TINA
“I’m picking you up shortly. We have a cake tasting to go to.”
My eyes widened. Oh, no. That completely slipped off my mind. When the gown was taken off from the hanger and placed inside the repair room for other improvements and papers to be filled in, I sat down on one of the cushy chairs.
“Wait, that was today?”
Jiego chuckled on the other line.
“Yes, love. Are you done in there?”
“About to. I just have to fill in some papers then I’m good.”
“Great. I’ll wait for you outside. I’m almost there.”
I ended the call after saying yes. When the papers were handed to me, I filled them in as fast as I can. Jiego and I have a full-packed day to complete our appointments. Also, I’m excited with the cake tasting. And that’s not because I’m hungry as hell.
“Here. Is there something else I have to do?” – I asked.
“No, miss.”
