Hero Faction II

*Medea POV*

Look like master Lexian able to defeat the magic-user with ease. As expected from Master Lexian. I look at the opponent in front of me. This man in front of me calls himself Heracles and the self-proclaimed inheritor of Heracles spirit. I don't know if it is true or not, but if he fights Heracles, I know he will be dead before he can blink his eyes.

"Is that the only thing you can do?"

"Heh, this is coming from a woman that fights from a long distance. Mah, I guess it is a fitting style for a woman."

This bastard. He wanted to fight, didn't he? Then let's give him a fight.

I use my mist flame to create a dozen monsters to attack the Heracles copycat while I create Heracles from my memory. After completing the body, I put a magic crystal inside the clone body to make it more durable from before. Not only that, but I also create a rune that makes the clone move like Heracles that I know. As for the finishing touch, I put another crystal inside the clone body, but this time, it was a Lightning flame crystal I created in the past. With this, the clone should have fighting capabilities of the real Heracles or at least almost all of it.

After I finished with the preparation, I let Heracles the seconds loose on the battlefield.

Now let me see how the inheritor of Heracles' spirit fights against the Heracles, one of the crews of the Argo. The one that completes the twelve impossible labor. The greatest hero of Greek Mythology.

Now let the fight begin.

*Jeanne POV*

"▂▂▃▃▅▅ ▂▂▃▃▅▅!!!"

*BOOM*

What with this beast?!? We try every attack we can, but it did not do anything to this giant beast. The creature has the face of a man with black skin and a spike coming out of his elbow. The beast did not wear any armor except a kilt with a little bit of armor around it. The beast also holds a stone slab that is carved like a sword-ax.

"▂▂▃▃▅▅"

I snap from my thoughts as I see the beast begin to charge toward us once again.

"Her-kun, getaway for a minute and prepare your Balance Breaker. We will finish this monster once and for all."

"Roger."

I stab my sword into the ground and create numerous holy swords from the floor to block the beast charges and trap him inside.

"Now!"

"Take this! Detonation - Mighty Comet!"

*BOOM**BOOM*

"Did we do it?"

I look at the cage I created, and a few seconds later, I see the giant beast still standing on its feet even though Her-kun balance breaker blasts his upper body.

"Hahahahaha. The beast is nothing to the might of Heracles! Hahahahaha!"

I smile at his words. However, before I could even say a word to my comrade, I felt a chill on my back.

"▂▂▃▃▄▄▅▅!"

What?!?

I look at the beast that slowly regenerates his body, and a few seconds later, Its body finishes regenerating.

How?!? What kind of beast we are facing.

"Her-kun! Can you use your Balance Breaker again?!?"

"No! I need time to recharge it. Give me a minute before I can use it again."

"Very well. We will hold this beast until you can use your Balance Breaker again."

I look at the beast who begins to charge at us with a speed that should not be possible with its body size.

Seeing the beast coming at us, I create a wall made of a holy sword to hold it for a minute, but to my surprise, the creature punches through the wall with ease and continues its charges at us.

"ORA!"

I see Hera-kun charges at the beast with his Sacred Gear still activated and punches the incoming creature.

*BOOM**BOOM**BOOM*

Hera-kun does a quick punch at the beast and creates an explosion every time his punch hits its target.

"Impossible!!!"

How?!?

How can this beast not have any mark on its body even after receiving Hera-kun punch while his sacred activated?

"▂▂▃▃▄▄▅▅!"

Without being able to defend himself, I see Hera-kun get thrown away by that beast. When the creature looks at me, I immediately trap it inside the same cage I trapped him earlier. I even made the cage tougher than before by three times. I begin to release a relief breath as I know that the beast will not be able to get out. Now we only need to wait for Hera-kun Balance Breaker to recharge and...

*BOOM* *BOOM* *CRACK*

All the plans inside my head get thrown outside as I see the cage made of holy sword begin to break, and a second later, I see the beast get free from its prison. Seeing the incoming creature, I decide to use my trump card.

"Balance Breaker: Stake Victim Dragon"

I see numerous holy swords appear from the ground and creating a small hill made of the holy sword before it cracked, and coming from it is a white dragon.

"Attack!"

*ROAR*

As my balance breaker roars, it begins to charge at the beast. When it appears in front of the creature, my Dragon opens its mouth and tries to bite the beast's head off. However, before my Dragon could bite the beast head off, I see the beast's hand begin to blur as the creature starts to roar as well.

"▂▂▃▃▄▄▅▅!! ▂▂▃▃▄▄▄▄▅▅▅▅!!"

What… How…

I couldn't but look in shock at the attack that beast delivered to my Dragon that it quickly destroyed using an unknown method.

What is happening?!? How? The only thing I see the beast hand begin to blur before suddenly my Dragon is gone from that attack.

"Jeanne, watch out!"

I snap from my thoughts as I see Hera-kun appear in front of me with his sacred gear activated and block the attack from the beast.

"Urg. That hurt, but I have you now. Go! Detonation - Mighty Comet"

I see the beast get thrown off by the rocket before it detonates in the air. However, before I could take a breath, I hear a roar coming from the smoke, and I see the beast begin to descend toward our location without any visible damage on its body.

"Hera-kun, Watch out!"

However, before he can dodge the incoming attack, the beast successfully hit him with its sword-ax. I sigh in relief when I see Hera-kun able to block the attack by compressing his sacred gear aura around his shoulder.

*Splurt*

I widen my eyes when I see the beast sword-ax begin to cut off Hera-Kun's arm even after he uses his sacred gear to block the attack.

"You bastard!"

I create the most powerful holy sword I could make with my sacred gear and charge at the beast. With my boosted speed from Ophis snake, I appear in front of the monster and slice its neck off, but I see that my sword is not deep enough to cut its head off.

I leap away from the beast when I see it try to attack me with its weapon. After dodging the incoming attack, I charge at the creature once again and thrust my sword at its neck that slowly regenerates. When the beast blocks my attack, I quickly create an exact copy of the weapon I hold and push it to the beast's neck. However, to my surprise, my attack did not work against the monster even though I used the same sword that made a gash on its neck.

"▂▂▃▃▄▄!"

Urg.

Before I can register what happened, I feel my body gets slammed by a dragon. As I open my eyes, I see that I get thrown away by that beast quite far away from my previous position. I look at Hera-kun, already using his Phoenix tear to reattach his arm.

As I get up and ready to help Hera-kun, I feel another presence appears behind me.

"Rule Breaker"

Before I could do anything, the woman that summoned this beast plunged her dagger into my chest, and suddenly, I felt an intense pain that I had never felt before.

"ARRRRGGGGHHHH"

The pain continues for who knows long before suddenly it stops. I feel my entire body begin to lose its strength, and the last thing I see is the woman holding a beautiful silver sword in her hand while muttering.

"So this is the infamous Sacred Gear. Fascinating"
