Saving Someone

Jiang Ye hurriedly left Global Tower. After getting into the car, he called and asked, "Have you confirmed the location? I'll be right there!"

A few minutes ago, Aunt Wang suddenly called and said that she knew where Jiang Wei had locked Tang Xue up.

Jiang Ye immediately left the press conference. He didn't have the patience to argue with Huang Kai and the others. He immediately went to the place where Tang Xue was imprisoned.

They drove for more than an hour and arrived at an abandoned power plant in the outer ring of Hai City.

Jiang Ye hurriedly got out of the car and rushed into the power plant.

There were a few of Jiang Wei's men guarding the entrance of the power plant. The people Jiang Ye brought quickly controlled them. Jiang Ye pushed open the old iron door in front of him. The rusty iron door slowly opened, and a strange smell came from inside. Dust flew everywhere.

Jiang Ye's expression was very ugly. When he thought of the woman he loved being locked up in this place and starving, he wished he could tie Jiang Wei up and beat him to death.

Jiang Ye hurriedly walked in and soon saw a woman in a white dress lying on the ground.

Hearing Jiang Ye's footsteps, Tang Xue slowly raised her head, and the tears that she had prepared instantly fell. She looked at Jiang Ye pitifully and said in a hoarse voice, "Ah-Ye, you're finally here…"

Jiang Ye looked at Tang Xue's face and couldn't react for a moment.

However, to Tang Xue's shock, Jiang Ye only held her arm with his hand and had no intention of hugging her!

Tang Xue was so angry that she almost vomited blood. Looking at Jiang Ye's not-so-excited and enthusiastic expression, she felt a little nervous and uneasy. She thought about how she and Tang Shuang were two different people after all. Perhaps Jiang Ye would have a different feeling.

Jiang Ye waved his hand. A few men carried a stretcher over and brought Tang Xue to the hospital.

When they arrived at the hospital, the doctor examined Tang Xue in the ward. Jiang Ye stood outside with a slight frown, as if he was thinking about something.

Why had Chen Chen not contacted him yet?

When he went to look for Tang Xue, he asked Chen Chen to stay in the Global Tower to settle everything before following him. However, after such a long time, Chen Chen did not even call to report.

Jiang Ye dialed Chen Chen's number, but no one picked up.

"Mrs. Jiang is awake now. Do you want to see her?" The doctor turned sideways and said enthusiastically.

Jiang Ye walked into the ward and saw Tang Xue lying on the bed with a pale face. When Tang Xue saw him enter, she smiled brightly and shyly. Then, she reached out to him. "Ah-Ye, are you here to see me?"

Jiang Ye walked to the side of the bed and grabbed Tang Xue's wrist. He quickly stuffed her hand under the blanket and said calmly, "Don't catch a cold."

Tang Xue thought that Jiang Ye was concerned about her, so she did not feel anything wrong. Then, she smiled sweetly. "Ah-Ye, it's great that you can see. My efforts are not in vain." Tang Xue deliberately emphasized the last sentence.

"Yes, thank you. I'll make it up to you." Jiang Ye looked at Tang Xue and said what she wanted to hear.
