the city become bigger and denser, but I can also see some type of rune on its surface. The canon on the wall also increased in number.

There is also more guard patrolling around the city than in the past. I guess I can see why Lord Vongola increased the guard duty after the last disaster.

Anyway, we arrived in front of the main gate to the Vongola castle. The reason why we come here is to request the Vongola Family to host another Peace Treaty meeting.

I don't know why my brother and Serafall-sama agree to this plan. I don't think Lord Vongola will be happy to host another peace treaty meeting after the last disaster. Still, my brother says that he is forced to do so because the council wants to show that the newly formed Biblical faction has another ally. They want to increase the Vongola Family pressure, so they agree to join the pact with the Biblical Faction.

I wouldn't say I like this plan because they are stupid. We should give them our support. The disaster to happen because the Khaos Brigade is targeting the meeting, not the Vongola Family. If not for us asking the Vongola Family to host the meeting, then the Khaos Brigade should not attack Faysummit and make the relationship between the Devil Race and Vongola Family damaged.

Instead, they showed off their so-called power to the Vongola Family. I don't know if they know about it, but I think the Vongola Family has the same power as the Devil race or maybe more in terms of military. They have modern weapons of destruction that can be used by mundane people, and that said weapon can kill even a High-Rank devil easily.

And they want to show power to the Vongola family?

While yes, the Vongola family doesn't have the same prestige as the other faction, their military prowess is something that we can't ignore. Sadly for us, the council did not see that; they only see that the Vongola family is a young faction that doesn't have the same prestige as their clan.

I think they are stupid.

The Vongola Family also has the medical advantage that even the Sitri family cannot reach. However, in their blindness, they still think that the Phoenix Tear is enough to save the entire race. They did not think that Phoenix Tear cannot be produced every single day, unlike the potion the Vongola Family produce.

Not only that, the Vongola potion is not too far behind in terms of healing prowess to the Phoenix Tears. They think that the potion they get to cure the plague in the past is the potion Vongola Family produces. They didn't know that it was a potion that was already combined with water so that it could be given to a lower class devil. Maybe they know about it but decide to ignore it.

Now I know Sona struggles to open up the rating school for all devils regardless of their status. The elder will hinder her progress as much as possible, so the noble will be the only devil who gets proper education in rating games. Now I know how cousin Sairaorg tried his best to achieve his dream to create the underworld where any devil, regardless of their background, can succeed in their dream.

"Welcome to my place! Please come inside. I already prepared some food to eat for all of you."

I snap from my thoughts when Lord Vongola greets us and invites us to his castle.

If I become the Lady of Gremory house, the first thing I will do is to repair our relationship with the Vongola Family.
