Leonard looked into Sharon's innocent eyes, his eyes softening. "The dress is just as I imagined. It suits you well."

He lowered his body, leaned over, and whispered hoarsely in her ear, "You look gorgeous."

Sharon's ears immediately turned red.

A faint smile appeared on his face and he straightened his back as if nothing happened. 

It might be her imagination, but she couldn't shake off the feeling that Leonard had flirted with her just now.

"Melanie, my birthday banquet is in three days. You're coming, aren't you?" Sharon asked Melanie, who was sitting across from her. 

They were chatting during the class break. 

Melanie pondered for a moment and smiled. "Well, what will you do if I don't?"

"Then we're no longer friends!" Sharon replied without hesitation.

"D*mn!" Melanie rolled her eyes.

Sharon laughed, "I'm serious. If you don't come, that's it for our friendship."
