CH 11- Training

A/N:My opinion:James Potter was not a good person.

"I want Lily Potter's belonging." I said.

"What?"came the surprised voice of Harry and almost everyone.

Millicent and Ron looked grossed out for some reason. And then it hit me that I phrased it wrong. Oh shit.

"Dude!"said Notts disgusted.

"I meant, i need her books,her journals, diaries,anything that she used in her studies." I elaborated.

"Why?" Harry asked clearly surprised.

"Well first of all she was smart, one of the best at Charms and Potions so i mean her notes can help me but most importantly because of you."

"ME??"

"yes Potter, you, you are an oddity, you shouldn't have survived that killing curse and i don't believe that in any way a Kid could have destroyed a wizard as powerful as Voldemort, it's impossible, I am sure it must have been something your Mother did, some ritual, ruin or something which saved you." I said.

"Professor Dumbledore, always says that is was My parents love.'"

"Oh come on Harry that is Hollywood level shit, that love stuff only works in Movies, we live in reality, i mean you of who lives with muggle should have more common sense, we have rules that let us understand things differently than magic people, we muggle are raised questioning things being curious, people like Weasley Notts are not raised with curiosity they already believe that everything is possible that is why they never question never look for what's underneath the underneath, i mean half the people in our class don't know how magic works, they just learn the incantation and spam it like its a game, Look at Hermoine she is a bookworm even then she is curious enough, she looks for how the spell works, learns the correct pronunciation and then performs spells, she is easily better than 90% of people in here, I wish you were curious too, but alas you aren't" I said sadly.

This was actually the problem I had with the wizarding world, the just believed anything was possible, they never questioned things, they were like frogs in a well with limited worldview, never being curious.

Ofcourse there were certain exceptions, like Nicolas Flammel, that guy pretty much revived Alchemy on his own, but people like him were too far and few in between and this was the reason the wizarding community was stale and stagnant.

"But i don't have any of her stuff with me." Harry said .

"Ask around, maybe it was desposited at Gringotts in your vault or with some confidant of your parents, I just need a promise from you that you will give them to me as soon as you get them." I said.

"Okay, I promise."

"Wonderful then come on let me teach you the Patronus charm, let me warn you that its pretty advance magic, but its the only defense against the Dementors who have taken a liking to you."

The next fifteen minutes i explained the theory behind the patronus charm to Harry, Millicent and Notts.

"So in short you have to be thinking of a happy pure memory and done you have it, no special wand movement or difficult pronunciation required, even a Dunderhead can perform it, but you don't see everyone spamming it cause not everyone has a happy enough memory."

"Expecto Patronum" I said producing a mist that seemed to be taking a shape but collapsed and failed to do so.

"See there, i can only produce a mist right now, and i get tired thats cause of magical exhaustion, patronus takes a lot of strength from you. So start practicing."

Harry, Notts and Millicent started practicing while Ron sat in the corner, I was not interested in teaching him and after seeing that i was disinterested in teaching him, he just went and sat down in the corner.

"You know you aren't that good of a teacher."Millicent complained.

"No, I am, Look how better Neville is being doing in Potions since he teamed up with me." I said.

"How did you make him do better? Longbottom has gone a whole week without any accidents, I can't remember the last time that happened?" asked Notts.

"Well Neville is just easily distracted, you know half the time he knows what he is doing, its only when Snape pays attention to him or he feels someone is watching him he panics, and makes mistake."

"So how do you help him with that?" asked Harry.

"Simple we sing, I taught him a few songs and i keep him singing with me, he is so focused on singing and potions that he doesn't notice anyone else. He really likes The Beatles." I said.

"So that's what you both keep murmuring, i just thought that the both of you go mad." said Ron.

"Well, yeah, and I should probably give Neville a walkman as a gift for christmass with an awesome mixtape" i thought.

Harry was powerful, more powerful than anyone of us in that room, you could feel the magic twist and fluctuate to do his bidding like he was favoured by it, Life is so unfair getting some people more some less.

"Well i really don't expect any of you to get it in the first try. If any of you did then it would have been shocking." I said.

"What kind of memories should they be? I am trying but they aren't enough." Harry asked.

"Well that depends on you, it could be just you getting your favorite ice-cream or watching Star Wars for the first time."

All the non-muggleborn clearly not clueless, Wait why does Harry looked clueless as well.

"Emm, Harry you have seen Star Wars right?"I asked.

"No.., I don't get to see a lot of movies." Said Harry, a little shy.

"Terminator? Back To The Future?" I said.

Seeing a lost look on Harry's face I lunched forward and grabbed Harry from his robes, and yanked him with me.

'He is lighter than i expected'

"Hey, where you taking him?" Ron shouted getting up.

"I don't know but somewhere where i can get him to see Star Wars. I finally realise why you are like this Harry, you were raised like a sheep, with only grazing as his sole aim in life. I mean you do realise every kid who watched Star wars wants to use the Force and we are lucky enough to be able to do that, Do you even understand how many people will kill for that Harry?" I said, histerically.

"Freaking Harry Potter hasn't watched Star Wars, how the hell is that possible?" I spoke while dragging Harry.
