Mr. Fang's Feisty Mistress

Who made the rule that a woman can't be the first to confess her feelings to a man? If there was one, then it didn't matter to this young woman. She had just run over in other to catch up with him. Mr. Fang paused briefly in his steps and turned to give her a good glance after adjusting his reading glasses. “You look like one,” he said in a deep voice before continuing in his steps. How could Zhang Liling let him leave like that when it was a matter of urgency? She quickly chased after him and yelled, “Mr. Fang, you really have to take this stray cat in.” "I don't accept stray cats, I only accept humans," Mr. Fang replied as a slight smile turned up on his face. Suspicion

"Mr. Butler, you can order takeouts just for tonight, tomorrow when my fate has been decided, I will start to do a good job."

Without waiting for his response, Zhang Liling walked away. The butler could only say after her, "Call me Butler Gu."

Whether she heard him or not, he had no idea because she continued walking off without a response.

In the butler's mind, he was wondering what kind of housekeeper Zhang Liling was. Sighing, he left to check on the laundry he was doing.

****************************

"Sir, you said earlier you won't be having dinner, have you changed your mind?" Bolin was asking so he would be sure of the next step to take. And the next step would be calling Zhang Liling to whip out something for him.

Mr. Fang glanced at him from behind and replied with a low tone, "I still won't have dinner."

Bolin shifted his gaze back to the road while saying, "The contracts for your housekeeper and butler, are on top of your desk in the study."

"What are their names?"

"Miss Zhang and Butler Gu…" Bolin replied.

That name Miss Zhang rang a bell in Mr. Fang's head. Surprisingly, he couldn't think of any other person with that name other than that audacious student of his.

Shaking his head as he thought how ridiculous his pondering was and glanced at the night view through the window.

Seeing that he remained quiet, Bolin asked, "Sir, do you need me to directly pass a little information about them to you?"

"Don't disrupt my thoughts, I will take a look at their files later,"

If Mr. Fang had said yes, then he would have heard his housekeeper's full name and known his earlier pondering was right, then he would have stormed home and dragged her out of wherever she was to question her.

Unfortunately, he wasn't in the mood to hear anything relating to his home employees, as he had other important thoughts and ideas to think about.

A few minutes later, the Audi pulled over in front of the villa, and before Bolin could step out to open the car door for Mr. Fang, he had already helped himself out of the car.

Since that work has been done, Bolin was left with bringing out his suitcase from the car and following him inside the house.

"Welcome back, Mr. Fang," The butler greeted Mr. Fang and nodded at Bolin after he opened the door for them.

Mr. Fang stopped in his steps as his gaze swept through the big living area. What he was thinking about, or he was looking for, was what Bolin and Butler Gu had no idea about.

Thinking that perhaps he was searching for the housekeeper, Bolin asked, "Are you…"

Bolin could not go on because Mr. Fang walked out the next second. He could only wave at the Butler before following Mr. Fang, whose long strides made it impossible for him to meet up easily.

Mr. Fang had already taken the steps, and Bolin was about to join him when he heard rushed footsteps. Of course, there was no way the butler would walk like that, so it had to be the new housekeeper.

Bolin paused in his steps and watched her rush towards him. He was speechless and wondered if she has for a minute forgotten her manners after learning that Mr. Fang had returned home.

Surely, Zhang Liling learned they were back from the sound of the car and quickly rushed over only to see Bolin at the foot of the steps.

There was a bit of disappointment on her face when she saw only Bolin, but she smiled hurriedly and greeted Bolin with a slight bow.

"Hello Miss Zhang," Bolin replied.

Mr. Fang who had already made a turn, and was on the second part, heard Bolin calling out that name again and paused in his steps with a slight frown.

"Is Mr. Fang back, would he like anything?" Zhang Liling asked with a big smile on her face. She looked like she couldn't wait to start serving Mr. Fang, and also see his face.

Oh, how she has missed seeing his face for 48 hours now!

Mr. Fang heard Zhang Liling's voice and felt it was familiar after thinking back to the times he had encountered and spoken with her.

The voice he just heard was familiar, and the same way this housekeeper of his addressed him, sounded similar to how that stubborn student of his used to call him.

Mr. Fang was about to bring his foot down and come back to see what this housekeeper looked like and if he was worried for nothing, but he heard Bolin's reply to her and decided against it. He continued in his steps up the stairs.

"Miss Zhang, if Mr. Fang needs anything, he would call you for it. For now, you can relax," Bolin said in a calm stance, and Zhang Liling nodded with a smile.

After Bolin walked away, Zhang Liling sighed and turned to leave. Now being idle made her remember that she was yet to reply to her mother's texts, so she went to reply to them, although her mother wouldn't receive the message until she got off the plane.

Bolin left the house after putting Mr. Fang's workbag in his study and meeting him in his bedroom.

Mr. Fang took his time freshening up and returned to his bedroom dressed in a set of comfy clothes. He still had work to do in his study, and he didn't deem it fit to wear his night robe for it.

Looking at his bottle of meds, he badly wanted to take them, but unfortunately, there was no glass of water or bottle of water there.

"What is wrong with this new housekeeper?" Mr. Fang said with furrowed brows before picking up his bottle of meds and leaving for his study with it.

After settling down, he picked up the telephone on his desk and made a call to the ground floor, and the Butler picked it up after a few rings.

"Hello Sir, it's Butler Gu," The Butler said immediately he answered the call after seeing the line. He already knew it was the line in Mr. Fang's study.

Hearing the male voice, Mr. Fang's brows furrowed as he gave out an order. "Tell the housekeeper to put a bottle of water in my bedroom and bring me another to my study immediately."

"Yes, Sir," The butler replied and only put down the telephone after he hung up.

Quickly, the Butler went to find Zhang Liling while thinking about the kind of place she was brought from. She even forgot to do an important job. What has she been doing all day?
