Ashton was giving a murderous looked towards the waiter who came to deliver the two pizza that they had ordered. The air surrounding them had turned cold and chilly making the waiter involuntarily shivered just standing closer to that table.

Phoenix's attention had been distracted by the tantalizing smells that wafted from the delicious looking pizza on the table. Her appetite that had died before had been resuscitated by the smell of the melted cheese on that hand stretch dough.

She reached for a slice and pulled it separating the slice from the perfect round shape of the pizza. Her eyes sparkled in delight when the combination of the cheese, sauce and the bread touched her tongue and tickled her taste buds.

Ashton smiled when he saw the satisfied look on Phoenix's face. His heart was crying in grievance for his unanswered question again, but he was glad that Phoenix enjoyed the food, which cajoled his paining heart a little.
