Episode 17

Jayden ran down the hallways of the Oracle facility. "Stop right there!" An Oracle Operative shouted. Jayden jumped into the air driving his foot into the operatives chest and sending him through a wall. "Damnit...where the hell is Ben?" Jayden thought to himself. "Looking for me?" a voice asked. Jayden could feel his heart throbbing as he turned. Ben stood at the far end of the hallway. "You..." Jayden said coldly. Ben smiled, "Your little friends aren't here to interrupt our fight this time," he said, "But our fight will not take place here...instead I've arranged somewhere more spacious." Jayden glared at Ben, "Fuck that....we end things here now..." Jayden said as he began to run towards Ben. Ben grinned and ran down the hall. There was an elevator near the end of the hallway and before Jayden could reach Ben he was already closing the door behind him. "I'll see you down below..." Ben said as the door shut. "BEN!" Jayden shouted as he slammed his fist into the elevator door. "Be careful..." Anubis said, "He's luring you." Jayden took a deep breath and nodded, "Your right..." He replied. Jayden pressed the button signaling the elevator to come to him. "Are you ready?" Anubis asked. Jayden nodded, "Ready than I have to be," he replied. "Ding" the elevator doors opened and Jayden stepped in. "He's going down to the ground floor..." Jayden said as he pressed the G button on the elevator. The doors closed and elevator began to make its way down to the bottom floor of the facility. Jayden could feel his heart throbbing as each tick from the elevator only intensified his pulse. "Stay calm and stay focused..." Anubis said, "We can do this together.." Jayden nodded, "This is going to be one hell of a fight," he replied. Anubis laughed, "Just be ready," he said. The elevator stopped and the doors opened. There was a very large open room that Jayden stepped into. The walls were white and the ground was too. At the end of the room Ben stood. "This is the training facility...I can turn this room into whatever I choose," he said. The room began to transform into a large open field in the center of mountains. Wind hit Jayden's face as he looked around. "It's almost as though this is all real..." Jayden said. Ben laughed, "This place is where we will finish where we left off..." He said. Jayden glared at Ben, "Anubis....COME!" He shouted. The ground underneath Jayden cracked as his Embodiment Orb began to glow with purple energy. The air around him began to spin and black energy burst through the cracks of the ground, consuming Jayden in darkness. Black armor encased Jayden's body and a helmet that resembled a hounds head formed on Jayden. "I'm not taking any chances with you..." Jayden said, "I'm going all out." Ben smiled, "Good..I wouldn't have it any other way..COME HORAHKTY!" There was a bright light that beamed out of Ben's Embodiment Orb and his body was also encased in golden armor with a bright yellow cape and a helmet that resembled that of a bird. The ground below Jayden and Ben shook as their power filled the air. "There's no holding back..." Ben said, "You will die here..." Jayden shook his head, "That's where you're wrong...you will fall here today..." He replied. A black scythe appeared in Jayden's hands, "IRON MAIDEN OPERA!" Jayden shouted. He slammed the scythe into the ground and black energy erupted towards Ben. Ben jumped into the air, "You will have to do better than that!" He said. Jayden laughed, "Think again," he replied. Ben looked down as the blast exploded and spikes of purples energy surged up towards him. "SHIT!" He shouted as he dodged the attack. "Not fast enough," Jayden said as he teleported in front of Ben. Jayden drove his fist into Ben's face sending him flying into the ground. Dust filled the air and Jayden landed on his feet. Ben coughed and stood, "Interesting...I wasn't expecting you to have come this far in nearly a year.." Ben said. Jayden picked up his scythe, "Don't underestimate me..." He said. Ben laughed, "We will see how much more you've improved," he said. Ben teleported into the air and threw his hands into the air. "DIVINE JUDGEMENT!" Ben shouted. A blast of golden energy formed above Ben as he aimed the blast at Jayden. "GET THROUGH THIS!" Ben shouted as he lunged the blast down towards Jayden. Jayden stepped back and held his arm out, "DARK SAGA OBLIVION!" He shouted. "Black and white energy erupted towards the blast and consumed it causing both blasts to explode. Ben smiled and teleported in front of Jayden kicking him into the ground. Jayden coughed up blood. "Shit he's fast..." Jayden said. "Just stay alert," Anubis said. Jayden got to his feet and charged Ben. The two began throwing jabs and kicks at one another. The ground below them cracked and moaned as each hit landed. There was a loud crash as bother Jayden and Ben both landed hits into each other's faces sending them flying backwards. The wind around them swirled. "Very impressive..." Ben said as he spit out blood, "You've lasted longer than I thought you would..." Jayden wipes the blood from his mouth, pieces of his armor had been shattered and was slowly falling off. "I'm not going to lose to you..." Jayden said. Ben laughed, "We will see..." Ben held out his hand and blue and yellow energy began forming around it. "Wait....that's...." Jayden said. "I'm glad you noticed...this attack is the same as yours...took me a while to master it but what better way to use it then on you..." Ben said, "KAISER SPHERE!" A sphere appeared in Ben's hand and blue energy swirled around it. "PREPARE YOURSELF!" Ben shouted as he began running towards Jayden. Jayden gritted his teeth and began charging black and red energy into his hand. "SIREN'S SPHERE!" Jayden shouted as he charged Ben. Both extended their arms and the two spheres collided. There was silence as both blasts consumed each other. The ground around them exploded and a massive shockwave erupted from the blasts that sent Jayden and Ben flying into the ground. Ben slowly got to his feet and stared at Jayden who was trying to stand. "Our attacks canceled out..." He said, "No matter...I'lol finish you with this..." Jayden looked up, his helmet had cracked and blood slowly dripped from his mouth. Ben clapped his hands together and a yellow blade of energy formed. "This is the end for you!" Ben said as he teleported. Jayden got to his feet, "Where did he go?" There was a snap in the air and Ben began slashing Jayden with his blade of energy. "AHHHHH!" Jayden shouted in pain as the blade cut through him. "This is my Aeigis Dance," Ben said, "No one has ever lived through this attack..." Ben's speed intensified as the attacks pierced through Jayden's armor sending blood into the air. "This is the final blow..." Ben said as he drove the sword through Jayden's chest. Blood sprayed the ground as Jayden stood still. "Wha...." Jayden began to say wearily. Ben smiled, "Your strong Jayden...but you're no match for me..." He said. Ben pulled the blade out of Jayden's chest and Jayden collapsed to the ground. Blood poured out of Jayden's chest, "I...I lost...." Jayden thought to himself as his vision began to blur, "Is this the end?" Ben stood over Jayden, "Pity....I guess I took things too far...oh well that man will get over it..." He said. Jayden could feel his body turning cold as the armor shattered and dissolved. Lightning cracked overhead, "A storm is coming..." Anubis said, "A storm that I am very familiar with..." Ben turned as the ground below Jayden began to split. Red and black energy began to rise from Jayden's body. "What...what is this?" Ben asked as he walked towards Jayden. "Boy...this is your true power...." Anubis said, "It's awakened after all this time....the demonic power that your family possesses...the power of the Rodakai...." Jayden's eyes widened as his heart began to beat uncontrollably. He felt like his whole body was on fire. The sky above began to turn black and the black and red energy swirled around Jayden. "What the hell are you?" Ben asked. Jayden looked up and smiled, "Your worst nightmare..." He replied.
