Episode 18

The air around Ben and Jayden thickened as the red and black energy swirling around Jayden intensified. Ben backed up as he watched Jayden's appearance begin to change. His eyes turned purple with red slits in the center, his hair became red with black highlights running through it, his teeth turned into fangs and his veins began to bulge from his skin. Sweat rolled down Ben's face as he prepared himself for Jayden's attack. A black wing sprung out of Jayden's back and it's feathers flowed through the energy around it, black orbs formed behind Jayden and began to orbit his body as the energy around him dissipated. Ben braced himself, "You think because you put on a little light show that this form is supposed to intimidate me?" He asked. Jayden glared at Ben, "Your mouth keeps moving...let me fix that..." He replied. There was a loud snap as Jayden's body vanished and reappeared in front of Ben. "Holy Shi...." Ben began to say. Jayden drove his fist into Ben's face shattering his helmet and sending him flying into the wall. There was a loud explosion and debris filled the air. The virtual world began to fade back to the white room. Jayden walked towards Ben, cracking his knuckles. "You talk big...but now whose the one on top?" Jayden asked. Ben slowly got to his feet, blood dripping from his mouth. "I'll admit that took me by surprise, but that was just a coincide...." Ben began to reply. Jayden teleported again, driving his foot into Ben's stomach sending him flying into the air, he then teleported above him, grabbing him and slinging him down into the ground. The ground exploded and Ben laid in the crater. Jayden hovered above, "What's the matter? Is this all you have in you?" he asked. Ben coughed and wiped the blood off his face, "I misjudged you..." He replied, "but you know...you aren't the only one with surprises." Jayden extended arm towards Ben, "Enough of your bull shit....CEPTAR CORE!" he shouted. A black orb formed in Jayden's hand and a blast of energy erupted from it, surging down towards Ben. "HOKARTHY!" Ben shouted. A bright light formed around Ben, deflecting the blast and causing it to explode nearby. "What the hell?" Jayden said. Ben's armor began to fade off of his body and his hair grew longer, turning golden yellow. A golden robe with an armored chest plate resembling a lions head covered his chest. A golden robe appeared under the faded armor as a gold ring formed behind Ben's back. The yellow energy around him swirled as Jayden glared. "You think your the only one who can summon great power when needed?" Ben asked. Jayden extended his arm, "It doesn't matter what power you have! PHANTOM BLAZE!" He shouted as black and purple flames erupted from his hand and engulfed Ben. Ben began laughing as the light around him extinguished the flames. "You can't do anything against me now!" Ben said, "This is Hokarthy's true power!" Jayden stated in shock as Ben teleported in front of him. "Now die," Ben said as he placed his hand on Jayden's chest, "CELESTIAL RAPIER!" A blast of golden light pierced through Jayden's chest. "Wha..." Jayden said as he coughed up blood. Ben smiled, "Light will triumph this fight, and Oracle will continue to punish the weak." Jayden fell to the ground and laid motionless.
