Episode 11

The night passed quickly as daybreak soon hit. Everyone prepared themselves for the attack that was to take place that night. "I just got off the phone with Mavis," Vere said, "We will meet up with her and the team at 1900 tonight near the port." Jayden nodded, "What do you think about tonight?" He asked. Vere sat on the couch and clapped his hands together, "Honestly, this operation is going to be dangerous, however, as long as we follow the plan then everything should go smooth and we won't have to ever deal with Oracle again," he said. Jayden walked around the room, "Once the fight begins there will be no turning back," he said, "I'm worried about Yuki." Vere grinned, "Your girlfriend can handle herself, this isn't our first rodeo and our first encounter with Oracle, we will all be fine," he replied. Jayden sighed and looked at the clock on the wall. It was almost 12pm and in a few short hours everyone would be on their way to confront Oracle once and for all. Mikiu and Martin entered the room followed by Yuki, "Everything is prepared I assume?" Martin asked. Vere nodded, "We are good to go, Devin is grabbing some gear from a contact that Mavis sent out right now," he replied. "Gear?" Mikiu asked, "What kind of gear?" "This gear," Devin replied as he dropped a duffle bag onto the floor. Everyone jumped in surprise. "What the hell is that?" Yuki asked. Devin grinned and unzipped the bag revealing flack jackets and padding. "We may have the power of the Elemental Gods on our side, but we aren't invincible," Devin said, "This'll keep us alive..hopefully." Everyone grabbed their gear and put them on. "We need to wait until nightfall, we don't want to draw any attention once we leave here and head to the port," Jayden said. Everyone sat quietly. The dim light of the sun slowly peaked through the blinds of the window and the big hand on the clock ticked loudly. "Jayden, are you prepared to finish this fight?" Anubis asked. Jayden nodded, "What choice do I have?" He asked. Anubis grunted, "Do you have what it takes to kill Ben?" Jayden was quiet. Anubis sighed, "He's the last piece of Oracle that needs to be dealt with...he won't take it easy on you," he said. "I know that...no matter what our past was before all of this...the memories...they were all lies after all..." Jayden said. "This fight won't be easy but together we will prevail," Anubis said. The room was quiet, darkness had fallen outside. Martin stood to his feet and looked around, "Let's go," he said, "This fight ends tonight."
